Relay OS Competition… Further Information..

FURTHER INFORMATION:

PHASE 1

Will be commencing from the 23rd of September, 2017.

CERTAIN RULES AND INFORMATION:

FOR PARTICIPANTS:(only applicable for phase 1)

in phase one, each participant gets a period of 24 hours, to submit their part of the story. 24 hours will be calculated based on when the participant received the information/incomplete story.
Each participant can only add 400 to 500 words in their part.
Each participant will be given a number, which only I will be knowing. Judges will be sent the entire story, with what has been submitted by each participant. Participant name will be kept concealed until the competition ends.
Eg. Participant 1234 writes: (Once upon a time…. ) followed by participant 2344 who adds (He looked at her mesmerized..) etc.
Each participant will have to send their part of OS via email. (For all phases)

As there are only a handful of participants, (31 registered, 3 unregistered and 1 unnamed account.), I will be making only 6 groups.
GOOD NEWS IS EVEN UNREGISTERED ACCOUNTS CAN PARTICIPATE.
(THIS IS BECAUSE AS I WILL BE UPDATING THE OSes ON TU, by myself, THEY REALLY DO NOT REQUIRE ANY REGISTRATION…)
IF ANY UNREGISTERED ACCOUNTS ARE STILL INTERESTED TO PARTICIPATE.. THEY CAN COMMENT BELOW…with in the 23rd of September.. “ONLY UNREGISTERED” CAUSE REGISTERED ACCOUNTS ALREADY HAD THEIR TIME TO GIVE NAMES…)

The first person will get their piece of information on 23rd september, he/she will have to submit it by 24th september.
The phase 1 will run until all contestant in each group has had their chance into giving their part in the story.
Missed turns means you have disqualified yourself from the competition.

FOR JUDGES: (THROUGHOUT THE COMPETITION/ FOR ALL PHASES)

WELL, Good thing is I have finalized 5 judges, despite the less number of competitors. It was so difficult for me to choose actually. I loved all of your point of views. Each one had a unique way of perception… and I had to only select 5. So based on the quality and presentation, I have chosen my 5. I have sent the selected judges texts. Those who were not selected, if you wish to take part then surely do! And extremely sorry of not being able to select you all. Do not feel bad or take it to heart… 🙂

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE SELECTED JUDGES MAINTAIN STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY ABOUT THEIR IDENTITY. I DO NOT WANT THE READERS OR WRITERS TO KNOW WHO THE JUDGES ARE. AT THE END OF THE COMPETITION.. I WILL REVEAL THEM… “my super judges”!!!

Each OS will be judged by each one of the 5 judges including I.
We will be judging separately on various points:
Quality of your writing
Grammar and spelling
Character exploration (shows different shades of a character)
Way of explaining a scene/ scenic description
Use of new words
Introducing new interesting plots(never before seen, if possible)
Overall story content
Total marks for each OS will be calculated out of 100.
40% will be marks given by myself.
60% by the 5 judges.
75% of overall 100% marks given by the 6 of us will be added to the 25% from the voting.
Each vote counts as 1 mark.

PRIZES:

Many of you wanted to know what prizes will they be getting after all this hard work.

Well let me just tell you, You are going to a memory for life, fun and happiness.. and probably new friends. This is the most precious gift one can get in life. Still, there will be prizes for those who came out in the first 3.

1st Prize Winner: (Selected on the basis of overall aggregate of all 3 phases.)
Shoutout on TU, wattpad, Twitter and Instagram. (If they have an acct.)
Comments ( and votes if they have an account on wattpad.) on all chapters/episodes in any fanfiction of their choice.
Bragging rights.
A chance to form a scene of their favorite couple in any of my stories of their choice..(the author will be credited.)
A chapter dedicated to them in a fanfiction that I am writing on their favourite couple.
Any other special awards that my judges would wish to provide them with.
I would also write an OS on their favourite couple as a reward!
Short interview will be taken, (this will be featured into my collected interviews of precious and inspiring souls, which I am planning to publish after my final year exam:) )

2nd Prize Winner:
Shout out on TU and Wattpad.
Comments/ votes on 10 chapters or episodes in any of their fanfictions of their choice.
Bragging rights.
A chapter dedicated to them in a fanfiction that I am writing (on their favourite couple.)
Short interview.
Any other rewards that my judges would wish to provide them with.

3rd Prize Winner:
Shoutout on TU.
Comments/votes on 2 chapters/episodes in any of their fanfictions of my choice.
Bragging rights.
Short interview.
Any other rewards that my judges would wish to provide them with.

***I am writing a book personally, that I am willing to publish during my internship (2019), and each of my judge and winners of my relay competition are promised a FREE SIGNED copy of my book.***

The judges who will be helping me.. definitely deserves a prize too…
Each judge will be given a chapter dedicated to them in my fanfiction on their favourite couple.
A permanent follow from me on wattpad/instagram.(applicable foe those having accts.)
Honest recommendation…(incase of further working together)
Their interviews will also be featured into my collected interviews of inspiring and precious souls.
