Ragini runs into the room getting upset with Laksh’s words. she stands under the shower and cries. Her whole mehendi washes away.
Laksh cleans mehendi on his face and he goes into room. He understands Ragini is in shower. He waits.
She comes out.
‘Ragini, listen to me..’
He was about to say something. Ragini tries to go away ignoring him.
‘Ragini, I said listen to me..!’ he holds her shoulders strongly. But, she closes her eyes.
Laksh: till now you said me many words and I accepted them. But, once.. just once I said you got angry..???
Ragini was silent.
He pulls her closer.
Laksh: I wanted to show you, how painful it was when it hurts. You too hurt me when I was loving you truly. And I wanted to show you that pain..! got it..!!
Ragini: leave me Laksh..!
Laksh holds her even more strongly, ‘I’m trying to tell you this much can’t you understand..??’ he shouts.
Ragini pushes away his hands.
‘No..! I can’t understand anything..! I never understand you and you never understand me..! and whatever you, said is you said with your heart..! I’m fool to love you..!’ shouts Ragini.
Now, Laksh grows rage with her words and holds her arms strongly and pushes her under shower. Now, both are under the shower. Both are getting wet.
Ragini was locked by Laksh against the wall. Both are looking at each other intensely.
Laksh: you are too stubborn..! you won’t get down for words.
Ragini looking at him in rage, ‘leave me..’
Before she completes the words, Laksh places his lips tightly on her lips.
Ragini shocks and opens her eyes wide..!
She tries to take out her hands, but her hands are locked to wall by his hands and her legs are locked by his legs. He was completely leaning to her.
Both are still getting wet in that shower. Ragini starts shivering in that cold water and even Laksh too. But, he didn’t leave her. he was kissing her lips insanely.
If Ragini wants she can push him strongly away but.. she at start tried to protest but later she too reciprocated.
Laksh breaks the kiss taking breath.
‘Now, did you understand..?’ he asks.
‘No..! I didn’t..!’ she says panting.
Then Laksh pulls her into him in anger and locks her in his embrace. He starts kissing her neck.
‘Laksh..stop it plz..’ she says in cracking tone.
Laksh leaves her and she runs out.
Ragini runs and holds the wall of bed closing her eyes trying to control her emotions.
Laksh stands beside her.
Laksh: you are really very stubborn. You never accept feelings for me..!
Ragini: I wanted to accept once. But, I will not accept now. after you said me those words.
Laksh smiles and hugs her from behind.
Laksh: come on, I said them to make you angry and make you understand.
Ragini pulls herself out from his lock.
Ragini: laksh.. I don’t want to understand anything. Just leave me alone..!!
She goes to cupboard, takes her clothes and goes into washroom. Laksh takes sigh and slaps himself.
He while removing his coat,
‘Abey Laksh, you wanted to hug her many times. Accept her back when she was saying sorry… ok, I understand.. u were angry with her at that time. Now, she completely got close to you and why did you said that word..? idiot..! idiot..!!’ he says and slaps his head with pillow..!
Just then Ragini comes out of the washroom with her changed cloths and she silently sleeps on her bed. Laksh sleeping on his bed looks at her,
‘Till how many wars I have to do to get along with her..??’
Here Laksh is thinking like this.
There Ragini who turned otherside leaving tears, ‘Idiot, how can he say me like that..? My feelings as crazy thoughts..? I’m I that cheap to him..? he hurt my feelings..!!’ she thinks and cries holding the pillow tightly.
Next morning,
Marriage celebrations of Uttara are started. Ragini and Laksh acts as cheerful before everyone to make their family and Uttara happy, but.. they are sad within themselves. They didn’t talk with each other.
After the marriage, the bidaai of Uttara is done. Ap cries and Laksh consoles Ap.
Laksh: maa, what maa… you also came from your house to sasural. And, now you sent your daughter. What’s big deal..?
Ap: of course Laksh. It’s a big deal..!
Laksh, Adarsh, Pari and Ragini keeps looking at Ap listening to her.
Ap: what not she sacrifices..? her family, her childhood, her freedom. Laksh, when it’s not that easy to accept this big change that early. She steps into new house where strangers are around. Suddenly from love to responsibilities. Do you know how stress a girl feels at this time..?
Ragini bends her head remembering her day of marriage. When she newly stepped into MM. it was actually a forced marriage for her. she married on emotional blackmail of her parents and dadi. She too felt same as Ap said when she came 1st to that house.
Laksh keeps listening to Ap.
Ap continues,
“Then, how a husband should look after her..? He has to behave as a best friend to her. He has to understand her very patiently. After all, she sacrificed many things for him, can’t he do a small favor to her, ‘accepting her dreams and understanding her’.
Laksh bends his head. He remembers how he forced Ragini on their first night. But, Ragini remembers how later how Laksh was taking care of her.
Adarsh holds Pari’s hand and pari keeps her head on his shoulder.
Ap says,
‘If he really satisfies her dreams, if he really takes care of her making her forget even her previous home, what is he called..? he is definitely a great husband.’
Ragini gets tears in her eyes remembering how Laksh saved her from goons.
Ap: Adarsh, Laksh and Nikil… I hope, you three also take care of your wives like that. and, I wish Uttara’s husband should also be like that..!!
The trio looks on…
Dp comes.
Dp: finished your speech Annapurna..? guys, these girls think they have sacrificed lots of things. But, they never understand what we sacrificed..?
Rp: what did we sacrifice bhayya..?
Dp: it’s our freedom..! we do become slaves after the marriage..!!
All people laugh.
Ragini laughs looking at Laksh. And Laksh laughs then he happens to see Ragini. He stops laughing slowly and they have brief eye lock.
Sujatha: ok, ok.. all go and take rest.
Raglak come out of that eye lock with her shout. All leave to their respective rooms.
Raglak sleeps in their places remembering Ap’s words.
Next morning,
Ragini is eating breakfast in hurry.
Pari: ragini, eat slowly.
Ragini: I’m already late bhabhi. Today I have lab. If I miss it, my psycho madam keeps absent for whole week..!
Laksh who was eating his bf peacefully,
‘Oho, your whole college is filled with psychos just like you..?’
Ragini yells: Mr. Laksh. See your own business..!
Laksh: same to you..!
He gets up from his chair and leaves to car.
Ap: Laksh, drop Ragini in her college as everyday..! did you forget it..?
Ragini: no maa. I will go in bus..!
Ap glares at Ragini. She bends her head and goes with Laksh.
Laksh was driving the car. Ragini was silent. They reach one junction.
‘stop the car.!’ Ragini says politely. She gets down. Laksh keeps looking.
Ragini: I will go to college from here. And you may pick up me from here at evening.
She says and waits in bus stop.
Laksh thinks, ‘very stubborn..!!’ and he goes away.
*collage* *computer lab*
All students are typing programs. But Ragini was typing only letter, ‘L’ lost somewhere. She was remembering their kiss in the shower that night. She blushes.
Then she shocks to see Lecturer is standing beside her. ragini stands saying, ‘Mam..’
Lect: get out..!! this is lab. Not dream land..!
Ragini comes out of lab taking her bag. She was walking in corridor. She happens to stop at a pillar. Where, Laksh kissed her once. She touches that pillar and smiles again.
‘Ragini..!!’ she hears her friends shout.
She turns back. Kavitha and Mansi comes in a run to her.
Mansi: congooo darling..!! this time also you are first in college.
Ragini takes result sheet from her hands. she remembers Laksh’s guidance during her exams.
‘credit goes to him’ she thinks.
Kavitha: Ragini..? what happened..? why are you sad..???
Ragini cries. They take her to canteen. Ragini bursts her whole story out to her friends.
Kavitha: now what’s your problem yar..? you like him, he likes you.
Mansi: are you concerned about the one word he said..? he said that he just said to make you angry right..!
Ragini: so, he has to say sorry at least right. How much ego he has..! I said him sorry many times when I did mistake. But, he… didn’t even once.
Mansi: oh no..! now this ‘sorry’ became big barrier to you..??
Kavitha: childish yar..
Ragini: stand in my place and then say that word..!!
Kav mansi looks on…
*evening*
Ragini was about to leave from college gate but looks Laksh’s car there at entrance. But, he is not there in the car. She happily turns around where is he..?
But, she sees Ap and Laksh are coming from principal’s cabin. Ragini runs to them.
Ap: Ragini..! congratulations again…! You are always college topper..!!
Ragini takes her blessings touching her feet. Then she looks at Laksh. He simply gives shakehand, ‘congo..!’ he says.
Ragini: thanks..!
Ap: we actually came to your college to talk with your principal.
Ragini shocks: why..?
Laksh: princi has suspended you from college..!!
Ragini shocks.
Ap beats Laksh.
Ap: stop kidding Laksh. We came to take permission. You and Laksh are going to trip to Switzerland for one month..!
Ragini excites, ‘swiss..?? really mom..??’
Ap: yes..!!
Rag: but my attendance..? project reports..? seminars..?
Ap: don’t worry. We took all permissions for that.
Rag: but why are we going..?
Laksh: so that we can fight freely there..!!
Ap: laksh…!!
Ragini removes her eyes from Laksh annoyed.
Ap: I will tell everything. Let’s go home first.
Ragini nods her head.
