Laksh came out of the MM in anger and drove to some place.. he stopped the car on an empty road and came out.. Then he hit his hand on the car in anger.. He was restless and angry as hell… Then he stopped… Breathing fast in anger…he thought something.. His breath was getting normal.. He then sat in the car… And put his seat belt…he moved his hands in his hair…held his hair back for a while.. And closed his eyes..he kept sitting like that for a minute..then he opened his eyes removing his hand.. took a sigh..then he drove..back to MM…he came to his room.. He saw that ragini was still crying..sitting on the bed putting her head on her folded knees.. Laksh felt bad..he removed his eyes.. Turned back and closed the door latching it.. She heard the sound of door and looked up at him.. He turned back and looked at her.. Her eyes were red and swollen due to crying.. He then removed his eyes and came forward..she removed her eyes too..He came towards her side.. And sat on the bed..Near her.. Ragini was sitting placing her hands on her folded knees.. He moved himself facing towards her and looked at her.. He was upset..
Laksh: Ragini…
He held her hands in his hands.. And she looked up with tears falling down…
Ragini: Laksh.. H…hume maaf kar dijiye… Hum..hum jaante hain ki hain ki hunari shaadi ko bohot waqt ho gaya hai.. Lekin phir bhi.. Pata nahi kyu par.. Par hum khud ko humare rishte ke liye taiyaar nahi kar paa rahe.. (Cried more) Sahi keh rahe the aap.. Hum kabhi acchi patni bann hi nahi sakte..aap kabhi humare saath khush reh hi nahi paayenge.. Isliye behtar hoga ki aap hume chhod kar kisi aur se…
Laksh: (got shocked and shouted a bit) Ragini..!!! (Ragini got scared a little) phir dobara aisi baat karna to dur sochna bhi mat..tumse dur hone ke khyaal se tak dur rehna chahta hu main..meri zindgi..meri duniya sirf tum ho.. Tumhari jagah kisi aur ke baare me sochne bhi ni sakta main (sadly with a deep voice.. Got his eyes teary) ragini main bohot pyaar karta hu tumse.. Tumse pyaar karne ki aadat ho gayi hai mujhe.. Main chaah kar bhi nahi rok sakta khud ko tumhe pyaar karne se..tumse pyaar nahi karunga to shaayad..marr jaunga.. (She got shocked hearing this) Pata nahi gusse me maine kya kya bol diya tumhe.. Lekin ragini..meri kya galti hai? Ye ki… Maine..pyaar ke badle me maine pyaar maanga tumse? Ragini mere itna pyaar karne ke baad tum mujhse thoda sa…thoda sa hi pyaar kyu nahi kar sakti? Han? Mujhe chhodne ki baat kar sakti ho par pyaar nahi kar sakti.. Kyu ragini? Itna bura hu main?
Ragini: (crying..nodding her head in no ) Nahi laksh.. Hum.. (Lowered down her eyes) Hume bass kuch waqt de dijiye…hume waqt chahiye aage badhne ke liye waqt chahiye khud ko aage ki zindgi ke liye taiyaar karne ke liye.. Waqt chahiye khud ko samjhaane ke liye ki ab hum shaadi shuda hain.. Aur aap aur hum pati- Patni… (looking up) Bass…
Laksh: Theek hai ragini.. (He held her face in his hands) Tumhe waqt chahiye..? Main waqt dunga tumhe.. (Smiled a bit to consol her) Lekin iss baar mujhe mere b'day par matlab 3 din baad tumse gift chahiye.. And you know what I want..tab tak tumhe khud ko kaise taiyaar karna hai.. Wo tum decide karo.. (She was looking at him blanked.. And he wiped her tears) chalo ab ye rona band karo.. Aur so jaao.. Hmm?
He smiled..Ragini looked down.. And he came to his side.. He sat down.. And she was looking at him.. He thought for a while.. Then he took a sigh..and lied down.. She was looking at him blank..
Laksh: ab dekh kya rahi ho? Abhi 3 din hain mujhse pyaar karne ke liye.. Inn 3 dino me araam se dekhna mujhe aur pyaar karna mujhse..but abhi… Leto aur so jaao..
She removed her eyes..and lied down.. Laksh smiled.. And closed his eyes.. She was still looking at him.. Then she removed her eyes and turned to the other side.. Was still Blank and shocked…then took a sigh and changed expressions in determination.. Then she closed her eyes and slept..
Next day..
@Laksh's cabin..
Laksh was working on his laptop..wearing a blue dotted shirt with black over it and greyish jeans.. Just then peon came..
Peon: May I come in sir?
Laksh: (without looking up) Come in…
Peon came in and put some files on the table..
Peon: Sir.. Ye nayi company se files aayi hai.. Sir ne rechecking ke liye bola hai..
Laksh: (looked at the files..then at him…a bit angrily) ye mera kaam hai? Where is nikita..? Usko bolo.. Ye uska kaam hai…
Peon: sir.. Nikita madam to office hi nahi aayi aaj…
Laksh: (got confused) Office nahi aayi? Kyu?
Peon: Pata nahi sir..
Laksh: Ok..tum jaao..
Laksh thought for a while.. Then he picked up his phone and called nikita.. She didn't recieve his call..
Laksh: (to himself) Call bhi nahi utha rahi… Kal party se bhi bina bataye chali gayi.. Aaj office bhi nahi aayi.. What's wrong with her? Uske papa to theek hai na? I think I should go and check..
After the office laksh drove to nikita's house.. He rang the door bell.. Nobody opened it.. He rang it again.. And Nikita opened it..she looked at laksh who was wearing goggles.. And got shocked..
Laksh: Aise kya dekh rahi ho? Pehchana nahi kya? (Removing goggles) Laksh maheshwari..
Nikita: (got her eyes normal) N..nahi..aisi baat nahi hai..
Just then Malhotra ji's voice came..
Malhotra: Kaun hai beta..?
Nikita: (shouting a bit looking back) Wo papa.. Laksh sir aaye hain..
Malhotra: (came out) Dekha main tujhe keh raha tha naa chali jaa office.. Khaamakha sir ko aana pada..
Laksh: (smiled seeing him) Malhotra ji.. Kaise hain aap?
Malhotra: Sir..aap waha kyu khade hain..? andar aaiye..niki beta sir ke liye kuch le ke aao..
Laksh came in and sat down..
Laksh: Nahi.. Uski koi zarurat nahi hai.. Main bass dekhne aaya tha ki sab theek to hai.. (Looking at nikita) I mean kal tum party se bhi bina btaye chali aayi thi..aur aaj office bhi nahi aayi..
Malhotra: pata nahi…subah kehne lagi ki sar dard ho raha hai.. Isliye office nahi jaa rahi..
Nikita: (a bit angrily) Papa… Aapki appointment ka time hone wala hai na..? Chaliye ab doctor ke paas..
Laksh was noticing nikita's weird behaviour..
Malhotra: Arey chalenge… Abhi dekh rahi ho na sir aaye hue hain..
Laksh: Nahi..its ok malhotra ji.. Aap pehle doctor ke paas chale jaiye..
Malhotra: Arey nahi sir.. Aap pehli baar mere ghar aaye hain..
Nikita: Papa jab wo khud keh rahe hain jaaiye to phir chaliye na..
Malhotra: Ye ladki nahi maanegi.. Accha sir.. Main abhi jaa ke aata hu.. Tab tak aap kuch chaaye paani lijiye..(looking at nikita) Niki..beta tu sir ko chaaye nashta de..main hoke aata hu..
Laksh smiled.. And malhotra went from there.. Then he looked at nikita and she was avoiding looking at him..he got up and came towards nikita..
Laksh: (seriously) Nikita..ab mujhe btao ki real reason kya hai..? Kyu nahi aayi tum office?
Nikita: (without looking at him) wo..aise hi… (Got her eyes filled with tears)
Laksh: Tum kal party se bhi chali gayi thi.. Wo bhi bina bataye..mujhe batao ki baat kya hai..? Tumhe meri kisi baat ka bura laga hai?
Nikita: (tears started falling down and she turned back) nahi..
Laksh: To phir..?
Nikita: (crying) mujhe nahi pata..
Laksh: (got frustrated) Tumhe nahi pata..you know tum without any reason..office nahi aayi aur tumhare hisse ka kaam bhi mujhe hi karna pada..
Nikita: (irritated) Exactly.. Excatly… Sirf kaam karne ke liye hi to hu main.. Sirf kaam hi karna chahiye mujhe.. Ussi ke hi layak hu..
Laksh: (turned her back in a bit anger) To free me kaam nahi karwata tumse.. Jo kaam karti ho uski salary bhi logi…
Nikita: (joined her hands crying) nahi chahiye aapki salary.. Nahi karna aapke saath kaam..
Laksh: (got a bit shocked) nikita what's wrong with you? Tumhe agar meri uss daant se bura laga hai to maine tab sorry bola tha.. I'm really very sorry again..
Nikita: (got irritated) Aap nahi samjhenge.. Aap please chale jaaiye yahan se..
Laksh: (held her from shoulders..in anger) Problem kya hai tumhari?
Nikita: (removed his hands frustrated and crying) I love you… Ye hi problem hai meri that I love you… (Laksh got shocked) pyaar karne lagi thi main aapse… Sapne dekhne lagi thi aapke.. Lekin mujhe nahi pata tha ki aapki zindgi me pehle se hi koi aur hai..ki aap shaadi shuda hain.. (She hugged him..and he got shocked) pehli baar pyaar kiya tha maine kisi se.. Bohot pyaar karti hu main aapse..sach me bohot pyaar karti hu..
Laksh broke the hug removing her hands.. She looked at him crying..
Laksh: (angrily) dimaag kharaab ho gaya hai tumhara..? Tum sirf meri secretory ho.. You got that..? Meri shaadi ho chuki hai.. Wo bhi uss ladki se jise main apni jaan se bhi zayada pyaar karta hu..Ragini meri zindgi hai.. So ye jo tum sapne dekh rahi ho..aur jo kuch soch rahi ho… Wo sochna band kar do.. Tumhare papa ki haalat dekh kar chhod diya tumhe..other wise main abhi issi waqt tumhe fired kar chuka hota.. Samjhi?
Nikita: (held his hand) Sir please.. Sir I really love you so much.. Pyaar karte hain na aap ragini se.. To mere pyaar ko bhi samajh sakte hain..
Laksh: Of course samajh sakta hu.. Aur samajh bhi raha hu.. ye tumhara pyaar nahi hai galti hai.. Jo tumne mujhse pyaar kiya..coz main tumse pyaar.. Huhh..bol bhi nahi sakta main.. Main sirf apni ragini se pyaar karta hu..But anyways….ye galti sudhari jaa sakti hai.. (Snatched his hand) kal office aaogi to aa jana.. Otherwise…Tumhara termination letter tumhare ghar bhijwa dunga..got it?
Then he left her crying and went out of her house in anger..he drove to MM..
After sometime..
He was lying on the sofa in balcony thinking of the incident wearing a blue T-shirt and grey lower..just then ragini came in the room.. He looked at her.. She brought coffee to him.. And placed it over the table infront of him..
Ragini: Aapki coffee..
He was staring her.. Ragini found his eyes different..
Ragini: Kya hua?
Laksh got up and hugged her.. And she got a bit shocked..
Laksh: Ragini..I love you.. I love you so much..
Ragini: Hum jaante hain..
broke the hug and cupped her face..
Laksh: (smiling) Jaanti ho?
Ragini removed her eyes and nodded in yes..He held her from her waist and joined his head with hers..
Laksh: (smiling in excitement) bass 2 din aur ragini.. Phir tum aur main ek dusre ke ho jayenge.. Hamesha hamesha ke liye..
Ragini removed his hands getting back..
Ragini: Aap coffee pee lijiye.. Thandi ho jayegi..
Laksh: (smiled) Ok..
Then she went from there and he took the cup of coffee up..
Next day..
Laksh came down stairs wearing white shirt with reddish brown blazer and black pant…ragini was preparing the table for breakfast.. Laksh saw her and smiled.. Nobody was there yet except her.. He came to her and kissed on her cheek.. Ragini got shocked and looked around.. He smirked at her..
Laksh: Bass aaj aur kal ka din aur..
ragini got nervous and looked down.. Just then sujata and ram prasad came with bags..
Sujata: Laa ragini.. Jaldi se maahre ko naasta karba de.. Maahri flight ka waqt ho raha hai..
Ragini: chaachi ji aap log baithiye hum naashta laate hain..
Ragini went in kitchen..Laksh sat down and anpurna came there..
Ap: Ho gaye taiyaar tum log?
Sujata: Haan jijji.. Bade saalo ke baad aaj apne ghar jaa rahi hu main..
Ram: Bade saalo baad? na pichle saal hi to gayi thi jab hum aadi ko milne gaye the sath me..
Sujata: uh…haan… To ek saal to ho gaya na..?
Laksh: chaachi..mere liye waha se ghevar laana mat bhulna..
Sujata: (smiling) Haan.. Jaad hai maahre ko..
Laksh: Maa… papa kaha hai?
Ap: aa gaye..
Dp came from behind.. And sat down..
Dp: Ram.. Taiyaar ho gaye tum?
Ram: ji bhai saa..
Ragini came and arranged food for everyone..
Ram: Laks..mere peeche se tune hi sambhalna hai mera kaam..
Laksh: Don't worry chacha ji.. Aap befikr ho kar jaao.. (Smiled)
Dp: Haan ram.. Ab humara laksh bada ho gaya hai.. Ab hume chinta karne ki zarurat hi mehsus nahi honi chahiye…
Laksh smiled.. And durga prasad also smiled..
Ap: Haan.. Aur ab 2 din baad to aur bada hone wala hai..
Laksh: Aap kabhi nahi bhulti na maa?
Ap: Maa hu.. Kaise bhul sakti hu.. (Smiled)
Sujata: na matlab iss baar hum na honge laks ke budday ka cake khaane ko?
Laksh: Don't worry chaachi..aap jab aaogi..tab cake khila dunga..
Sujata: haawww.. Na ek hafte purana cake khilayega tu maahre ko?
Everybody laughed..
Laksh: (laughed) arey chaachi..fresh khila dunga..ok?
Sujata: haan.. (Smiled)
Then they had breakfast..and now it was time for ram and sujata's departure.. Ram prasad was meeting dp and laksh.. Sujata hugged anpurna and ragini.. Then ragini touched her feet..
Sujata: (smiling happily) khus reh.. Na ab to jab main wapis aau to maahre ko na khuskhabri suna de..je ghar ke baris ke aane ki… (Ragini got her eyes bigger)
Ap: (coming to them) haan sujata ab to hum bhi apne pote poti ke saath khelna chaahte hain..
Sujata: Haina jijji…
Laksh smiled blushing looking at ragini.. Ragini's eyes got filled with tears she looked at laksh..nervously.. And removed her eyes in embarassement.
Ram: Chal bhaagbaan.. Thaari wajah se maahri flight chhut gi to na jaunga main phir kabhi dekh le..
Sujata: Haan aa rahi hu.. (Talking to herself) Naa bohot paresaan karte hain je maahre ko..
And sujata and ram prasad went from there..then..
Dp: chalo laksh.. Ab hume bhi office chalna chahiye..
Laksh: Ji papa…
They both also sat in the car and laksh drove to the office..
After some time..
Laksh was in his cabin and someone knocked at the door..
Laksh: aa gayi… (In a louder voice) come in..
And a peon came in.. With files..
Laksh: tum phir ye files mere paas le aaye..?
Peon: maaf kariye sir.. Ye files ko checking ke liye aur kaha lekar jaau.. ?
Laksh: Matlab nikita aaj bhi nahi aayi?
Peon: Nahi sir..
Laksh: (angrily) oh to madam laksh maheshwari ko attitude dikhayengi..
Then he got up.. And took out a document from the drawer.. He wrote some thing on it and signed on it.. And offered it to peon..
Laksh: Ye bhijwa do uss nikita ke ghar..
Peon: Kya hai ye sir?
Laksh: (angrily) termination letter hai..tumhe bhi chahiye?
Peon: (got scared) Nn..n..nahi sir.. Lekin..sir aap usey fire mat kijiye.. Wo.. Malhotra ji ki death ho gayi aaj..isliye nahi aayi..abhi durga prasad sir wahi to gaye hain..
Laksh: (shocked) what? Nikita ke papa ki death?
Peon: Ji sir.. Heart attack aa gaya unhe.. Bechari nikita madam.. Naa to maa thi aur na ab pita hi hai.. Anaath ho gayi bechari..
Laksh got shocked and lost..
Peon: Sir? Sir? Ye letter?
Laksh: Shut up.. Aur jaao yaha se..
Peon: O..ok sir..
He went from there.. Then laksh thought for a while.. He crushed that paper and threw it.. Then after the office..he went to nikita's house.. Door was open.. And there was silence all around.. And malhotra's photo was kept..there was a garland on it and a plate of aarti was kept infront of it.. Then a girl came from inside..she was nikita's friend shilpa..
Shilpa: Aap kaun?
Laksh: I'm laksh maheshwari.. nikita meri secretory hai.. Wo mujhe malhotra ji ke baare me pata chala to..
Shilpa: andar aaiye..
Laksh came in.. Then she took him to nikita's room.. She was sitting lost…two more ladies were also sitting there…laksh saw her and got upset for her..
Shilpa: (sadly..with breaking voice) Gum ho chuki hai.. Kuch bol hi nahi rahi..
Laksh came to her.. He hesitaingly put a hand on her shoulder.. She looked up.. Her tears started falling seeing him..she got up and hugged him.. Laksh got shocked and angry for a while.. He was about to remove her back just then..
Nikita: (hugging him and crying) sab akela chhod gaye mujhe sir.. Akeli ho gayi hu main.. Bilkul akeli ho gayi hu…
She was crying badly.. Laksh closed his eyes to control his anger.. Then he took a sigh and patted on her back..
Laksh: (consoling her) Its ok.. Sab theek ho jayega..
Then he removed her hands.. And got seperated..And she was still crying..
Laksh: Tum chaaho to kuch aur waqt ke liye leave le sakti ho..
Nikita was still crying looking at him.. Then he removed his eyes and went from there..he came out to the car.. Just then he saw that a car stopped there.. And from that car ragini and anpurna came out. They saw him..
Laksh: Maa..ragini? Aap log?
Ap: malhotra ji ke baare me suna to nikita se milne chale aaye..
Laksh got a bit scared..
Laksh: Lekin ragini? Tu..tumhe kya zarurat thi aane ki?
Ragini: Laksh.. Papa ne bataya ki nikita ab akeli hain.. Unhe hum logo ki zarurat hai..
Ap: Ragini bilkul theek keh rahi hai laksh.. Aao ragini..
Then they both got in.. Laksh got a bit nervous wondering about how would nikita react on seeing ragini.. He also got in after them.. Ap got into her room and saw Nikita she was crying.. Those two ladies were also there.
Ap: Nikita?
She went towards her and she hugged her.. Crying..
Ap: Bass beta.. Hum sab hai na..tum ghabrao mat..
Ragini also walked towards her..and laksh got a bit worried..
Ragini: haan nikita.. Hum sab tumhare saath hain..
Nikita looked at her.. Then she looked at laksh.. He was giving her and angry and pleasing look..then she cried again hugging anpurna..
Nikita: Sab khatam ho gaya aunty ji.. Jo apne the.. Aur jinhe apna maanti thi sab chhod gaye hain mujhe..
Ap: Aise nahi kehte beta..
Ragini's tears started falling down seeing her…she was going out of the room.. Laksh looked at her..
Laksh: Ragini.. ?
She went out..and he came after her…nikita was seeing them through the glass window..
Ragini: (crying) aisa kyu hota hai laksh? Kyu humare maa baba hume beech raah me chhod jaate hain?
Laksh walked to her..he got upset for her and his eyes also got filled with tears.. He turned her..and pulled her into a hug… She also held him..and nikita got burnt..ragini was crying putting her head on his chest..
Ragini: (crying) Nahi dekh sakte hum kisi ko bhi uss daur se guzarte hue jaha se hum guzre hain..
Laksh: Ssshhh…meri ragini itni weak nahi hai..
He carassed with his hand on her hair.. And kissed on her head.. Nikita was getting jealous like hell..Ragini then broke the hug and he wiped her tears..
Laksh: Nikita ko himmat dene aayi thi.. Aur khud hi ro rahi ho.. Isliye keh raha tha ki tumhe yaha aane ki zarurat nahi hai.. Ab tum yahi ruko.. Nikita ko dekhogi to phir se rone lagogi.. Main maa ko bula kar laata hu.. Ok?
She nodded in yes looking down.. Then laksh got in..
Laksh: Maa.. I think ab hume chalna chahiye..
Ap: (looking at nikita) Nikita beta… Tum ghabraana mat.. Hum tumhare saath hain.. Koi bhi cheez ki zarurat ho to humse yaa phir laksh se keh sakti ho…ab hum chalte hain..
Nikita was still crying.. She looked at laksh..he also looked at her…then anpurna and he went out of the room.. Anpurna got out..and laksh came to ragini..
Laksh: chalo ragini…
He held ragini's hand took her out from there.. Nikita was burning in fire seeing them together..then one of the two ladies sitting there said..
Lady1: Arey ye to wahi hai jisne iss ladki se zabardasti shaadi ki thi..
Lady2: Haan.. Wahi hai..
Shilpa: kaun? ye laksh maheshwari?
Lady1: haan..
Shilpa: Aapko kaise pata?
Lady1: Arey inke ghar ki ladki ki shaadi me kaam karne gaye the hum log.. Tab iska iske dost ke saath jhagda ho gaya ye ladki ki wajah se.. Aur phir uske dost ne hi bataya sabko ki iske bhai ko jaan se maarne ki dhamki dekar zabardasti shaadi ki thi isne uss ladki se..arey ye ladki to iske ghar me naukarani thi..
Lady2: Ye bhi to bataya tha ki dono ke beech pati patni jaisa koi rishta nahi hai.. Nafrat karti hai wo ladki issey..
Lady1: arey wo to karegi hi.. Zabardasti thodi kisi ko apna pati maan sakti hai.. Ye bade gharo ke ladke aise hi hote hain.. Jiska chaahe dil tod diya.. Jisko chaahe apna bana liya.. Maano hum chhote log insaan nahi khilaune ho..
Lady2: Lekin phir bhi.. Pyaar bohot karta hai uss ladki se.. Ek naukrani ko raani bana diya isne.. Palko par baitha kar rakhta hai usey.. Haan wo alag baat hai ki wo pyaar nahi karti issey.. Chalo..hum bhi kiski baate le kar baith gaye..
Lady1: Haan.. Sahi keh rahi ho.. Chalo beta nikita.. Hum chalte hain.. Tum apna khyaal rakhna..
Then those two ladies went from there..
Friend: (looking at nikita) Suna tune wo kya keh rahi thi..
Nikita: (crying in anger looking down) suna… (Grinding teeth) Bohot pyaar karte hain uss ragini se… Palko par bitha kar rakhte hain usey… Naukrani se rani bana diya hai unhone usey..
Friend: Arey ye nahi.. Ye ki.. Undono ke beech pati patni jaisa kuch nahi hai.. Wo nafrat karti hai laksh se..ab tu soch..jab pyaar ke badle me pyaar nahi milta to kaisa lagta hai.. (Nikita looked at her face a bit confusingly) Jaisa tujhe lag raha hai… Theek waisa hi laksh ko bhi lagta hoga..
Nikita: Main kuch samjhi nahi..
Friend: Niki..bohot simple hai.. Dekh laksh ko uski patni se pyaar nahi milta.. Iska matlab agar usko tu uski patni ke jaisa pyaar degi to..to wo teri taraf attract hoga…
Nikita: Nahi.. Wo us ragini se bohot pyaar karte hain..
Friend: Dekh.. Aadmi ussi taraf bhaagta hai jaha'n se usey pyaar milta hai..to tu usey pyaar de.. Wo teri taraf aayega..wo nahi rok payega khud ko tujhse pyaar karne se..
Nikita was hearing her carefully.. She was thinking what to do next…then she wiped her tears..
Nikita: Yes.. Ab koi nahi hai mera.. Sivaye laksh ke.. Wo apne pyaar ko paane ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hain to main bhi kar sakti hu…aur ab main karungi bhi…agar wo laksh se pyaar nahi karti to usko laksh ki zindgi me rehne ka bhi koi haq nahi hai.. Laksh mere hain.. (In a louder voice) Haan laksh… Tum Mere Ho… bass mere ho..
On the other side..
Laksh, ragini and anpurna..reached MM.. They all came in the main hall and saw DP moving here and there in tension..
Ap: Kya hua ji?
Dp: Anpurna.. Ek buri khabar hai..
Ap: buri khabar..hey bhagwaan.. Ab kaunsi buri khabar hai.. ?
