“Ragini..!!”laksh forwards his hand to pull her towards him but his eyes closed when darkness occupied him.

“Doctor..emergency..!!”
“How does the accident happened..?”
“We don’t know doctor..but it seems like they are newly married..”
“Okay okay..nurse arrange the operation theatre..”

“Hello.,laksh..!!where are you..??papa is angry on you..come soon to home..we are waiting outside our mansion to do yours and ragini’s grahapravesh..!”the lady spoke quickly the content to be conveyed.
“Madam..we are calling from Lifeline hospital..”the voice made the opposite side to tremble.
“Hospital..but this is my son’s mobile know..what happened..??my Laksh and my bahu is okay right..where are they..??I wanted to talk to them..give it to them..who are you..??”the lady started panicking.
“Annapurna..what happened..??”dp scuttered to her when he found her face sweating and her panics stirs his heart.
“The girl’s condition is critical because of some internal brain injuries but the boy is safe..”someone’s voice pierced her heart and the phone fell down from her hand brushing the ground.
“What happened..??who was there on phone..??”dp shooked her and pulled her out from her daze.
“Our children..(hiccups) met with an accident(hiccups) Ragini got severely injured..(hiccups)”annapurna fell down on her knees and cried vigorously.
“What..??”everyone got shocked by her answer.
“Which hospital..??”
“Life-line hosp-ital.. “ap choked.
Maheshwari’s reached the hospital and rushed towards the OT.
“My laksh..”ap cried and her heart pain increased by every second.
“Annapurna..nothing will happen to our kids..don’t strain yourself..doctors are treating right ..relax..”dp consoled her showing him as strong but actually he was suffering inside.
“Doctor..”ap immediately stood up and rushed to the door way when doctor came out from the OT.
“MY SON..how is he..??”ap enquired.
“Doctor..my son and my daughter in law were safe right..”dp asked with tears when the doctor doesn’t gave any reactions.
“Are you patient’s father..?”
“Yes doctor.. “dp replied.
“Don’t worry..your both son and your bahu are safe but..”doctor stretched.
“But ..what. ??”ap asked being frightened.
“Your daughter in law got hurt at her head and has many internal injuries in her brain..she is safe now but due to the shock, her mental health got affected..I mean she will be having only 5 years old kid’s capability..,which doesn’t means she will be like this for lifelong,it can be cured and your son is perfectly okay.He has some fractures on his right hand and leg and some minor injuries only.,nothing to worry about him..”doctor announced which striked ap’s heart like an thunderbolt.
“My son’s life..how could he bear this.,that his wife had lost her mental stability..I have done a blunder of leaving them alone..”ap’s eyes started brimming up.
“It’s all because of the dosh that the girl has in her horoscope..I already warned you na jiji but you only ignored my words and see now our laksh life got spoiled totally..”Sujatha yelled.
“Sujatha..”RamPrasad warned her.
“She is right..I myself spoiled my son’s life..”ap cries covering her face shocking everyone.
“Annapurna..do you understand what you are speaking..??”dp tried convincing his wife.
“I know what I am saying..Call shekar ji and inform him about the accident and asks him to take his daughter with him..”ap announced.
“What..??this is not the right time annapurna..you are taking the wrong decision in frustration..”dp chided.
“May be..but nothing is important when compared to my son’s life..I want him.,I want my son back..please..”ap cries weeping the floor.
**few hours later
“Ragini..!!”laksh wake up from bed and panics.
“Laksh..you are awake..mera bachcha..”ap pulled him into her embrace and lovingly brushes his hair.
“Maa..Ragini..!!where is she..??I left her hand Maa.. I broke my promise..I want to see her..where is she..??”laksh repeats the same.
“Nothing happened to her…please relax na beta..”ap tried to convince him.
“Thank God.. where is she..??”laksh asked while ap’s face fell saddened.
Everyone blinks without answering anything which irked him more.
“Are you going to answer me or not..??”laksh screamed and was about to get down from his bed pulling his saline off.
“Laksh..please don’t..”ap rushed to him.
“Then tell me where is she..??”
“She is fine..shekar ji says that he is taking her to his home..”ap says lowering her eyes.
“But why..??she has to be taken to our house know..why does uncle took her to his house.??didn’t you say anything to him or opposed him.??Wait where is uncle.,I wanted to talk to him..”laksh again gets down from bed and was about to leave.
“You are not going to talk to anyone..,he is going to take his daughter with him to his house and that’s final..”ap blocked his way.
“Why..??she is wife and she has to live with me in our house not in her father’s house and I am going to stop him.,that’s final..”laksh proceeds further.
“You won’t able to see her in that state..please don’t go..”dp pulled him back.
“Why are you saying so..?you all said that she is well right.,then what happened..??why are you not allowing me to see my wife..??”laksh shouts thinking about his inability.
“Bhaisaab..we can’t hide anymore from him..let’s tell him about everything..”rp said while dp narrated everything to laksh.
“Ragini..!!”laksh screams slamming his hand on the table nearby and the medicines placed on the tray got bounced scattering on the floor.
“Laksh..”ap comes near him but he stopped her by showing his hand.
“I won’t let you go away Ragini.. “Laksh thinks and immediately strode outside,his legs ached but he never gave a damn and proceeds forward further.
“Ragini..”his eyes caught her sitting on the wheelchair playing with her hands while shekar looks up when he heard laksh’s voice.
“Ragini..”he descended the stairs and staggered while running down.
“Laksh beta..careful..”shekar said being concerned.
“Ragu..”he goes to her and bends down to her level.
“Ragini..look at me..your Laksh.. I am sorry for leaving your hands..I am sorry for breaking our promise of never leaving you..look at me na ..please..”he took her palms and placed a soft kiss over there.
“Laksh beta..she doesn’t remembers anything..please control yourself…we are taking her with us to our home..you please try to forget everything that happened between you two and move on..”shekar says pushing the wheelchair.
“How can you say that uncle..??how can you say that she does not remember me and all the above how can you ask me to forget everything..??is it any joke for you.,she is my life uncle..how can i forget her..??”he wiped his tears and goes to Ragini once again.
“Hey cutie pie.. don’t you know me..??can’t you recognise me..??”he asks cradling her face in his palms.
“Who says I don’t know you..”she replied cutely shocking everyone..
“You are my shinchan..Mickey’s shinchan..”she giggles pulling his cheeks.
“Yes..Mickey’s shinchan..”he pressed her nose and kissed her forehead lovingly.
“Aah.. shall I kiss you too..??”she asks.
“Yes of course.. “he showed his cheek to her but she shouted on his ear and showed her tongue out.
“Aahh..Mickey.. you are too bad..”laksh fake angered.
“Ouch..chorry shinnu..I won’t do it once again please talk to me na..”she turns his face towards her while pressing his bruises on his face hard unknowingly.
“Mickey..aahh..It’s hurting..”he shouts literally while she held her ears.
“I love you Ragini.. “he hugged her to his chest.
“Shinchan..shshh..don’t say that..It’s a bad word you know..”she blinks pulling away from him.
“What..??really..”he asked suppressing his laughter while she nodded cutely.
“Aww..mera bachcha..”he pulled her cheeks and brushes her hair lovingly.
“Ragini..let’s leave..”shekar strode the chair forward but was stopped by laksh.,he gave his best deathly glares.
“Mickey..Will you come with me to my house.,there you have many friends and your shinchan will play with you for 24*7..Will you come with me..??”
“Will you buy me chocolates and lollipops daily..??”she wriggled her eyebrows.
“Yes ofcourse.. I will buy you a choco factory too..Will you come with me..?”laksh quizzed her once again.
“Okay then you have to take me in arms..”
“Ragini..what’s this..??”shekar chided.
“Bye papa..I am going to my shinchan..”she giggles cutely.
“No you can’t go with him…his house has many ghosts and it will make you scare bachcha..”shekar spoke convincing her.
“Don’t worry papa.,my shinchan has solution for everything..hai na shinnu..”she asks him and he nods his head.
“But why your face has so many scratches..did some dog bumped on you and scratched your face..??”
“Nope ..it was just..leave it..!!you want me to take you in my arms na..come Mickey.. “he stretched his hands.
“Aah.. lift me carefully shinnu orelse I will bite your skin..”she slowly encircled her arms around his neck while he struggles walking because of the injuries at his leg.
Soon wheelchair was bought towards them while laksh sat on the chair placing Ragini in his lap when he found that he could not walk anymore.
He encircled his arms carefully around her while two persons pushed the chair towards the parking,Ragini screams in excitement.
Maheshwari’s were disappointed with laksh’s decision while gadodia’s doesn’t knows what to say.,time passes like this.In the mean time laksh too got recovered but Ragini instability doesn’t got cured.,he would be sticking around her for the whole day playing with her,feeding her and she used to sleep only when he sings a song for her.
After few days..,
“Shinnu..”she poked his shoulder continuously.
“Micku..I am hell tired.,we can play tomorrow..”he pulled her down and cuddled her.
“You idiot.. “she hits him and pulls his hairs to bring him out from sleeping.
“Aah.. what..??”he scratched his head.
“I want to see shinchan..”
“Oh..switch on the tv and watch his videos na micku.. ”
“No..It’s boring shinnu..I want to see him in real..”
“What..?”
“Yes shinnu..I want shinchan right now..”
“This night..are you crazy..??”
“Are you going to bring him here or not shinnu..”
“Micku.. “Laksh tried explaining her but she wasn’t listening.
“Shinchan..shinchan..I want shinchan..shinchan..”she shouts jumping on the bed.
“Shshh..okay Okay.. wait..”he says and goes to the dressing room and cane out wearing his red shirt and yellow trousers with a face mask of shinchan.
“Aww..are you really my shinchan..??(he nods)I like you so much shinchan..you are my favourite you know..”she still jumps on her bed in excitement.
“Uff..you likes me only..don’t you love me..??”he asks..
“Nahh..I like you only but I love my shinnu who is hiding behind this giant mask..”she jumped from the bed and pulled his mask.
“I caught you..yayy..!!”she chuckled cutely bouncing herself while he lost himself in her cuteness.
“Okay now decorate me..”she announced.
“What..?”
“Decorate me like Mickey mouse..”She says handing him the make up set.
“Hmm..I am waiting shinnu..”
He then took the kit and started decorating her face.
“Oh my god..”
“What..??”
“You looks pretty..”he said suppressing his laughter.
“Really.. wait let me have a look..”she slided him slightly and looks at her reflection on the mirror..
“Haaww.. shinnu..you are very bad ..now you have to face the consequences..”she pulled him towards her by holding his shirt collar and decorated him like doll.
“Mickey no..”he wriggled in her clutch but before he escapes completely from her hold she finished his make up.
“Look how cute my shinnu mouse is..”she giggles coiling her fingers around his neck.,both bursted out into laughter.
“Not cute than my Mickey mouse. ”
They laughed.,giggled and teased each other funnily,later she dozed off in his lap itself.
“Maa..”ragini choked in her sleep while laksh caressed her cheek.
She was panicking in her sleep..,”don’t leave me..don’t leave my hands laksh ji..laksh ji…”her screams broke him when she recalled their accident.
“No don’t..please don’t..”
“Please..!oh my god..I am dying..oh my god..please save me..”
“Maa..help me..I am just dying..laksh ji..please save me..”she screamed more while laksh tried stopping her and waking her up but she wasn’t listening any of his words.
“Bachcha relax..”he pulled her to his embrace and pats her back.
“Who are you..??”she pushed him away while he trembled back.
“Micku.. “he uttered shockingly.
“Stay away..and Who is micku here..??stay away from me you mister..!!”she screamed pushing him away while it hits him like a thunderbolt and his heart felt heavy like someone squeezing it.
“Ragu..”
“Please..I want to go to my mom..”she closed her ears tightly and collapsed on the bed.
“Ragini..”he lifted her in his arms and pats her cheeks but she wasn’t responding.
Few minutes later.,Ragini snapped her eyes open and found herself in the same room while her eyes fixed on the members who are throwing their sympathic stares on her.,she averted her gaze and found the stranger’s shadow behind the door.,she slightly leans towards the table beside her and looks at the doorway only to found him sitting on the floor crying holding his knees.
“Who is that..”she mumbled unknowingly and the reply she got was the most shocking and surprising one.
“My husband..when did I got married..??i don’t remember anything”she asked blankly..
“Why he is crying..??why he didn’t came inside..”she enquired..
“Laksh..”ap called.

Their eyes got locked.,ragini doesn’t knows why but her heart flutters by his touching and her stomach started airing the dance show.
“Ragu beta..”janaki’s voice brought her back to the world.
“Maa..”she hugged janaki and cried on her embrace.
“Maa..they are telling me that I am married and showing him as my HUSBAND..is that true..??”she mumbled while her mother’s eyes widened while she just nodded.
“I don’t recognise or remember anything about him and about us..”she muttered painfully while he felt a never ending dark void of emotions in him.
“Why I am not remembering anything and him..I just remember me screaming his name..why did I screamed his name..??what happened to me..??”she pulled her hairs in frustration while janaki consoled her and explained everything to her the way how laksh took care of her and his love for her.
She felt blessed to have him as her life partner but at the same time she felt cursed for not remembering anything about him.
Laksh was about to leave when he could not tolerate her tears but was held by someone who is none other than his life.,his love.,his wife.
She shooks her head holding his wrist and crying on her mother’s shoulder.

“It’s nothing serious..just an post traumatic amnesia..it will cure soon..”doctor announced after checking her.
“Thank you doctor..”maheshwari’s and gadodia’s left from the room leaving the couple alone giving some privacy.
Silence prevails.,but both hearts shivers and bounces with each other’s presence.,words are not coming out from their mouth.,tears trailed it’s way..this time it’s a sigh of happiness.
“Woh micku.. ”
“Woh laksh ji..”” both said at the same time.
“Sorry..actually I used to it..!!hereafter I will call you by your name itself..”
“Naahh.. it’s cute ..you can call by that itself..”she says lowering her head.
“So micku..are you feeling better..”he enquired.
“I am okay but..”she hesitates.
“What..??tell na..why to hesitate with your shinnu..oh actually you used to call me shinchan and sometimes in short as shinnu.”he said.
“Actually I am feeling sleepy..would you mind me sleeping on your lap shinnu..??”she asks pouting cutely.
“Come..”he hauled her and made her lay on his lap and pats her back gently which felt so good to her.
“I am loving his presence..what’s happening to me..??”she thinks and soon doses off.,he too slept in that position laying his head on the bedboard.
Birds started chirping and sunrays penetrates inside the room..,ragini’s sleep got disturbed by the rays falling straight on her face which made her to squirm on her sheet.
“Hmm..”she pulled the blanket and covered her face.
“Micku.. get up..!!”laksh pulled down the blanket from her face while she pulled back the next moment and he grabbed the blanket and took it off from her.
“Mchch..shinnu what’s this ..”she pulled back and in that fight he fell on top of her.
Their eyes got locked.,he leaned forward and their front literally touched,his hot breath fanning her face stirring her heart creating some tickling sensation on her abdomen.,he leaned more and their lips were inches away.
“Laksh..”dp’s voice distracted them and with that they part away from each other.
“Refresh and come down..here your medicines., after having your breakfast take this..I need to go today since it’s an important meeting .,I will be off from tomorrow..Take care for today only..”he kissed her forehead and handed her the tablets.
“Take care too shinnu..”she said waving her hand.
The whole day went really boring for ragini she is extremely fed up with the too much of pampering and irritating soap opera’s on tv channel.
She searched the cupboard for some books or some albums for passing the time but got only a pen drive after a long research.
“Let me connect it with the tv..”she fixed the drive with the tv and played it.,her eyes got glued to the scene airing in front of her.
She witnessed the way laksh cares for her.,his feeding.,her teasings.,he taking her on his back.,her innocence and his way of handling her..,the micky and shinnu’s thing.,her prank.,the paint which she drew on his face while he was sleeping.,he twirling her in his arms and their night gossips.,their teddy hugs everything filled her eyes with the salty tears making her to crave for him..,for his love.
The video got ended and the door gets opened suddenly..,while her eyes averted from ground to doorway.
She immediately scuttered towards the door and hauled him towards her bone crushing hug and kissed all over his face making him to froze on his spot.
“I want you..I need my shinchan.,mickey’s shinchan because I love my shinnu..will you be mine..??”she confessed her feelings immediately to him.
“You remembered everything..”he asked but she nodded in no.
“But I can feel it..I can feel my love for you and will you accept me as your micku..”she says huskily brushing the floor.,he suddenly took her into his embrace showering her with all his love.
“Would you mind me kissing here..”she asked cutely pointing his lips.
“Of course not..”he smirks covering her lips inside his mouth and the screen freezes.
