Rakhi Sawant recently attended a cancer awareness event in Pune with her new boyfriend Adil. Rakhi got trolled by many for being overdressed for the event.
Rakhi was wearing a dazzling red lehenga accessorized with a shiny crown on her head. She was also wearing heavy jewelry along with her outfit.
While talking to paps, she said, “50,000 pound ka mera yeh lehenga hai. Itna heavy hai jitna building ka vazan hota hai, utna heavy hai. And aaj hum showstopper hain…I don’t know kya hone wala hai.”
Some of the users missed the fact that Rakhi was dressed to be a show stopper, and that the cancer awareness initiative was a fashion event where Rakhi was invited for a ramp walk. The netizens trolled her for being overdressed for the event.
One user wrote, “Looks like she is attending a marriage ceremony. Another user commented, “Cancer awareness ke liye itna sajke!” One of the netizens wrote, “Cancer awareness initiative pe jaa rhi hai dekh ke to nhi lag rha.”
Amidst all this, there were others who came to Rakhi’s defense. One of them clarified, “There is a fashion show to collect money for cancer patients may be.. as she says she is a show stopper.”
