Story starts…
*Music academy*
Ragini on the stage was playing veena…
Janaki was looking at Ragini happily.
Ragini starts singing, ‘re sa.. re sa ma ga re re sa…’
Whole hall is looking at her silently amused by her music and voice.
Janaki was clapping her hands slowly as she was listening her music. Her eyes are little filled with tears.. (in happiness)
Ap and Sujatha also happen to come to that program as guests.
Suj:: jiji, isn’t she Shekar’s 2nd daughter Ragini..
Ap nods her head looking at Ragini amazed.
Ragini was playing veena, ‘aa..aa.aa.aaa..aaa…’ she sings again…
Ap: she is completely different from their 1st daughter.
Ragini finishes the show.. all claps their hands..
Janaki goes to Ragini after she getting down. She kisses on Ragini’s forehead. Ap looks at them in a smile.
Ragini:: maa, shall i go out with my friends for a while?
Janaki smiles:: go beta.. but, come soon and be careful.
Ragini nods her head innocently.
At Maheswari office,
Laksh was looking at the jhumki of Ragini. He remembers how Ragini fell on him.. etc..
“I never liked a girl this much..!” he thinks.
Sanskar comes near Laksh and sees this scene.
{Let’s assume Sanskar has got his love Kavitha, they aren’t separated… so, Sanskar need not act mad. And, soon in coming days.. Sanskar is going to marry her.}
San:: hmm, lucky.. do you like that girl..??
Lak:: yes.. but, what should i do now..??
San:: don’t stop the love within you.. go and propose her..!! Go. I will talk with badi maa and bade papa.
Laksh nods head in smile.
Ap comes near Dp who is in office itself.
Ap: i think, Ragini is better to Laksh. However Shekar ji informed us, swara can’t marry him.
Dp: you are right.. but, will Shekar agree?
Ap: we will ask and see..
Dp nods head.
In an Ice cream parlour.
Ragini and her friends were eating something. Ragini was in modern dress now.
Friend1: why do you do like this Ragini..? you can be same at house and out know..
Ragini:: my mom doesn’t like being like this, so.. i’m traditional in home. But, i like to be like this out.
Friend2: what if, your mom comes to know..?
Ragini:: stupid, take some good words from your mouth. Don’t speak apashakun.
Ragini then walks out with her friends and suddenly clashes with a lady as she was looking back and talking to her friends.
Ragini shocks and looks front.. It is none other but, Daadi.
Daadi doesn’t know who is Ragini as she was far away from Shekar from years.
Daadi:: hey chori, can’t you see and walk..!!
Ragini: i’m so sorry daadi..
Ragini says and gives the bag which fell down. Daadi takes it from her in annoyance.
Daadi: the girls these days have spoiled a lot.. see those dresses..!!
Ragini:: sorry daadi, but.. dresses won’t decide character..
Daadi shows her finger towards Ragini.. Ragini looks at her silently..
Daadi: you need not take classes for me. I know about modern girls like you..!!
Ragini just smiles with her words. She goes away.
After sometime..
At Gadodiya house,
Ragini reaches house and changes her dress before her parents come to house. She keeps remembering Daadi’s words and gets annoyed.
Then she starts dancing for a song to get out of it.
Janaki and all others are not at home.
Then, Laksh happens to come there.
He takes out Jhumki in his hand and smiles. Ragini was wearing chudidar, but she has thrown her duppatta aside and she was in her free hair. Dancing madly to a fast song.
Laksh knocks the door, with the music sound, she can’t hear it. Finally, he goes to window to call someone.
Ragini has closed all the doors, but she has forgot to close the windows. Laksh shocks looking at Ragini dancing as madly as she could.
She was killing her freedom before her parents, and when they are not there.. she enjoys her own world.
Ragini keeps dancing on bed and looks at Laksh suddenly who was standing at window. Ragini shocks and makes a wrong step, and she falls from bed.
‘ahh’ she shouts. Laksh closes his eyes.
Ragini sets herself and wears her duppatta. She comes and opens the door. Laksh was looking at her but, she was looking down.
“Maa papa went out. Is there is anything important to say??” she asks as innocently as she could.
Laksh smiles,
“yes, very important. I came to give this.” He says and forwards Jhumka in his hand.
Ragini amazes seeing it. She was searching for it a long yesterday. She takes it, “thank you”
Laksh smiles as she said it. He gets hesitated to talk more. Ragini opens the door wide.
“Please come inside. Mom dad will come in 10 min.” Ragini says.
Laksh feels hesitates.. “no, it’s ok.. it’s ok.”
Rag:: hey, it’s ok dude. I won’t eat you. Did you really come to give this jhumka??
Ragini laughs.
Laksh bends his head and rubs his nape.
“Ok, i will go..”
Rag: yeah sure, bye…
Laksh goes away soon and he sits in car. He sighs. “she is volcano.” He thinks.
That night,
Shekar was talking in phone,
“Ji.. ji.., Sure. No need to ask my daughter. She will do whatever we say. She respects us a lot..!!”
Ragini looks at Shekar as he said that and she sighs.
Shekar:: Janaki, a good news. Maheswari family is ok with make relation with us. They are asking Ragini for Laksh.
Swara:: wow, that means, i’m safe.
Ragini glares at her, “yes, because of you only.. now i struck in this..!!”
Ragini sighs sadly.
Janaki:: I’m happy for this.. but, swara…
Swara: mom, i already said that i will select groom on myself. Don’t worry about me. And, all the best Ragini…
She keeps hand on her shoulder..
Rag:: idiot, this was all bcz of you..!!
She says and chases swara.. swara runs from her. Both keeps laughing and running..
And, Ragini runs and suddenly clashes to a person who has just entered the door. Shekar and Janaki amazes looking at the person.
“Maa..” Shekar exclaims.
Daadi was standing in front of them with tears filled eyes. She glares at Ragini for a while and Ragini is looking at her shocked.
Daadi doesn’t understand who is Janaki’s daughter and who is Shmoi’s daughter as she was far away since shomi was dead.
Shekar takes Daadi into the room.
Daadi:: i have come to see my ladoo, not that shomi’s daughter.
Shekar:: here no one is there like that. Both are Janaki’s daughters. Even Ragini swara don’t know this. Plz, don’t put any trouble now.
Daadi:: but shekar, at least tell me, who is Janaki’s…
Shekar:: maa, i don’t like if you show difference.
Daadi sighs. She decides to stay there and soon identify who is her ladoo.
Shekar introduces her as grandmom of them. Ragini excites.
Rag:: me and Daadi already met this morning..
Daadi:: yeah Ragini was in modern..
Ragini then suddenly closes Daadi’s mouth and takes her in.
Daadi:: what is this Ragini??
Ragini joins her hand..
“Daadi maa, Plz.. plz don’t say anything to mom dad. They will feel bad..”
Ragini was jumping as kangaroo in front of her. Daadi laughs and beats her gently,
“Ok, i won’t say..”
“Wow.. that’s my Daadi maa..!!” exclaims Ragini and hugs her.
A smirk appears on Daadi’s face..
“I will find out who is Janaki’s daughter in them, and surely separate Shomi’s daughter from this family..!!”
Daadi smirks.
*Next Day*
In temple…
From the lights of diyas.. Ragini’s face is shown..
She was singing a bhajan song very melodiously…
Daadi and Janaki who were sitting on both sides of her are listening and doing puja for god.
Then, Laksh who has followed Ragini from her house comes to that temple and bends from pillar to see her…
Ragini was singing… ‘nanda gopala….’
Laksh touches his heart and falls on pillar with mesmerisation.
He was looking like that only at Ragini in smile…
San:: just looks or are you going to say anything??
Lak:: shh, listen her voice.. how sweet..!!
Later, Ragini was lighting some diyas.. and Laksh was looking at her big ear rings, her hair which falling on her cheeks and she was moving them back with her slender fingers..
Ragini bends to ground to tie her anklet which is about to fall.. Laksh too bends to look her face…
The ornaments around her neck keep giving her face more light.. Laksh was just admiring her beauty silently..
Ragini looks at his side as she feels someone is looking at her.. then Laksh soon lays on ground and starts making pradakshin..(rounds) with his whole body.
Ragini ignores and keeps going. Laksh was rolling on ground, and Ragini was looking up.. accidentally.. she steps on Laksh’s chest..
Laksh closes his eyes and her smooth feet touched his chest.
“Oops, I’m really.. very very sorry..!!” Ragini says worried.
Laksh gets up, ‘no problem..’ he says and keeps going away rubbing his chest with love.
“How calm and smooth she is. A traditional and silent girl.. this is what i wanted in my wife. I’m happy I found such girl..”
Laksh is thinking.
“I have to hurry to my guitar class..!!” Ragini thinks coming out of temple..
