Rajev Paul who shot to fame with his role in the popular daily soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is breaking bad once again for the show Sasural Simar Ka 2. After essaying positive roles in several shows, Rajev is all set to essay a deadly villain in Sasural Simar Ka 2. His character Giriraj kills his brother Gajendra and this has been evoking a serious reaction from the audience.
During a recent interview with BT, Rajev talked about it and shared, “I am glad that people are reacting to it strongly, which means that the story has made a difference. I have got many angry reactions from viewers for my character and I take that as a compliment.”
Rajev feels that life has come full circle for him. He says, “When I was doing Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, I got this kind of a response, which was very fulfilling as an actor. After many years now something similar has happened. So I feel like life has come full circle for me.”
When asked if he feels that he didn’t get powerful roles like this one in recent years? He says, “Every run counts in the cricket field. Similarly, when I look back at my career, every role may not have given me that high or adulation like these roles, but it still took me forward in my journey. Every road that you travel takes you somewhere. All these other roles I played helped me hone my craft. In life, every time there are highs, there are bound to be lows, too. But these lows help you spring back with renewed energy.”
