Recap: Bhavya received a text message from the unknown caller and she was shocked. She doesn’t want him to come, so she decides to talk with him once, whenever he calls.
Part 7
Anika wasn’t in college today, so the gang got the opportunity to plan the surprise birthday party for her. They are having a hard time choosing a nice place for the party.
Om: guys, jaldi kuch socho na?
Gauri: soch hi toh rahe hain..machar thori na maar rahe hai..
Om gave her a stern look.
Shivaay: surprise party ki kya zarrorat hai?
Everybody looked at him irritably.
Om: shut up Shivaay…will you?
Shivaay: idea hai..
Bhavya: umm…kisi club mein ya farm house pe celebrate karein?
Shivaay: club toh nahi lekin farm house..?
Gauri: hmm…farm house nahi hum weekend ke liya Kasauli jaa sakte hain?
Om: arey haan…waise bhi long weekend hai, Monday, Tuesday bhi college nahi hai!
Soumya: haan bohot maza ayega….last time bhi kitni masti ki thi na?
Gauri: ya..lekin Somu dad se permission leni hogi..
Soumya: haan..
Bhavya: Kasauli mein kahaan rahein gay?
Rudra: actually meri mom aur meri behen prinku wahaan rehte hain!
Bhavya: oh ok…
Shivaay: Anika ko kon bataye ga?
Rudra: ek kaam karte hain…mein Gauri aur Somu ke saath uncle se permission lene jaata hoon aur tum teeno Anika ke ghar jao..!!
Bhavya: ok cool…

Om: long weekend hai…aur tum… (Shivaay cuts him off before he spill the beans about the party)
Shivaay: woh….actually weekend hai aur…umm…Ru-Rudra apni mom aur prinku ko bohot miss kar raha hai…
Bhavya: h-haan…woh apni mom se milna chahta hai…!
Anika: arey yaar mein bhi apni mom ko miss kar rahi hoon…mein Punjab chali jao weekend ke liye?
Gauri,Shivaay&Soumya: Nahin!!!!
Anika: kyun??
Gauri: kyun ki Kasauli ka plan specially tu… (This time Bhavya cuts her off)
Bhavya: Kasauli ka plan humne itne mehnat se banaya aur tum mana kar rahi ho?
Anika: theek hai yaar…mein Kasauli aaongi…
Shivaay: Thank god kaam hogaya… (He sighed)
Anika: kaam?
Om: Rudra ka kaam ho gaya…
Anika: oh acha…(after a pause) lekin konsa kaam?
Soumya: umm…us ko kuch kaam tha m-mall mein woh hogaya!

Gauri: dad please can we go?
Soumya: yes dad please…hume jaane do?
Rudra: yes dad…oops I mean uncle..
Soumya and Gauri giggled.
Raj: ok you guys can go…but be careful and take care of your selves.
Gauri & Soumya: Thank you dad!!! (They both give him a hug)
Rudra: Thank you uncle… (He smiled)

Soumya: Rudra tumne aunty ko bataya ki hum wahaan aa rahe hain?
Rudra: nope…mein unhe surprise dena chahta hoon…
Om: surprise se yaad aaya, saara samaan toh le liya hain na?
Anika: samaan? Konsa samaan?
All except Anika: Om!!!!!!!!
Om: sorry…sorry…itna chilla ne ki zarrorat nahin hai..
Rudra: kuch nahi Anika, who meri mom ke liye kuch samaan le jaana tha…Om usi ki baat kar raha hai!
Anika: ohh…ok (daal mein kuch kaala lag raha hai…she thought)

They’ve reached Kasauli now and they are standing outside of the door, waiting for someone to open the door. After a while a lady in her 40’s opens the door and a girl may be 19 years old was standing next to her.
Rudra: hiiiiii mom (he hugs her) hey Prinku (he hugs her too)
Rudra’s mom: Rudra?? Tum yahaan?
Rudra: kyun apni mom se millne nahin aa sakta?(he pouted)
Rudra’s mom: of course aa sakte ho…lekin achanak?
Rudra: who mein baad mein bataon ga…
Soumya: hellooo Jhanvi aunty!! (She hugs her)
Jhanvi: hey Soumya… (She hugs her back)
Gauri: arey aunty sirf Rudra aur Somu hi nahi hum bhi hai…
Jhanvi: aao tum sab…ander aa kar baat karte hain!
They go inside.
Rudra: umm…mom yeh hai Bhavya, humari new friend delhi se aayi hai..
Bhavya: hello aunty..
Jhanvi: hey Bhavya…..toh ab batao tum sab achanak yahaan?
Rudra: mom sab batate hain lekin phele kuch khaye bohot bhok lagi hai…
Jhanvi: acha mein tum sab ke liye nashtaa le kar aati hoon! (She goes to the Kitchen)

Soumya and Priyanka are in a different room then everyone; it’s called the red room. Priyanka’s favorite room.
Soumya: Priyanka pata hai last time jab hum wapas gaye the na toh mein tumhe bohot miss kar rahi hi…
Priyanka: meine bhi tumhe bohot miss kiya!
Soumya: meine tumhare us “hero” bhai se kaha bhi ki mujhe Priyanka se baat karni hai, lekin us ne mujhe tumse baat hi nahi karvai! He’s so mean…
Rudra comes.
Rudra: Priyanka tum is Somu ki baat mat sunna yeh toh yunhin bakwaas kar rahi hai…is ne tumhe kabhi miss nahi kiya…she’s lying! (he goes and sits next to them)
Soumya: Rudra!! Jhoot mat bolo! Priyanka is ki baat mat sunna yeh Jhoot bol raha hai…
Priyanka: jaanti hoon..
Rudra: acha naya dost mil gaya hai toh tum uski side le rahi ho…waise mein yeh chocolate laya tha lekin ab mein hi kha leta hoon..(Priyanka was about to say something, but Soumya cuts her off)
Soumya: Priyanka mein tumhare liya chocolate ka ek pura box layi hoon…chalo mein tumhe deti hoon!
Priyanka: dekha Rudra bro…aap se achi toh Soumya hain…woh mere liye chocolate ka “box” layi hain! Byee (Soumya grabs her bag and walks to the guest room with Priyanka)
Rudra: jao, jao tum dono ko toh mein dekh longa!!

Soumya: aunty khaana bana ne ki koi zarrorat nahi hai…nashte se hi pait bhar gaya..
Jhanvi: nahin beta…khaana toh khaana hi parega…itna lamba safar kar ke aye ho bohot bhok lagi hogi tum sab ko…
Rudra: your right mom bohot bhuk lagi hai…
Soumya: Rudra tum aunty ko kyun takleef de rahe ho?
Rudra: mein takleef de raha hoon? Aur tum kya kar rahi ho?
Jhanvi: arey tum dono shuru mat ho jaana please…? Aur Rudra…Priyanka kahaan hai?
Rudra: Anika, Bhavya, aur Gauri ko guest room le kar gayi hai..
Soumya: aunty mein fresh ho kar aati hoon… (She leaves)
Jhanvi: so Rudra kya khao ge?
Rudra: mom khaana bana ne ki kya zarrorat, Somu sahi bol rahi thi…
Jhanvi: acha? Tu uske saamne toh kuch aur bol raha tha? Hamesha use pareshaan karta rehta hai…

Rudra: arey yaar bohot thak gaya hoon!
Shivaay: driving meine aur Om ne ki aur hum se ziyada tu thak gaya?
Rudra: haan yaar baithe, baithe thak gaya..
Shivaay: yeh Om bathroom mein so raha hai kya? Kitni der kar raha hai…
Om yells from the bathroom: I heard that Shivaay!!! now shut up and go to sleep…
Shivaay: I don’t care aur tu jaldi nikal mujhe shower lena hai!

Gauri: Aunty Bhavya aur Somu aap ko khaana bana ne mein help kar deinge…
Jhanvi: theek hai, lekin Anika ko kitchen se durhi rakhna…
Gauri: don’t worry aunty we’ll take care of it…acha mein chalti hoon bohot kaam hai!
Jhanvi: ok…

Om: Shivaay? Rudra? Tum dono shaam ko Anika ko ghar se kahin bahaar le jaana taaki hum ghar decorate kar sakein..?
Shivaay: lekin woh hamare saath nahi aayegi!
Bhavya: toh ab kya karein?
Priyanka: mein Anika ko mall leker jaaongi? Aur phir 9 o’ clock ko mein usse ghar le aaongi?
Shivaay: hmmm…
Soumya: I think Priyanka is right!
Rudra: ok theek hai hum aisa karein ge…lekin Prinku make sure ki Anika ko koi shak na ho…alright?
Priyanka: yes bro… (She gives him a hi-fi)

It was 6 o’clock and Anika was sitting alone in the garden and she was really upset, coz none of her friends had wished her on her special day. She didn’t want to talk with anyone; she just wanted to be left alone for today. But unfortunately Priyanka comes and disturbs her.
Priyanka: Anika tum mere saath mall chalogi please??
Anika: nahin Priyanka…mera mood nahin hai tum kisi aur ke saath chale jao…
Priyanka: lekin mujhe tumhare saath hi jaana hai…is ghar mein meri baat koi nahin sunta, sab apne, apne kaam mein buzy hain! Please chalo na? (She pleaded)
Anika couldn’t say no, coz Priyanka asked her so innocently.
As soon as Priyanka and Anika gets out of the house, everybody starts working. Rudra, Om, and Gauri starts decorating the room, Soumya and Bhavya helps Jhanvi in the Kitchen and Shivaay was going to the bakery to get the cake.
Shivaay: Rudra teri car toh Anika lekar gayi hai, ab mein cake kaise lene jaon ga?
Rudra: don’t worry yaar, tu mom ki car lekar chala ja…aur jaldi ja hamara order ready hoga!
Shivaay: ok…

After all the preparations everybody gets ready. They had only invited few guests. And they have already arrived. The boys are ready but the girls were not ready yet. Shivaay turns off the lights coz Anika and Priyanka might be coming home at any moment.
As soon as he turns off the lights, the girls come downstairs. Nobody could see them coz it was Dark.
Anika and Priyanka comes back right at 9:10.
Anika: huh? Why is it so dark?
Everyone yells: Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! (The lights turn on)
Anika: OMG….. (Anika is amazed and doesn’t know how to react)
Priyanka drags her in to the leaving room.
Gauri: Happy Birthday Anika!!! (She hugs her)
Anika: t-thank you Gauri…and thank you everyone…mein ne yeh expect nahi kiya tah!! I can’t believe it…(She was really happy)
Priyanka: believe karna hoga….Happy Birthday!!
Anika: thank you Prinku…mall ka bahaana kaafi acha tha (Priyanka laughs) sach mein mujhe laga ki tum log bhul gaye honge! (she had tears in her eyes)
Om: arey hum hamari bestfriend ka special day kaise bhul sakte hain?
One by one everyone wishes her and then Bhavya takes her upstairs to get changed.

Rudra is stunned by Soumya’s beauty; she was looking drop dead gorgeous in that stunning blue dress. Rudra couldn’t take his eyes off her. And he didn’t even know why. Other girls were also looking ordinary but for him Soumya was looking extraordinary.
Soumya: Rudra?
Rudra: h-haan?
Soumya: kahaan kho gaye?
Rudra: woh kuch nahi bas…
Soumya: acha tum ne cake kahaan rakha?
Rudra: mein ne mom ko diya tha…
Soumya: oh ok… (She turns to leave but Rudra stops her)
Rudra: Somu!!
Soumya: hmm? (She turns around)
Rudra: you look beautiful today… (He gives her his million dollars smile)
Soumya: thank you… (She shyly walks away)
Rudra talking to himself: Oye Hoye…Somu jab sharmati hai toh aur bhi khubsurat lagti hai… (After a pause) yeh mein kya bol raha hoon? And where did the “Oye hoye” came from??…I’m losing it…meine kya khaaya tha ki mein yeh sab bol raha hoon?….ohhh meine juice piya tha, that’s why! But Soumya does look cute… (He smiles)
Bhavya comes down with the Birthday girl, who was looking luminously beautiful in her long red dress. When Shivaay looked at her he was left amazed by looking at Anika. She was looking absolutely fantastic. He couldn’t believe that she’s Anika coz she looks totally different in a dress, she looks prettier than ever.
Shivaay talking to himself: Anika looks sooo beautiful today! Aaj toh ise nazar lag hi jaye gi…she looks outstanding..!! Wait yeh mein kya bol raha hoon? Nazar lag jaye gi? OMG I think mein pagal ho raha hoon…lekin kyun? (Rudra looks at Shivaay staring at Anika and he walks up to him)
Rudra: yahi soch raha hai na ki she looks beautiful then ever?
Shivaay: oye tujhe kaise pata?
Rudra: kyunki meine bhi yahi juice piya tha kuch der phele (he points at the juice glass, which was in Shivaay’s hand) aur jab meine Somu ko dekha toh mein bhi aisa hi kuch soch raha tha..
Shivaay: you mean is juice mein kuch hai?
Rudra: of course…woh dekh (he points at Om) Om bhi Gauri ko dekh kar aisa hi kuch soch raha hai, aur woh bhi yahii juice pi raha hai!

Bhavya: Anika? Come let’s cut the cake?
Anika: sure…
It was a Black Forest Cake, and Anika loves black forest it’s her favorite. She was touched with this surprise party. It wasn’t just a surprise party for her it was more than that. The cake, the food, and the decorations everything was prepared based on Anika’s choice. She was really touched, to know that her friends know her choices so well.
Anika cuts the cake and feeds it to all her friends, including Jhanvi and Prinku. Everyone gives her gifts and she is really happy to know that everyone remembered her birthday.
Soumya, Gauri, and Bhavya were serving the food to the guests.
After the dinner they had a fast song on, and everyone was dancing except for Shivaay and Anika. They were standing together, but they weren’t talking, they were just looking at their friends dancing. After few minutes Shivaay finally breaks the silence by saying…
Shivaay: Anika, aaj tum bohot hi sundar lag rahi ho…
Anika: Thanks Shivaay… (This was unexpected comment she thought)
Shivaay: tu-tumhe cake pasand aaya?
Anika: haan..bohot hi acha hai, actually yeh mera favorite hai…kisne order kiya tha?
Shivaay: meine…in fact yeh mera bhi favorite hai!
Anika: oh that’s nice…
After the fast song, it was a slow song’s turn now. They DJ was playing a slow romantic song called Soniyo. Shivaay wanted to dance with Anika on this song, and he didn’t know why. He just had this feeling to take Anika’s hand and starts dancing, but he was concern on what she will think if he asks her for dance. After thinking so much he at last decided to ask her.
Shivaay: Anika, would you like to have a dance with me?
