Journey 8

Laksh is looking at Ragini with his welled up eyes through the window of ICU. Ragini was on bed and treatment is going on.

Sanskar has called to Ragini’s grandparents as Laksh says. They were already in the journey in flight, as Bhuvan asked them to come. And, now they get this information. The three rushes to the hospital where Ragini is joined.

Laksh was looking at Ragini from the glass window and he looks at the engagement ring. He remembers how Ragini make him wear it. her face was completely covered in blush then. Laksh smiles sadly remembering that and a tear falls on that ring.

Then suddenly a hand falls on his shoulder and that hand forcely moves Laksh back. It’s Dadaji.

He starts taunting Laksh,

“Because of you only our ladoo is in this condition today. If you would have married her, this our so called son Bhuvan wouldn’t have forced her to marry his son.”

Bhuvan turns away his face. Laksh was just looking at floor.

“And today, while saving you.. she has risked herself..!! what a life is yours..?? Do you have a little shame??”

Laksh was just speechless.

“Get out of here. Go away. Your eyes shouldn’t fall on my ladoo again..!!” Dadaji says and drags Laksh out. He pushes Laksh away, and Sanskar holds him.

The screen becomes blank..

Next morning..

Ragini opens her eyes slowly. She was on bed, and saline is attached to her.. she is feeling somewhat dizzy, but fine.

She looks aside and finds a girl sitting before her on a stool. Ragini has never seen her. Ragini looks at her puzzled.

“I’m such a bad soul. You got this condition because of me. I’m Swara.”

Ragini gets amazed to see her. Ragini looks at mangal sutr in her neck and gets a pinch in heart. Ragini just smiles,

“Congrats Swara for your marriage. Laksh is really a nice guy.” Ragini says.

Swa: I know Ragini. That’s why, he is waiting for you.

Ragini looks at her confused.

Swa: not me Ragini, it’s you who is lucky..! Ragini, I was an arrogant girl in the college times. If I don’t get what I wish, I would even go to extremities to take of my life.

Ragini looks on..

Swa: laksh has come to our house yesterday.

FLASH BACK

Swara was about to drink the poison as Laksh hasn’t come yet. Then she hears sounds of her room doors breaking, she shocks and it’s Laksh. She is shocked to see some men have fell on floor, that means, Laksh has fought with them. Swara runs to hug him, but Laksh holds her hand and takes her out.

Shekar and his wife sumi keeps looking at them. Laksh takes swara by hand and pushes her to her parents. Shekar and Sumi holds her.

Sumi: mr.Laksh, what is this??

Lak: not me aunty, ask your daughter..!! look at the poison bottle in her hand.

Sumi looks at her shocked.

Laksh now starts saying in frustration,

“who are you swara? Who the hell are you?? Why did you play with my life??”

Swara remains silent.

“For the kind information, I didn’t come to elope you..!! no..!! I don’t love you and I don’t have any intention to marry you..!! yes, damn it..! I don’t have any love on you..!!”
Laksh says in frustration and beats a man to ground who came to stab him.

Swara looks at Laksh shocked. Laksh laughs in upset to control his anger. He wipes sweat on forehead.

Laksh says

“don’t think me as the swinging mind like yours swara. Bcz, I really don’t have any love for you. I came all the way from Kolkata to Mysore just being concerned for your life. For your blackmail that you will die. And, don’t think I have done this because I have loved you. You know very well what Laksh is, that he can’t see anyone dying before him. Because I’m a human. But, I have behaved with Ragini at least not as a human.”

Shekar, Sumi and swara are looking at Laksh silently.

“Once I have loved you during college days, that might be truth. But, you kept on rejecting me..and I thought to leave it, and move on. Then, my parents have showed ‘Ragini’ to marry her. Normally I have decided to move on in my life and I have fixed Ragini as my life partner. When there is just 10 minutes for the marriage to start, then.. I got your phone call…” Laksh keeps saying..

And, now.. flash back in flashback.. (sub flash back)

Swara sobbing in phone:: Laksh, I love you. I love you..

Laksh laughing:: swara, stop joking. Now in 10 minutes my marriage…

Swara in strong voice:: laksh, I’m standing at the cliff of bridge. If you don’t come for me now, I’m going to jump in that Hooghly River.

Laksh shocks with her statement. Being aware of the fact what is swara and how stubborn she is.. Laksh rushes there.

Meanwhile, in mandap place as Laksh was not there.. someone says that groom has eloped. And, everyone believes the rumor. Laksh’s only fault is without informing this to anyone. Because there was no time, and he can’t see someone dying. He didn’t estimate the fact saving one girl will risk other girl’s life.

By the time Laksh reaches the Howrah bridge, he is shocked to see, Swara was about to jump up from the railing. “Swara Stop” he runs.. but she has jumped already. However, Laksh saves her.

In hospital,

“tell me Laksh, tell me that you love me. Otherwise, my life is waste. I will end this life” swara says weakly. Being tied with humanity he says love you to her unwillingly.

Later, Laksh goes to mandap to explain everything to all. And, he would marry Ragini sure for other date.. but already he was misunderstood by everyone and all guests have dispersed. Everyone looks him as a culprit. Dadaji’s family doesn’t give him chance to talk.

So, that night.. he decides to meet Ragini however and say what has happened. But, he finds her at the bridge who is about to jump.. later, we all know the rest all story.

Shekar takes back Swara to Mysore and fixes her marriage with someone. And, swara says adamantly that she will marry only Laksh. Laksh decides to go there and explain everything to Shekar and Sumi and make Swara change her mind and fix on one decision.
By doing so, he seeks help of Shekar to talk with Dadaji and Daadi that there was not Laksh’s mistake completely. And, make them agree for marriage with Ragini again. Laksh’s scheme was this.

Laksh keeps on telling,

“Swara, I don’t know why you have changed your decision suddenly, but.. I came to save you that day.. but not to take you back in my life. I wanted to convince you, but you were not in position to listen. And my life was also ruined. I have lost Ragini then. Dadaji and Daadi maa were not listening to me. I wanted to make them understand why I did this..! so, I can make them understand only with the help of your parents or you..!! that’s why, I have started my ‘Journey.’ It was not for you ‘Swara..!!” it was purely for “Ragini”. My Ragini.”

Laksh says aloud. Swara looks shocked.

Laksh says in tears,
“I kept on killing my heart to say I love you to you.. just to keep you alive. I know, I have crushed Ragini’s heart then. But, what to do?? One side the heart and other side a life. What can we leave?? What can we ignore??”

Laksh wipes his tears,

“Everything was going perfectly. I wanted to show you Ragini. Explain you that I love her. I wanted to convince your parents to talk with Ragini’s grandparents to arrange our marriage again.. but… Ragini……..” Laksh couldn’t say further remembering Ragini’s condition.

He falls on his knees and cries. Then Sanskar enters,

“Your dad has send men to stab Laksh. But Ragini came in middle.”

Swara shocks and looks at Shekar. Shekar bends his head.

San:: uncle, not blaming others. See, what your daughter wants first. Swara, the game is over with now. you all need not worry, everyone has lost trust on Laksh already. And swara stop being swingy minded and be on a fixed choice.

Sanskar lifts Laksh. “Let’s go Laksh. Not these guys, I will talk with them. Let’s fight together.”
Sanskar holds Laksh to take out.

FLASH BACK END.

Ragini was looking at swara amazed as she was saying all what happened.

“Yes Ragini. Laksh loved you, loves you and keeps loving you. He was just showing pity on me. But, he was loving you. Maybe he started a journey to save me, but.. it was for you..! only to gain you back..!!”

Swara says and Ragini bends her eyes in disbelief.

“I have realized that my feeling towards Laksh was just stubbornness to gain him and not love. I understood love means dedication but not dictatorship. I have decided a fixed decision then… to help Laksh”

Swara says and Ragini looks at her.

“As Laksh wished, my parents have talked with your grandparents. As it was all my fault, they excused Laksh. But, all are waiting for your decision Ragini.” Swara smiles to her and goes out.

Ragini still feels as if she was in the dream.

Then, at door, Sanskar places hand on swara and takes her aside.. then, Laksh enters into the room.

Ragini keeps looking at Laksh and Laksh too silently looks at her.
