Govil will be representing the Meerut constituency, his hometown, marking a significant transition from his illustrious acting career to politics. Taking to social media, Govil shared his reaction to the news and conveyed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Election Committee for the opportunity.
In a tweet, the actor expressed his appreciation for being chosen as a candidate for the elections and pledged to give his utmost effort to serve the people.
