Rakhi Sawant is a name which needs no introduction. She has been a part of the entertainment industry for a very long time now and has become a household name. Today in a live chat with her fans on social media, she informed her followers that her mother has been diagnosed with brain tumor. She is admitted to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai.
In a teary-eyed state, Rakhi said, “I came out of the Bigg Boss house last night and I really need everyone’s blessings. Mom is not well. She is in the hospital. Please pray for her.”
She added, “Nobody informed me in the Bigg Boss house that she is not well. I did not know she had been hospitalised. My mom has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.”
Her fans sent prayers her way when they found out that the situation is critical and prayers do wonders. She was given immense moral support from her followers on social media.
Several fans took to the comments section to wish Rakhi’s mother a speedy recovery. A netizen wrote, “Praying she will be fine soon. Don’t worry, Rakhi.” Another internet user shared, “Stay strong Rakhi ji…our prayers are with you.”
In April 2021, Rakhi’s mother underwent a surgery for removal of tumor in her gallbladder which had turned cancerous. Her treatment was funded by Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his brother Sohail. Now again she is suffering from cancer. May she have a speedy recovery and find a way to win life.
