Review: ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ premier episode had everything you can wish for

Hey everyone! I am going to be reviewing the new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi and I hope you will like it.

Colors’ Khatron Ke Khiladi is back with it’s newest season, Khatron Ke Khiladi – Darr v/s Dare where it had its premiere episode airing tonight onwards. And having been one of the successful franchises for Colors channel over the years, the first episode indeed had everything you could have wished for.

Beginning with the introduction of the contestants this season, it had the perfect comic start you expect from a show like Khatron. The contestants especially the likes of Arjun Bijlani, Nikki Tamboli and Abhinav Shukla garnered all the laughs and making sure the fun is an integral part like every season.

And also like every season, the chemistry between the lot of contestants seem palpable and indeed a lot of fun. It was also novel that the likes of Sourabh Raaj Jain and Shwera Tiwari got special introductions which added to the fun and madness.

Getting back to business, the first stunt was rather normal but that was expected as it was like warming up the contestants. It still had a Bollywood thrill to it where three contestants (Tiwari, Bijlani and Anushka Sen) had to race against a cheetah and try to beat it.

And as usual, it was Rohit Shetty who takes the cake for being the perfect host for the show. Not only does he add to the laughs and fun with his comic abilities, there is an innate ability in his personna where you cannot help but constantly respect him and follow him blindly when he is helping out or instructing during a stunt.

The second stunt added much more to the thrill where the fear of heights was put into practice and that resulted in a lot of fun as well. This stunt also had a good mix of contestants with Aastha Gill, Rahul Vaidya and Abhinav Shukla performing it.

All in all, Khatron Ke Khiladi – Darr v/s Dare made sure to tick all the boxes you would expect from the show but still not feeling monotonous. The premier episode had made for a good start to the stunt-based reality show and it will only continue to get interesting with every episode.

This is the end of my review. Hope you liked it.
