Actor Reyaansh Vir Chadha, who was last seen in the show ‘Prem Bandhan’, is all set to join the cast of Aggar Tum Na Hote. Reyaansh will essay the role of an antagonist Angad in the show. The character of Angad will turn Abhimanyu (essayed by Himanshu Soni) and Manorama’s (by Anita Kulkarni) world upside down. R
IN a recent interview with BT, the actor talked about it and shared, “Manorama happens to be Angad’s biological mother, who abandons him at a very young age. He is now back in her life with the sole intention of taking revenge against her and Abhimanyu, as he feels that the latter got all the love that he rightfully deserved.”
Talking about being poles apart from his character in the show, Reyaansh shared, “I have been raised by a single mother and all I have for her is immense love and gratitude. I have seen her sacrifice a lot for my happiness and well-being. So, to invoke the emotion of anger and revenge against my mother even if it is on the screen will be difficult. However, the real challenge for any actor lies in a character, which is completely different from what he is in real life. Such characters also enable him to hone his acting skills. This character will require a lot of preparation — mentally and emotionally. It will be a gradual process of getting into the groove and understanding the psyche of the character. I have not played a part like this in my career so far. Every actor aspires to play diverse characters and I am glad that I am getting an opportunity to portray something different.”
