“A dark room is shown. Suddenly we hear a sound of slap and a girl falls on the floor with a thud. She winces in pain which can be heard as a mere whisper. Her face is completely red with slap marks. Her eyes are swelled due to continuous crying. She is looking so tired and weak. She is looking at the person who slapped her with fear, pain, hate and disgust. The person comes on to her and starts forcing himself on her while the girl just keeps shouting in pain as she is really weak and tired that she could not even resist.”
Suddenly Ragini wakes up from her sleep with a jerk sweating badly and tears flowing continuously from her eyes. Fear and pain is clearly visible on her face and her eyes are continuously releasing tears. Ansh who was sleeping hugging her also wakes up due to the jerk and looks at his mother who is all sweating and crying badly and fear clearly visible in her eyes. She is breathing heavily and trying herself to control her fear. He understood that his mother saw some bad dream like everyday and immediately sits in her lap and cups her face with little hands.
Ansh: (cupping her face and making her to see him) mumma see it is just bad dream. Look at me mumma I am beside you. Nothing had happened.
Ragini looks at her son who is so innocent and immediately hugs him crying loudly while Ansh also starts tearing seeing his mumma crying. His tears make her shoulder wet making her realise that he is also crying. She immediately stops crying and breaks the hug.
Ragini: (wiping his tears and cups his face) shh..shh… Bacha stop crying see mumma isn’t crying. Stop bacha stop crying (a tear again escapes from her eye which she immediately wipes.)
Ansh: (cupping her face) mumma did you get same bad dream again.
Ragini nods yes with teary eyes.
Ansh: don’t worry mumma your chotu is there na he will not let anyone to harm you. Your chotu will protect you.
Ragini: (hugs him) My chotu I love you.
Ansh: I love you too mumma (he kisses her forehead and gets from her lap and holds her shoulder and makes her to lay on bed)
Ragini: (spreading her arms) chotu
Ansh hugs and lays beside her. Ragini kisses his forehead lovingly
Ansh: (keeps his hands on her eyes and closes them) now sleep mumma.
Ragini nods and hugs Ansh tightly and Ansh also sleeps.

Next day morning Ragini comes out of her room holding Ansh in her arms. She is wearing a blue colour salwar kameez. Her hairs left open and a small bindi in the middle of her eyebrows. She wore a small chain with letter ‘A’ and a pair of hangings to her ears.
Mohit and Uttara looks at her surprised.
Mohit: (surprised) di are you going somewhere? I mean you got ready.
Ragini who is serving food in the plate looks at him and nods yes.
Ragini: (feeding Ansh) to interview.
Mohit: (shocked and gets up from his chair) what!!! But you told just yesterday…
Ragini: (nods) yes I told you yesterday but I was searching for the job from a week ago. And once I received a call for interview I asked you.
Mohit: (angry) when you already decided what is the need to ask me di?
Uttara: (tensed) Mohit calm down
Mohit: (glares her and she just becomes silent and to Ragini) you could have directly join the job and then inform me.
Ragini keeps silent as she knows that he is just worried for her and the anger he is showing now on her is to stop her from attending interview as he thinks that she does not have any need of doing any job. But now she has decided that she wants to be independent. She wants to make a career which was spoiled years ago. She wants her son to be proud seeing his mother independent. She wants herself to take care of her son. And on the other hand Mohit is not against her independence. He is very much worried about her and he does not want anything to happen to her again for which she is suffering from years.
Mohit: (calming himself) I am sorry di I was just worried for you
Ragini just nods her head and continues feeding Ansh.
Ragini: (wipes his mouth) chotu go bring your bag till then mumma will make your lunch box ready ok.
Ansh: ok mumma
Saying this he runs away. Ragini starts serving breakfast for herself.
Mohit: which company di?
Ragini: Maheshwari Companies.
Mohit: post?
Ragini: PA of Sanskar Maheshwari.
Mohit nods and leaves from there.
Uttara: (keeps her hand on her shoulder) di I am sorry on his behalf.
Ragini: (smiles weakly) Uttu he is my brother though we are not blood related but we both are related by hearts. I know the reason of his anger. So you don’t need to apologize to me.
Ansh and Mohit come out of the rooms at a time.
Mohit: di chalo I will drop you
Ragini: no I… (Interrupted)
Mohit: no more arguments
Ragini sighs and nods ok.
Ragini takes the lunch box and keeps in Ansh’s bag. She takes her bag and they are about to go but stopped by Uttara.
Uttara: di you are going to start your career after years of sorrows. All the very best di and I know my di will definitely become strong mother to her son and make him feel proud of his mother. Here have this curd and sugar this will be helpful for a good start for your future.
Saying this she feeds curd and sugar. Ragini smiles through tears in her eyes.
Uttara: wait a minute I will keep this inside and come we will leave.
Ragini: Inform Kamala kaki that we are leaving she is in kitchen only.
Uttara smiles. After a few minutes she comes back and they all leave. First they reach Ansh’s school.
Ansh: (hugs Ragini and kisses her cheek) All the best mumma. Love you.
Ragini: (kisses his forehead) love you too bacha. Don’t fight with anyone. Finish the whole lunch ok.
Ansh nods and goes inside the school running waving bye to UttMoh.
Later they dropped Uttara near her office. When Maheshwari office is a lane distance.
Ragini: (suddenly) stop Mohit.
Mohit: (applies break suddenly due to her sudden shout) what happened di?
Ragini: I will go from here.
Mohit: di
Ragini: please Mohit
Mohit sighs and nods ok. Ragini gets down from the car. She is tensed. She looks around, closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. Mohit looks at her being worried. Ragini starts walking towards the office.
Mohit follows her after she goes a little distance so that she doesnot doubt him. He is following her at that time his mobile rings.
Mohit: (in call) yup I am coming (he answers after listening to the other side)
Saying this he gives a last glance to Ragini and drives away.
Ragini: (while walking) don’t loose your confidence Ragini. You can do it. It is just an interview, you just need to answer for the questions they ask. You should do it. You need to make your son proud. You should be his inspiration. (Her thoughts get interrupted by a sudden pull)….

Sanskar is going into the office when he noticed a girl crossing the road who is lost in her thoughts. He then saw a car arriving very fast. He immediately runs towards her and pulles her towards him resulting both the girl and Sanskar to fall on the floor. Ragini who felt a sudden pull in the fear of falling down closes her eyes tightly. Ragini is beneath while Sanskar is on her. Ragini is closing her eyes tightly in fear while Sanskar is completely lost in her innocent, beautiful, cute face. Her hair flicks which are on her face are disturbing his view. He removes it slowly from her face and places them back of her ear. Ragini sensing this opens her eyes and both their eyes met. They both are lost in each other’s eyes. SwaLak who saw Sanskar running follow him and saw the scene.
SwaLak: (looks at each other, then at RagSan and again each other. They start grinning widely and says at a time) Bhabhi mil gayi
They both go towards RagSan.
SwaLak: (fake cough) ahem ahem.
Listening to the sound both RagSan comes out of their dream world where only they both were existed.
Sanskar immediately gets up from her and helps her to get up and pick her file which fell down.
Sanskar: are you ok?
Ragini: (looks at him and nods yes and says) thank you.
Sanskar: (mesmeried by her voice and smiles brightly) pleasure is all mine
Saying this he just moves into the office while SwaLak looked at him and Ragini and then ran back of Sanskar.
Laksh: bhai listen
Sanskar: ha lucky.
Swara: why do I smell that we got bhabhi?
Sanskar: (looks at them in disbelief) you both are unbelievable.
Laksh: oh please bhai you were staring at her like you would eat her.
Swara: and you know you were smiling like an idiot.
Sanskar glares her.
Swara: (bites her tongue) sorry.
Sanskar: if your bakbak is over shall we go to our works.
SwaLak: boring
And leaves from there. Sanskar smiles and nods his head in disbelief and moves into his cabin.
After an hour Sanskar is completely busy in taking interviews and SwaLak who are doing work are grinning widely. (Hmm why are they grinning????)
Ragini is sitting outside Sanskar’s cabin and praying while SwaLak looking at her grinning widely. (So this is the reason behind their grin)
Laksh: hmm what do you think will bhabhi get the job?
Swara: (biting her nails in tension) don’t know Lucky even I am tensed.
Ragini’s name is called as she is the last candidate. She goes inside while SwaLak are looking at the cabin door enthusiastically.
Ragini enters into the cabin after taking his permission. Sanskar looks up from the file which he is reading and once again gets lost in her beauty and innocent face. But he could see some pain in her eyes which he noticed at the time he saved her few minutes ago. The pain in her eyes is giving pinching sensation in his heart. All he wants is to remove that pain and see only happiness in her eyes. Ragini moves towards his table.
Ragini: good morning sir.
Sanskar: (smiles) good morning Miss.
Ragini: (smiles) Ragini
Sanskar: you may have your seat Miss. Ragini.
Ragini nods and sits and the interview starts. Sanskar gets quite impressed by the way she answered all the questions.
Sanskar: (offers his hand for shake hand) congratulations Miss. Ragini you are selected. Hope you do your best.
Ragini: (smiles brightly) thank you so much sir. I promise that you will not have any complaint on my work.
Sanskar: (smiles) and cross the road carefully.
Ragini: (smiles) thanks for the help sir
Sanskar: (smiles) wait a minute (saying this he calls someone and after a few minutes a person enters into the cabin)
Sanskar: Miss. Ragini he is Karan he will tell you about your work.
Ragini nods and sees the person and they both gets shocked seeing each other.
Karan: (shocked and happy) Ragu.
Ragini: Karan
Karan immediately hugs her with tears in his eyes while Sanskar’s eyes become wide seeing the scene infront of him. He clenches his fist and takes a deep breath to control his anger seeing Karan hugging Ragini.
Sanskar: (cold voice) Karan I think this is office and you are in my cabin.
Karan breaks the hug and wipes his tears.
Karan: sorry sir
Ragini: sorry sir
Sanskar: (cold voice) go to the work.
RagKar nod and come out of the cabin while Sanskar hits the table with anger.
Sanskar: (in mind) how would they both know each other? What would be the relation between them? I saw happiness in her eyes when she saw him. Even she hugged him. Ahh…
He says frustratedly and drinks a glass of water and calms himself.
Outside both SwaLak saw Ragini coming out with Karan and immediately hug each other happily realising that she got the job.
Laksh: chalo let us make friendship with bhabhi.
Swara: idiot stop saying bhabhi bhabhi ok
Laksh: (pouts) but why?
Swara: (looks up and dramatically) why me god? (Looks at him) Idiot if you address her as bhabhi. She will not even look at your face thinking you to be some mad. Then think how will you make her your bhabhi.
Laksh: (keeps his hands around her shoulder) oh my chipkali being with me you became so smart.
Swara: (hits his hand, he jerks and takes the hand away) you and smart haha good joke. Now chalo we should make friendship with her.
Laksh nods with a pout and they both move towards Ragini.
Karan: what yaar Ragu where were you? You know how much I missed you?
Ragini: (teary eyes) even I missed you Karan. I am so happy to see you again after these many years.
Their talk gets interrupted as SwaLak come there.
Laksh: Karan
Karan: oh Lucky she is Ragini new PA of…
Laksh: bhai right
Karan nods.
Laksh: (forwards his hand) hi I am Laksh you can call me Lucky. And this is chipkali (swara hits him) ouch chipkali
Swara: shut up bandar… Hi I am swara.
Ragini shakes her hand with both SwaLak.
Laksh: woh Ragini ji
Ragini: you can call me as Ragini
Laksh: (innocently) but mom always says that we should not call elders with names. And if we call them with name also we should keep ‘ji’ after their name as it shows respect towards them.
Swara and Karan looks at him with open mouth.
Ragini: (smiles) hmm if that is the case you can call me di
Laksh: (jumps on her and hugs her) thank you di.
Karan: (hits Laksh’s head) abey if you want to call her di you can directly say it instead of doing this fake innocent drama.
Laksh: (innocently) drama do you think this is all drama… Don’t you know how sanskari boy I am?
Swara: oh god how much drama you will do? Shut up Laksh
Laksh: (irritated) chipkali you better shut up.
SwaLak started to fight. Listening their shouts Sanskar comes out of his cabin and finds they both fighting and whole staff looking at them like two jokers entertaining them.
Sanskar: (angrily) what is going on here?
They both immediately stop and look at him holding each other’s hands.
SwaLak: sorry bhai
Sanskar: (coldly) get back to work now.
They nod and run to their places. While Karan holds Ragini’s hand and drags her to his place. Sanskar fumes seeing him holding her hand. He clenches his fist and goes into his cabin back while SwaLak looks at his disappearing figure as they could not figure out the reason behind his anger. They both shrug their hands and again runs to Ragini who is listening to Karan, who is telling her about the work.
Swara: di chalo (she drags her holding her hand without even saying anything)
Ragini: arey swara where are you taking me?
Karan: shona listen now if sir comes he will definitely fire me yaar please let me do my work please.
Swara: (stops) Karan why fear when shona is here.
Laksh: now you will act like lioness when bhai gives you one glare you will become cat. Stop over acting and let them do their work and come with me we should do our work. We need to complete a file now.
He drags swara. Ragini calls and informs Mohit about her job while he inturn informs her that he will pick her in the evening. Later Ragini and Karan get back to their work.
Like this the day passes and Sanskar gets impressed by Ragini’s work. Ragini felt really comfortable because of Karan’s presence and even SwaLak entertained her a lot during lunch with their fights. They bound well within a short period of time. Ragini felt happy that finally she is going to be independent and could take care of her son without anybody’s help.
Evening she reached home through bus. And immediately rushed to her room only to see her life sleeping peacefully hugging her photograph. She goes towards bed and sits beside him. She caresses his hair lovingly and kisses his forehead. She goes to fresh up and comes back only to find Mohit standing in her room folding his hands to his chest.
Ragini: Mohit when did you come?
Mohit: (ignoring her question) Didn’t I tell you that I will pick you?
Ragini: voh..voh… Mohit
Mohit: di please I am here worried for you and you are doing whatever you want. Why don’t you listen atleast once to me?
Ragini: what is the mistake I committed? I just came home by bus. What is the big deal in it?
Mohit: di I am just worried for you. You know na it has been 5years you went some where alone.
Ragini: (holds his hands in her hands) Mohit I am really fine. Ha I know I never went alone anywhere in these five years. I want to be independent. I want to be inspiration to Ansh. I want to be his super mom. I want him to be proud of his mother. For all these things I should be brave. And main thing is that I want to make my Ansh brave. You know right he is afraid of darkness. And he gets afraid if he is alone. And I just want to make him strong in all the aspects and make him brave. For that I should be brave only then I can be able to teach my son. He should not feel that he does not have his father so he is not brave. Please Mohit just help me to achieve this big goal of my life. Please. (A tear escapes from her eye)
Mohit immediately hugs her and pats her head.
Mohit: ok di your wish. But atleast let me drop you in the morning everyday please.
Ragini: (sighs) ok but you will drop me where you dropped me today ok
Mohit: ok
Ragini: (happily) and Mohit you know what today I met Karan after many years.
Mohit: (smiles) I am so happy di that you met your best friend after these many years. (He kisses her forehead) and please always be smiling and happy like this. Today you know I saw a new happiness in your face. I hope this happiness stays with you forever.
Ragini smiles weakly.
Ansh: (rubbing his eyes) mumma
Ragini turns towards him and smiles. She goes towards him and lifts him in her arms.
Ragini: so my chotu aren’t you hungry?
Ansh nods yes vigorously.
Ragini: then let us have your favorite sandwich.
Ansh nods yes vigorously again and kisses Ragini cheek.
Mohit: I will go fresh and come di.
Ragini nods. Mohit leaves while RagAnsh go to have Ansh’s favorite sandwich.

Sanskar reached home frustrated while SwaLak are very happy to know that Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari is jealous because the girl whom he liked at first sight is close to somebody. They understood that he is irritated with RagKar closeness. Here Sanskar is cursing himself to appoint Karan to help her.
Sanskar is doing some work in his room. But he could not concentrate on the work as the only scene coming in his mind is RagKar hug. He keeps his laptop in the table and lays on the bed. He closes his eyes to sleep but again RagKar hug comes in front of his eyes making him to open his eyes with a jerk.
Sanskar: (to himself) why that hug is effecting me? Why their closeness is making me angry? Why?
Are the only questions making him sleepless. He is looking so frustrated. Suddenly he remembers their encounter in the morning and a smile comes on his face. Thinking about Ragini he slowly doses off.
SwaLak are already making plans to make RagSan together. Though they saw RagKar closeness but they know that it is just as friendship because they know the biggest secret that Karan is already engaged to his love Kajal.

RagAnsh are lying on the bed and Ragini is singing lullaby for Ansh. He slept peacefully hugging his mother. While Ragini starts thinking her past and doses off with tears in her eyes.
