Hi guys… Its Asmita…
I am trying to write One Shot ever for this show… Plz do read, if possible…

This OS clicked in my mind after watching yesterday’s episode… so my OS will continue after that only…
Dev pleads to God not to destroy the happiness of his family… he remembers how Ishu is taking care of Sona coz of this only… Dev asks God to make this wish true… He is ready to sacrifice his self respect for this happiness…
Dev comes to his room ooooppsss sorry their room… where he finds Sona sleeping peacefully with a smile on her face… Dev feels sad looking at her… He goes and sits near to her and caresses herhair…
Dev (to himself) –Kitni pyari lag rahi ho tum sote hue… kitni khush ho tum… ye khushi abhi bhi tumhare chehre par jhalak rahi hai…

Aaj maa ko tumhare sath dekh kar mujhe esa laga, jese aaj meri family puri ho gayi ho… main janta hoon ki tumhe bhi esa hi lag raha hoga… kitna intezaar tha tumhe is pal ka ki kab maa tumhe man se apnayengi… aur dekho aaj wo din aa hi gaya… aaj maa ko mujhse jyada tumhari fikr hai… aaj pehli baar mujhe kisi aur ke sath baatne ko taiyaar ho gayi, wo bhi apni marzi se… main janta hoon ki maa ne tumhe sirf meri khushi ke liye hi accept kiya tha… par wo tumhe apna hi kahan payi thi… par aaj jab maa ne tumhe “HUMARI SONA” kaha to laga ki isse jyada mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye…
Kitni khush ho tum ye jan kar ki tum maa banne wali ho…
(tears roll out from his eyes)
Par mujhe bahot darr lag raha hai… kal jab sach sabke saamne aayega, tab main kya karunga… kese sambhalunga main tumhe aur maa ko… kya maa sach jan kar bhi tumhare sath wese hi pyar karegi jesa aaj kiya… yaa phir wo tumse………. Nahi… main esa soch bhi nahi sakta…
Kya karun… kuch samajh nahi aa raha… feeling so helpless…

Just thn Sona gets up…
Sona – Dev… aap soye nahi abhi tak ?
Dev(wipes his tears) – bas sone hi jar aha tha…
Sona(smiles) – pata hai mujhe… aapko bhi excitement ki wajah se nind nahi aa rahi hogi na….
Dev(smiles with difficulty) – hmmm…
Sona rests on his shoulder.
Sona – pata hai Dev… is pal ka maine kitna intezaar kiya hai… ki maa mujhe dil se apnaye… aur aaj maa mujhse baat kar rahi thi… itne haq se mujhe “MERI BAHU… MERI SONA”…aur aapke liye baba se “AAPKA DAMAD”… keh rahi thi… aap andaza bhi nahi laga sakte ki main kithni khush hui thi ye sun kar…
Mujhe pata hai jab ek lady ek bachche ko janam deti hai… tabhi wo maa banti hai… par is bachche ne to (she keeps her hand on her stomach)… mujhe maa banne se pehle… beti bana diya… Maa mujhe humesha hi aapki patni manti aayi hai… par aaj unhone mujhe apni beti maan liya… isse jyada khushi ki baat aur kya ho sakti hai…
(she gets emotional… Dev is again getting teary eyes… he does not know what to say, how to react… he does not utter a single word)
Sona – Dev…
No reply…
Sona – Dev…
No reply…

Sona(loudly) – Dev…
Dev(comes back to his senses) – haan… bolo…
Sona(with fake anger) – main itni der se bole ja rahi hoon…aapne kuch suna ya nahi…
Dev(fake smile) – tumhe kya lagta hai… maine is din ka intezaar nahi kiya, jab maa tumhe dil se apna le… main bhi bahot khush hoon…
(by saying this he kisses her on her forehead)
Dev – ab so jaao… wese bhi aaj tum bahot thak gayi hongi…
Sona – mujhe to khushi kw mare nind hi nahi aayegi…
Dev – par sona to hoga… warna maa mujhe dantegi ki maine unki bahu ko aaram se sone nahi diya… unki bahu ka dhyan nahi rakha…
Sona(giggles) – haaaaaaaaawww… aap jealous feel kar rahe hain ?
Dev(fake anger) – tumhe esa lagta hai ?
Sona – uuuummmm… socho agar main esi wali wife hoti to……
Both laugh… Dev makes her sleep… but he is not able to sleep… uski aankhon se nind koso door thi…

Next morning –
Dev takes Sona for pregnancy test. Doctor tells report will come in the evening.
Dev and Sona come back to home.
Dev – Sona, main office ja raha hoon… sham ko aate hue report leta aaunga…
Sona – reports lene main bhi chalungi…
Dev – tum ghar par aaram karo
(He does not want her to get hurt by knowing the truth)
Sona – par Dev…
Ishu – sahi to keh raha hai Dev… mujhe to pata hi hai ki report main kya hai… aur Sona beta, ab tumhe apna khayal rakhna chahiye… tum ghar par hi aaram karo… report Dev layega…
Dev – achcha maa. Main office ke liye niklta hoon…
Dev touches Ishu’s feet and leaves… but he does not go to office… instead of the office, he again goes to the doctor…
Dev meets doctor and tells her about only 7% chances of pregenancy… Dev asks her to lie about Sona’s report… and asks her to make the report positive… but Doctor does not agree for false report as it is completely unethical and not right too…

Dev argues with her… request her… but all in vein…
Dev leaves from there… goes to some unknown place and sits silently, completely lost… He sits there for hours… He is not in his senses until his phone rings… he just see the caller’s name…
The caller is his LIFE… his WIFIE… his PRECIOUS… his MISS KHARGOSH…

Firstly he wants to avoid the call but suddenly he thinks what if Sona already collected the report from the doctor… he gets scared… With much difficulty he picks up the phone… he hears his desperate Sona…
Sona – Dev… kahan hain aap?
Dev(with fear) – kyun… kya hua…
Sona – aap to aise bol rahe hain… jese aapko nahi pata ki kya hua…
Dev(gets more afraid) – kya nahi pata…
Sona(hits her head) – mr. Dixit… tumi ekdom boka…
Dev(confused) – kya…
Sona – aapne report collect ki ya nahi…
Dev(sigh of relief) – oh… to tum reports ki baat kar rahi ho…
Sona – to… aapko kya laga ?
Dev – kuch nahi…
Sona(feels something) – Dev… aap thik to hain na ?
Dev(hides his emotion) – mujhe kya hoga… main to bilkul perfect hoon…tum pareshan mat hona… main reports lekar aa jaunga…
(by saying this he cut the call)
He does not understand how to face the upcoming storm in his life… no in their life… he is left with no way to stop this… what will he do now… what will happen to Sona when she comes to know the truth… and what about…
So many questions are running in his mind without any answer…

After sometime… when he finally feels that he can not escape from this difficult situation and the only solution is to face it… he moves with much difficulty as he is having tons of weight on his heart…
He reaches to hospital but does not want to go inside… but who cares what he is feeling… he gets a call from doctor that reports have come… now he has to go and face the bitter truth which he already knows…
He walks like a dead person, goes to Doctor’s cabin, collects the report and without speaking a word… turns and leaves…
Doc – Mr. Dixit…
But there is no one to listen.
Dev in his car… going to home… it is the first time, he does not want to go home… he wish to stuck in traffic or somewhere sothat he can make the delay with a proper excuse… but of no use… it looks like everybody on the earth wants him to reach home soon… he is driving without noticing the road… he randomly searches the new road… but finally he reaches to the final destination…
He wish not to see anyone… but he knows the fact that everyone is waiting for him… he has no courage to face them… he enters in the house… and everybody looking at him as if they are seeing him for the first time…

And he… THE DEV DIXIT, Business Tycoon… can not bear this… it is very hard for him to hold his tears… he knows that everything is going to shatter in next few seconds… and he has no way to stop this storm…
The happiness he saw on his lovely wife’s face and on his mother’s face will be ruined. He wants time to stop but he is nothing but a human being only… what he can do is nothing, just to face the fact…
He slowly comes in… and suddenly Nikki snatches the reports and runs…
Dev(shouts) – Nikki….
Ishu –Nikki… jaldi bata… report mein kya hai… wese to mujhe pata hi hai… par phir bhi taslli ke liye bata de…
Nikki reads the reprts and goes blank… Everybody looks at her shockingly… Dev sits on sofa as there is nothing left inside him…

Radha Rani – Are nikki beta… jaldi bol na… kya likha hai is banga….. mera matlab hai… bahu rani ki report mein…
Nikki(stammers) – wo……..
Dev knows what will happen now… he is trying to get the courage to face this situation but not getting success…
Mamaji – are… bata bhi de ab…
Just then Riya pulls the report and reads out loudly…
Riya – main……. BUAAAAAAAAAAAAA… banne wali hoon………
All are happy…
Ishu – Mujhe to pata hi tha… par tum sabo mujh par bharosa hi nahi tha… ab to taslli mil gayi na… ye nikki bhi na… dara deti hai, kabhi kabhi…
(ishu hits nikki lovingly)
Nikki – yaar… thoda suspense to banta hain na maa…
And what about Dev…Dev is busy in looking at Riya with widely opened mouth…

Dev (in his mind) –ye kese ho sakta hai ? mujhe to pata hai ki reports negative hi aane wali hai… to phir ye positive kese ho gayi ? kahin Docor ne meri baat to anhi maan li ? par wo to mana kar rahi thi. Phir kese? Kahin ye report galat to nahi hai ? ya phir kisi aur ki report ke sath exchange to nahi ho gayi ?
Dev is going mad with all these questions. He cant bare it anymore. He goes out when all are busy in celebrating the happiness. He calls the doctor.
Dev – Doctor… Sonakshi ki reports positive kese aa sakti hai ? ye to possible hi nahi hai…aur aapne bhi to mana kar diya tha ki aap kuch bhi unethical nahi karengi, phir aap kese maan gayi ? aapne mujhe bataya bhi nahi ? kahin esa to nahi ki Sonakshi ki reports kisi aur ki reports se exchange ho gayi ho?aapko pata hai… main kitna pareshan tha?
Doc – ek minute, mr. Dixit… mujhe bolne ka mauka to dijiye… Dekhiye mr. Dixit… jo report maine aapko di hai… won a to galat hai aur na hi kisi se exchange hui hai aur maine bhi koi galat kaam nahi kiya.
Dev(shocked) – phir ?????
Doc – sonakshi is really pregnant.
Dev(hell shocked) – what ?

Doc – you told that there are only 7% chances of her pregnancy but you never know ki kab kya ho jaye… yes mr. Dixit… Sonakshi is pregnant… you are going to be father soon…
Dev – aap sach keh rahi hain doctor ? aap mazak to nahi kar rahi ?
Doc – mr. Dixit… ye baat to main aapko tabhi batana chahti thi jab aap reports lene aaye the, maine aapko awaz bhi di thi par aapne suni hi nahi… aap bina kuch bole sune, chupchap chale gaye…
Dev – sorry doctor… and thanks… aap nahi janti ki aaj aapne mujhe, meri family ko kitni badi khushi di hai…
Doc – your welcome, mr. Dixit.
Dev cuts the call. He gets teary eyes again but this time these tears are showing his happiness… he is feeling so relieved, so lively as he felt never before… he is feeling like a free bird which just came out of its cage…
He looks at the sky and thnks God for listening him for the first time…
He runs inside the house and lifts HIS PRECIOUS in his arms to give him the most precious gift of his life… Finally he is really happy…
He then holds hand of his wife and mother and moves towards Shiva’s idol… Ishu is hell shocked seeing her son folding hands infront of God (she does not know what happened yesterday night)… she is overwhelmed… she thanks God and hugs Dev and this time hugs Sona too…
Finally the family is a COMPLETE FAMILY…
Now Dev can feel this happiness from the bottom of his heart… now he can enjoy the feeling of being father in real without any fear.

Happy ending…

Haaassshhh… finally its done… this is the first time I wrote this much in one go… I thought to write a small OS… but when I started it seems like never ending… thn I thought to convert it into two shots or three shots but then I decides to write this in one go… literally it was very difficult for me write this much at a time… but I did it…
Now… plzzzzzzzzzz tell me whether you guys like it or not…
