Recap : ragini ill. She finds a job at café. Laksh taking care of ragini during her illness. Laksh visiting ragini café. Laksh jealous seeing his friends lusting over ragini. Laksh determines to save ragini from her suffering.
Laksh determines to give all the respect to ragini that she deserves. Suddenly he gets a call. It is from his lawyer. He informs him about his divorce which is to be granted in two months. He also said that since your wife doesn’t claim any alimony you are free from all the monetary losses. He says that after two months everything will be back to normal and he can live his life freely. Saying so he cuts the call.
After hearing this laksh goes into a dilemma whether he can proceed with the divorce or not. He is confused about his decision. He doesn’t know what he wants? Whether he wants to divorce ragini or proceed with his marriage?
Lak (in mind) : now what todo? I’m really confused. Whatever it is. I’m clear about one thing . what may come? Hereafter ragini should not work in that café . I wanna ask her to resign the job immediately.
Determined to speak with ragini he left the place and comes out of his room and reaches the hall. After reaching the hall he finds the whole mansion decorated with flowers . that’s when he realized that it is swara’s godhbaarai today. his eyes searches for ragini and finds her busy with all the preparations while other ladies are buying clothes. He finds ragini is not participating in any shopping and is just serving tea and snacks for others like a servant. He felt a severe pain in his heart seeing her condition and felt angry at himself for all his ignorance towards her in the past four months. After sometime ragini completed all her works and left for her room while laksh sat with the ladies who are selecting dresses. He finds a beautiful sky blue lehenga (the one deepika wears in indiawale song in happy new year movie) and thought that ragini will look gorgeous in that and decided to buy it for her. He asks the seller for the price and buys it while everyone questions for whom did he buy it? But laksh ignores their questions and left with the lehanga to his room. After entering his room he started making the plan of how to give the lehanga to ragini as he very well know she would never accept it from him.
Next day:
It is swara godhbarai day. The rasam has started and all the ladies were doing arti of swara and all the men are at corner. Laksh’s eyes searches for ragini but couldn’t find her anywhere. Swara calls ragini but she denies to come so laksh went in search of ragini. He knocks on her door and finds ragini sitting on her bed and is stirching her clothes manually. Hearing the knock she looks up to find laksh standing at the door step. Laksh enters the room and ragini gets down from the bed facing him.
Lak : ragini come and attend the godhbarai rasam
Rag : I don’t want to attend. I already informed it to swara. You may leave now
Expecting this laksh came up with an immediate excuse
Lak : today lawyer is visiting our home and we have to act in front of him as if we are together. So you have to attend the rasam else he would doubt on us.
Ragini throws a long sigh and says,
Rag : accha teek hai, I’ll come. You may leave now.
Laksh smirked as his plan has worked and forwarded the lehenga to her while ragini looks at him questioningly.
Lak : wear this attend the function
Ragini nodded negative and said
Rag : I won’t
Lak : don’t act childish everyone will be present there . so wear it and come.
But ragini remained adamant and said that she will never wear it. This made laksh furious and throws the lehenga on floor and lights a mathchstick saying “if she doesn’t wear it then no one else will”.
Saying so he was about to burn the lehenga while ragini stops him and says,
Rag : k I’ll wear it but will return it once the rasam is over.
Laksh agrees as he very well now else she won’t wear it.
Laksh waited outside her room while ragini came out wearing the lehenga. She looks breathtakingly beautiful while laksh couldn’t ven take his eyes off her. When she was about to leave laksh notices that she does not wear her sindoor and mangalsutra even noe. He holds her wrist and drags her into the room and makes her sit in front of the mirror.
Rag : laksh what are you doing leave me.
In response laksh kept his finger on her lips and ask her to wait for sometime. After that he left his room and returns back after sometime returns back with the mangalsutra in his hands (the one ragini placed in the store room). He ties it around her neck and fills her maang with sindoor. He is very happy to finally see her in her old avatar as laksh wife while ragini thought that it’s for only namesake to convince the lawyer and the guests.
After that both reached the hall while ragini starts performing swara’s rasam and all gets happy seeing it. Before she completes rasam for swara someone from guests commented that she got married even before swara but still she is not capable to produce a child. They also said that she is unlucky and it can be a bad omen for swara if she does her rasam and starts badmouthing her. Laksh gets hell shocked on hearing it as he very well know that why ragini doesn’t have a child. He gets hell angry when he sees ragini standing there with tears in her eyes without speaking a word and letting others to comment on her. Before he could give his piece of mind swara gave it back to them and ask them to mind their own business. After that the rasam gets completed and everyone started leaving.
@night :
Ragini returns to laksh room to give back the lehenga, mangalsutra and everything which he gave her. He can easily find she is in so much pain so as him but doesn’t know what to say. After keeping all the items on the desk ragini started leaving while laksh called out for her from behind. Agini stop in her tracks but doesn’t turn back as she very well know that he will easily find out that she is in pain if he see her.
Laksh walks up to her and came in face to face with her with their bodies being only inches apart. They both can feel each others breathe. He came closer to her ears and whispered with his hot breah fanning on her,
Lak : hereafter you will not work in that café
Ragini was about to open her mouth to deny when he immediately cuts off her and says,
Lak : after divorce you can do whatever you want but when you are being my wife then you have to maintain some dignity and should act without spoiling the family’s reputation.
Ragini once again heartbroken nodded simply and left the room while laks looked at her with her in pain
Lak (in mind) : I know ragini I have hurt you again but I can’t bear if someone see my wife with lust. I feel like breaking each and every part of their bone back at café but I have controlled myself only for you. I know you won’t accept to leave the job if I say this that’s why I have hurt you once again . I’m sorry.
