Nyssa anxiously asks everyone at home about her mother, Gayatri, saying she wants to see her. Isha tries to distract her with a special milkshake she made but forgot to mention. However, Nyssa insists on knowing where her mother is and questions why no one is telling her anything. Ragini tells her that Gayatri has gone away for work for a few days. Nyssa asks why her mother left without informing her. Isha then takes Nyssa upstairs and puts her to sleep. Later, Om enters the room, and Isha asks him to lower his voice so Nyssa doesn’t wake up. Isha says what happened wasn’t right. Om replies that it was inevitable and at least everyone now knows Gayatri’s truth. Isha agrees the truth needed to come out but disagrees with the way things turned out, adding that regardless of what Gayatri did, she’s still a mother and Nyssa needs her. Om refuses to continue the discussion.
The next morning, Isha drops Nyssa to school. At the gate, Mala tells Isha she found out from Gayatri’s assistant that Gayatri is staying at a nearby hotel called Saloni. Nyssa, who has come out to hug Isha, overhears this conversation. After Isha and Mala leave, she walks away from school in search of the hotel. As she walks, she becomes tired and thirsty and realizes she has no money to return home. At a lemon water stall, another child’s mother kindly buys her a drink. When asked why she’s alone, Nyssa says she’s looking for her mother at a nearby hotel.
Meanwhile, Isha tells Jagdish that Nyssa needs her mother, no matter what happened. Jagdish agrees and asks Isha to look after Nyssa for a few days. Om suggests taking Nyssa to the fair that evening to cheer her up. However, when they arrive at school, they find out Nyssa is missing. CCTV footage reveals she left in the morning. The family begins searching for her in panic. Some goons find Nyssa, ask her where she’s going, and trick her by promising to take her to her mother before abducting her. Dhruv almost hits her with his car, but when he sees the situation, he intervenes and pretends to go along with the men. Isha urges Dhruv to help since he has many contacts. After seeing Nyssa’s photo, Dhruv instructs Isha to come immediately. Together with Om, he fights the goons and rescues Nyssa.
Back home, they receive another shock—Garima calls Jagdish and informs him that Gayatri has consumed poison and is in the hospital.
