Episode starts with…
Its 11pm, RS Mansion,
Girls were spending time in Ishani’s room, while Angre and Vansh were indulged in a private talk in Vansh’s room and elders were all in living room having their own time.
Riddhima: Sejal, its late I think Mom & Dad are waiting for us. We need to go.
Sejal: Yeah, even I was wondering. C’mon let’s see
Ishani: Arrey, why do you want to leave so early.
Sejal: Madam, did you see the time!!!
Siya: So?? Stay back we’ll have girl’s night out
Riddhima: Hahaha. We can meet some other day and then we’ll have a night out but not today. I am too tired
Sejal: Me too…
Sao, they convinced Ishani and Siya to let them go and reached living room where everyone was present including Angre.
Sejal: Paa, let’s leave? I am tired
Rudra: We were waiting for you
Angre: Riddhu, let’s leave too? our house is empty without you. It has been waiting for your arrival for years now.
Riddhima first was happy and then she realised something and her expressions changed.
Riddhima: Bhai, I have always longed to meet you and come home but now I have a home, a family and I have promised dad that after today’s event I’ll come home. I can’t break that promise
Rudra: Beta, it’s not an issue. You have all rights to go to your home.
Riddhima: So, is that not my home?
Rudra: Beta, I didn’t mean that
Riddhima: Dad I was kidding (smiling).
Rudra: You are getting naughty these days (pulling her ears). You were, are and will always be my daughter. And that is your house forever. What I meant was, you got your lost relation today, so, this is the time to cherish that relation and spend some time together.
Angre: Uncle, she is right, she promised you so, she’ll go with you. You were with her for years and you have more right than me. So today she’ll fulfil her promise made to you. And if it’s our relation, then its eternal and we have many years to spend.
Riddhima hugs him and thanks him and then bidding bye to everyone as they were about to leave
Riddhima: Sejal, where is Vansh? I didn’t bid him bye.
Angre: Riddhu, he is in his room and is busy. I’ll inform him you people leave.
Riddhima nodded and left with Sejal and family. After them even Angre bid bye to everyone and left for home. Everyone retired to bed while Vansh was busy in some call.
Its 12:30am, Sejal’s house,
After reaching home, girls went into their rooms while Rudra and Chanchal too left for their room and retired to bed. Sejal dozed off as soon as she changed. Riddhima sat near the window and was staring at the dark sky and recollecting that happened in the whole day. She was exhausted so tried to sleep but seemed like her sleep was away than to expect. She was tossing around but that wasn’t working. She went into the balcony and as she stood under the dark sky, the cool breeze hit her hard and she felt like may be a walk in this silence would help. She turned to see that the clock hit 1am, she covered herself with a shawl and without making any noise she left the house after locking it.
Its 1am,
She informed the watchman that she’d be back after a while and if someone wakes up and asks about her then tell them that she went for a walk. She took her phone with EarPods and left for a calm walk. As she was walking on the empty streets, she was enjoying the silence, the cool breeze. She was enjoying her lone time and the music was helping her keep entertained. She was just walking and walking, without keeping a track on time. After a while she realised, she better goes to her secret place. So, she was heading towards her favourite secret place. as she was heading towards that she felt someone’s presence in her place. She felt weird as she thought none knows that place and at this hour none would come. She didn’t feel safe so she thought before that person notices her, she better moved away from here. So, as she was moving forward, she felt someone following her and so she turned back and, in the smog, filled dark night, all that she could see is a shadow approaching towards her. She started feeling scared, and decided to run and as she started to, she could sense her heart beat increasing and suddenly she collides with someone and out of fear she backs out and the voice doesn’t feel like unknown “YOU!!!” so she lifts her head to see who it was and one glance of that person calms her mind and heart and she is relieved to find him at that hour at that situation and at that place. She grasped his hand and pointed towards the direction where she saw the shadow. But by the time that person could see, there was none.
Unknown: What’s there Riddhima
Riddhima (looking at that direction): There was a person who was following me. Trust me Vansh!!! There was someone. (panic)
Vansh: Riddhima I trust you. But there’s none now. So, relax. I am here.
Riddhima tells him everything how she saw someone and how that person was following her.
Vansh: Have you gone nuts!!! How could you come out at this hour alone? If I didn’t come on time, what would have happened?
Riddhima was shocked at the way she saw anger in his eyes at the same time was touched by the way he cared for her. His concern was visible in his eyes & actions.
Riddhima: Vansh at least listen to me why I am here.
Vansh: It better be a valid
Riddhima told him why she came out. Vansh was listening keenly.
Riddhima: This is not the first time I am out at this time. I have been doing so for years but this is the first time something like this happened.
Vansh: Its ok don’t worry. You are fine.
Something strikes Riddhima
Riddhima: by the way what are you doing here at this hour?
Vansh: Came to protect you (winking)
Riddhima: Vansh!!!
Vansh: Acha sorry! Actually, even I wanted some fresh air and so came for a walk. There is a calm place here around so was going there.
Riddhima: Vansh, vaise that person seems to have left now so why don’t we go to my favourite place. (excitement)
Vansh: Seriously Riddhima! After all this too you want to go there.
Riddhima: C’mon Vansh, you are there. So, what am I supposed to be scared of?
Vansh was speechless as the way she confessed that she feels safe around him.
Riddhima: Please Vansh, please!!! (making a puppy face)
Vansh (smiling): Acha okay. Come
Riddhima was happy. So, they started moving in that direction. Vansh made sure none was following them or if that shadow was following her. Her safety was his priority. Riddhima was careless as there was someone else who’s keen on caring and protecting her. She was blabbering something but Vansh didn’t seem to pay heed to what she was speaking as he was busy adoring her. He was observing her actions as she was speaking, how her hands were gesturing in air, how her eyes were widening occasionally. He realized Riddhima stopped speaking and was adoring a place. so, he looked towards that direction to see a known place, he was stunned
Vansh: How do you know this place!!!
Riddhima: Not many know this place. This is my favourite place and I have discovered this place years back and occasionally visit, whenever I am happy, sad, depressed, excited or whatever be my emotion, I prefer sharing that with this pond and its surroundings.
The place was a small pond with few lotuses, the surroundings were calm and peace filled its air away from chaos. There were 2-3 benches arranged for experiencing the calmness of the area. Lush green trees were protecting the pond from any sought of pollution or disturbance. Riddhima dragged Vansh onto a bench as they sat, Riddhima realised something and turned towards Vansh who had a questioning expression on his face and was trying to figure out something.
Riddhima: Vansh, do you too know this place? Your expression when you saw this place was as if you were shocked to see that there’s someone else too who is aware of this place.
Vansh: Yes Riddhima, I know this place and I was talking about this same place few minutes back.
Riddhima: Whatttt!!!!!
Vansh: That was my reaction when I realised that you know this place. but how come you know about it?
Riddhima: It should be my question because it was me and Sejal with help of dad have maintained this place when I found it years back. From then I visit this place occasionally to share my feelings with it.
Vansh: Ohh I see. But I got to know about this place 3 years back. From then I visit this place whenever I am happy or sad.
Riddhima: So, today you are here for? Happiness or depression?
Vansh: I don’t know if I am happy or depressed but my heart definitely found solace and peace so just came to share it with this place. And you are here to share your happiness right!
Riddhima: Obviously, I got all my happiness, I don’t think I need anything. Btw, how did you get to know about this place?
Vansh: Is it needed? Can’t we talk about something else.
Riddhima: Please (puppy face). Don’t tell if its personal
Vansh: (smiling) Anyone could melt to share everything if you make such puppy faces.
Riddhima (Smiling hard): So, you sharing?
Vansh: That night I was upset and depressed so came out for a walk and then I saw a girl covered in shawl feeding few stray dogs, I wondered if she is ok as it was late so thought I’ll help her so as I proceeded towards her, I saw her walking away after feeding the stray, so thought I’ll accompany her till she reaches her home. While I was following her, she had no idea that I was behind her. She came to this spot and was talking with herself about her completing her some course and now she is officially a doctor. She was happy and said is missing someone. She almost stayed here for an hour or so. I have been observing her all the while as I stood behind that tree (pointing towards a tree). She felt strange like who could talk to nature but then her that trick helped me and I used to come here almost daily for 2years and then I found peace and started coming here occasionally. At times I used to find her but then I never felt like disturbing her so never met her. Hope I’d meet her someday…
