Rajev Paul, who was last seen in the show Jiji Maa is all set to be a part of Sasural Simar Ka 2. His previous show ended last year during the lockdown. Rajeev has already returned to the sets after almost a year. Talking about him playing a negative role in In an interview with BT he said, “I am playing a negative role after years. Even in my last show I was a good guy. There’s nothing wrong with playing a positive character but sometimes it gets boring, with all due respect to other actors who playing good guys. I feel that one should stand out in a show with their role. Of course it all depends on the opportunities you get. I’m happy to have got this opportunity. This is the first time I will be sporting a bearded look. People will see a new me on this show. There’s romance, revenge, emotions and everything possible in this show. The previous season did well and went on for a long time and I am grateful to be part of this one.”
Rajeev further adds, “We are shooting in Agra. We came here in March and after the recent restrictions, the entire crew shifted here. It feels like we are in a bio bubble kind of an arrangement. We are currently living in a resort and our shooting location is at the same place. It’s safe and saves travel time. The storyline is such that the families are rich, so we could shoot here in a resort.”
There is an advantage in shooting outside Mumbai, he said. “I feel in such outdoor locations we actors bond better and the work is less hectic,”
