Ananya cries reminiscing Malvika’s insult and Kabeer telling they are reporters and their duty is to bring out truth and nothing much. Richa sees that and signals Ronnie. Ronnie tries to console her. Ananya tells if they are only reporters and not humans, she did not become reporter to show someone’s helplessness. She went to cover story, but could not see Mahi malhotra’s helplessness and freed her, but Kabeer wants to bring live dead body of Mahi here to increase their channel’s TRP. If they will show a drug addict or a person’s dignity. Ronnie says everything will be alright.

Kabeer calls his khabri and asks where did Ananya take Mahi. Khabri says she took her to her house with Tinu’s help. Kabeer asks him to bring Mahi here within 1 year.

Ananya

cries vigorously reminiscing Kabeer’s words. Peon informs her that Khalid called her. She entes Khalid’s cabin who is with Malvika. He sees her and asks how is she and asks to sit. He offers her water and says he knows how stressful is reporter’s job and he does not want to pressurize her for channel’s reputation. He is happy that she is working hard to get stories. He then says Kabeer told Mahi met her and says he wants to tell her about their business. She asks what about humanity. He gets irked and asks if she thinks he is not human and says he is running channel since 8 years and never aired news which had moral issues. She asks if he is jealous of Kabeer and says only KKN channel gives freedom to junior reporters. He shouts if she thinks she got 2 lakhs just like that. She says she will return his 2 lakhs by tomorrow afternoon and tries to walk out. Malvika stops her and says she works for this channel and should be loyal to channel and not an individual, but she is showing attitude. Ananya says her profession is not more than a person’s life, so she will not sell Mahi’s story. Khalid says she does not look so cruel by face. Malvika says she is egoistic and says she does not know what will happen today.

Malvika goes to Ronnie and asks if all is well. He says Kabeer asked Manav to announce about tonight’s breaking news. Manav walks out of news room without annoucning about breaking news. Malvika angrily follows him and asks why did not he do as she said. He says he is a news reporter and not puppet and says let me explain it clearly. He says he had an affair because she is KKN channel’s owner’s daughter, but because she is hot and says she should move on in life now. Malvika walks into her cabin not withstanding her insult. Manav then praises Ananya and says she cannot expect help from anybody here though.

Kabeer comes back and asks Richa to go with team for a live telecast.
Ananya calls home and asks mom if Mahi is fine. Mom says Mahi is fine, but Armaan has not reached home yet. She says he will be fine and even she is coming home.

Ananya reaches home sadly. Mom asks what happened. She says nothing important and asks if business is everything. Mom says when her papa was alleged, his bosses, media and everybody started questioning and insulting him, he used to come home and ask same question.

Kabeer gets ready for his news. Khalid asks what will we tell people as we are getting many calls. Kabeer asks him to tell that they will get what they are promised.

Kabeer starts his news and reports about rave party and Richa taking live report about police raid. Richa questions inspector who says it is a private party. Ananya sees drug peddler getting van and inspector says he caught a drug peddler. Kabeer continues and says media’s duty is to show a mirror to society and questioning is up to them. Rohan and ‘Trisha praise kabeer’s reports.

Kabeer gives his end of episode moral gyaan.

Precap: Kabeer says Khalid he thought he would not handle, but he did and did not take Mahi’s name in his reports and knew if not Mahi someone else.
