( I have went to other village for two days you haven’t taken care of her nd you stayed in office for two days nd now you are taking her is hospital will anyone say exactly what had happened????)
By listening to this laksh remained quite,maya came and sat next to him
Maya ( softly ) : woh choti hai , naa samjhi hai Is halat men chirchra pan aa jata hai tum samjhdar ho,soch samjh ke kaam lo. .wo tumhare bache ki maa hai. ( She is small nd she isn’t matured nd in this state she suffers with mood swings but you are matured na think before anything you do shw is mother of your child
By saying this She paused,smiled,got up nd looks at stairs and says
Maya : aa gai ragini. ( Ragini came )
Maya ( lovingly ) : uttara tum ne ise bohut pyara tayar kiya hai. . ( Uttara you had made her ready so lovely )
She put kajal on ragini’s neck and says
Maya : kisi ki nazar naa lage.( No one’s evil eye shouldn’t fall on you )
By saying this She picked thali nearby,put little sindoor near her maang In return of ragini look,she gave her wide smile to ragini and laksh got up,turned to face them He looked her in amaze She was wrapped in simple red sari,few red bangles in her hands,jhumkas in her ears Her hairs were straightened neatly,kajal in her eyes…Instead of all this she was looking body widout soul
Uttara(maid dt brought her down) : mein ne kya kiya hai ye khud hi itni pyari hein. ( What have I done she herself is an lovely one )
By listening to uttara Maya took out her kangans,slipped in ragini’s hands In reply of all their question gaze,she smiles and says
Ragini : ye h mere liye zyada kimti hai. ( For me it’s so valuable )
Maya ( to laksh ) : deyr ho rahi hai,tum log jao,mujhe phone kar ke bata dena tumhe to pata hai na mujhe kitni fikr hoti hai.( Now it’s becoming late you Gus go and yeah call and tell me you know na how much I worry about you guys )
In car, She quietly kept looking out through the glass window,slowly touch her flat stomach Her eyes filled with tears,she thought of her early days “her father had died in her childhood,because of snake bitting She could not recoverd from this lose if her mother love was not with her Years passed,she was living happy & content life wid her Maa She had been working in Maheshwari’s haveli for 8 years ragini rememberd the day when she went inside the haveli for 1st time,4 months ago.She informed maalkin( maya ) about her mom illness & asked for leave maya not only sent her mother to city hospital for treatment but gave ragini place to live in haveli and took her responsibility too After one month,In kitchen ragini was preparing lunch for laksh uttara came from bazar,she kept da grocery on table nd turns towards ragini and says
Uttara : mahrnai ke paas fursat hi nahi hai mujh se baat krne kii. ( Queen haven’t had time to talk with me )
Ragini ( with laugh ) : kya karun itna kaam hai.( What shall I do I have so much work )
Uttara (with confuse ) : mujhe samjh nahi aata Maalkin ne laksh maalik ke sare kaam tere sar par kyun laga di hein?. .un ke daftar mein khana bhi tu le kar jati hai. .wo raat ko teen teen baje tak kaam karte hein toh unhe chaey bana kar deti hai. .subha unhe uthane ki zimedari bhi tere sar mujhe toh lagta hai tu ne unhe god le liya hai.( But I don’t understand one thing why mam prefers you to do laksh sir’s work oy you should go to his chamber to give his food nd when he works until 3’o clock then you will stay awake nd make him tea nd morning too you should make him make awake I sometimes think that you had adopted him )
Both girls brust into laugh nd ragini says to uttara that
Ragini : Maalkin un se bohut pyar karti hai naa,un ki bohut fikr karti hein Aur sahi bhi hai,wo apna bilkul khyal nahi rakhte..na khane ka hosh,na peene ka hosh bas har waqt kaam kaam.( Mam loves sir na so she cares about him more nd It’s true that he won’t take care of himself he doesn’t mind about eating,sleeping he only minds about his work )

I have heard that the boys who came from other countries are not that much good and you stay will him alone )
By listening to uttara’s question ragini kept ‘chamcha’ ( spoon ) down nd turns towards her
Ragini ( with assure ) : n ahi. .aesa kuch nahi hai.( No it’s not like that )
Nd ragini smiles widely and says again that
ragini : woh bohut acche hein ( he is so nice )
But she She pauses for some second nd again says
Ragini ( making face ) : aur us karthik bandar se bohut aache hein kamina jab dekho ghurta rehta hai. ( He is far better than that karthik bast**d every time he sees like he is gonna eat )
Uttara ( laughs ) : ssh. .dheere bol.( Sshh..say slowly )
Uttara ( with teasingly ) : aur humari chikni chameli ko kon nahi ghurta. ( But who won’t see our hot lady)
By listening to this ragini shook her head She excitdly sat on kitchen counter nd says
Ragini : tujhe pata hai jab Maalkin ne mujhe kaha tha ki bade maalik ki sari zimedari meri hai,har kaam mujhe Karna hai,mein bohut ghabra gaii thi.mujhe dar lag raha tha pata nahi woh kese honge lekin woh bohut zyada aache hein un mein kisi bhi tarhan ki koi galat aadat nahi hai paise ka bilkul garur nahi hai kisi ke sath bhi bura vevyhar nahi karte…naa zuban buri,naa dil bura,aur naa neyat buri.( You know what when mam said that I should take care of sir’s everything then I literally scared I thought how he will be but after seeing him I relaxed he is so nice he talks with everyone so nicely he doesn’t show attitude as he is rich he doesn’t have any bad habits he is perfectly good in all terms )
Uttara : sach? ( Really )
Ragini : aur tumhe pata hai naa maalkin ne mujhe kaha hai jab tak bare maalik soey naa mein un ke pass hi khari rehun pehle hafte unhune ne mujhe zabrdsti jaa kar sone ko bola mujhe bhi bohut neend aa rahi thi,par mein kya karti maalkin ne to mana kiya tha naa. .mein wahi bethe bethe so gaii. aur jab meri aankh kholi mere paas kambal bhi tha..aur wo tab bhi kaam kar he the.( Nd u know na mam ordered me that till sir sleeps I should stay near him on first week he literally asked me to go and sleep but I can’t go na then I sat thete nd slept when I awake after some time he covered me with comforter nd he still stay awake and is working )
Uttara : tu aur teri neend.( U nd ur sleep )
Ragini ( with embarras ) : kal to mein ne chaey mein shakr ki jaga namak daal diya galti se. ( Yesterday in tea I put salt instead of sugar )
Uttaraa ( in horror ) : phir maalik ne tujhe danta?( Then had sir scolded u???)
Ragini ( with biting her lower lip ) : unhune ne chaey ka pehla ghunt le kar bilkul cartoon jesi shakal banaii,mein apni hasi rouk hi nahi paii.( When he took his first sip he made his face like cartoon nd I couldn’t able to control my laugh )
Uttara : pagal,phir? ( Mental later ???)
Ragini ( with giggle ) : mujhe dekh kar woh khud hi hans pare. . un ki muskurahat buht pyarii hai. ( By seeing me he himself laughed his smile is so lovely one )
Uttara : tu kaam karti reh,mujhe maalkin bula rahi hein,mein jaa rehi hun. ( U do ur work mam is calling me I’m going )
A month flew away, ragini was waitng for laksh maya came out of her room nd sees ragini nd says
Maya : ragini tum itni raat ko yahan kyun bethi ho?. . laksh abhi tak nahi aaya? ( Ragini y r u sitting here haven’t laksh still returned ???)
Ragini : nahi. .maalik abhi tak nahi aaey aap ko kuch chahey? ( No sir haven’t come do you want anything???)
Maya ( sleepy ) : haan aaj uttara ne kamre mein thanda paani nahi rakha. ( S today uttara haven’t kept cool water in room )
Ragini : mein la deti hun. ( I will bring )
Saying this She takes water jug from Maya’s hands nd She came back with water jug,went inside maya room maya took water from her nd says
Maya : meri baat hui hai karthik se,laksh nikal gaya hai wahan se,15 minute mein puhnchta hoga. ( I talked with karthik laksh started from there nd he will be here in 15 minutes )
Ragini ( with noding ) : me in khana garam kar deti hun. ( I will heat food )
Maya : hun. .ye dudh le jao yahan se mera maan nahi hai peene ka. ( Take this milk from here I haven’t had any mood to drink it )
By listening to maya ragini picked up milk glass, but maya stops her nd says
Maya : aesa karo,tum ye dudh pilo. ( Do one thing u drink it )
Ragini : nahi maalkin. ( No mam )
Maya lovingly : kyun nahi?apni maalkin ki baat nahi mano gi?. .apne khane,peene ka khyal rakho,kya jawab dungi mein tumhari Maa ko.( Y don’t u drink??take care of yourself otherwise what shall I say to ur mother?? )
Ragini ( with smile ) : aap buht achi hein maalkin.( U r so good mam)
Maya : phir jaldi se dudh khatam karo. ( Then drink it fast )
She drank it all later laksh comes She asked him for dinner,but he refuses He was not able to walk properly bcoz of his drunken stage She guides him toward his room She herself was feeling so tired & dazed…Her senses felt so weak to protest on his touch Her head spinned,her eyes shut,she fall on him Her mind awoke,she forcefully pushed up her heavy eyelids She became petrified feeling rhythm of breath near her Soon her mind registered some one’s grip around her waist Her body turned cold,her heart refused to beat She gatherd all her strength,slowly turned her face. . . laksh maheshwari was sleeping peacefully She wore clothes with shivering hands Her tears were not stopping for a moment She wanted to erase all this,she wanted to scream,she wanted to die She decided to go so far from here She was scaredShe wrapped dupatta around her sinful body,ran outside bump with maya She screamed in pain as maya pulled her hairs hardly.
Maya : tum wahi kaho gi,wahi karo gii jo men chahti hun agar tum ne meri baat nahi mani to mein sare gaun ko sab kuch bata dungi. .tumhare charitar par itne ilzam lagaun gii k gaoun wale tumhe aur tumhari maa ko zinda jala denge.( U will speak what I say nd u will do what I will make you do nd if u don’t agree with me then I will say to all village people now what have u done nd I will make u as an characterless person nd I will say more nd make those village members to burn u and ur mother to alive )
Ragini ( with pleading ) : mein ne kuch nahi kya. ( I haven’t done anything )
Maya ( with evil smile ) : woh toh mein janti hun naa,tum aur laksh bekasur ho Yeh sab meri saazish thi lekin tumhari baat ka yakin koi nahi kare ga,yaha tak ki laksh bhi nahi.( Yeah I knew that u nd laksh are innocent nd all this is my plan but who will believe u??no one will believe u nd Atlast laksh too don’t believe you )
Ragini ( with cry ) : mujhe yahan kyun band kar rakha hai,mujhe jane do.( Y are u tieingme here plz let me go )
Maya ( pushes her back on hay ) : apni manzil ke itna kareeb puhnchne ke baad men har nahi manu gii. ( I have came so close to my target now I won’t loose any chance )
By saying this She pauses for some seconds and again says to ragini
Maya : dekho mein tumhe chor dungi,tumhe to pata hai na beta men itni buri nahi hun. ( See I will leave u but u know me na I’m not that bad )
By listening to this ragini stared at her so helplessly.
Maya : mein tumhari Maa ka pura illaj karaun gi mein tumhe bohut paisa dungi, tum dusre gaoun mein jaa kar apni maa ke sath nayi zindagi shuru karna.( I will treat ur mother nd I will give u money then u can go nd stay with ur mother in another village nd start a fresh life )
Ragini : mujhe koi paise nahi chahey bhgwan ke liye mujhe jane do.( I don’t need any money plz for god’s sake let me go )
May : ek baar ye bacha is dunya mein sahi,salamat aa jaey phir tum aazad ho. ( Let this child come safely to this works then I will set u free )
By listening to this Her breath caught in her throat,her eyes turned big in shock nd asks maya
Ragini : konsa baccha? ( Which child???)
Maya : wahi jo tumhar pait mein hai laksh maheshwari ka bacha ( d child in ur womb laksh Maheshwari’s child )
. By listening to Maya’s words Her face turned white,her whole world shook.
Maya : naa khud preshan ho,naa mujhe preshan karo 9 mahine ke baat hai,baccha paida ho jaey. .tum apne raste,hum apne raaste yahan se bohut dour chali jana,sab bhool jana.( U don’t disturb me nd I won’t disturb you for 9 months once when this child comes in this world u r in ur way nd we r in our ways then u can go from here to so far )
By saying this maya starts to go from there suddenly she stops nd turns to ragini nd says
Maya ( In warning tone ) : agar tum ne meri baat nahi maani,toh tumhari maa ki saanse cheen ne mein mujhe zyada deyr nahi lage gi Aagar tum ne koi bhi hushyari ki,is bache ko ki nuksan puhnchaya toh mein laksh ko keh dungi ki tum ne use phsaya hai tum soch bhi nhi sakti wo tumhare sath kya kare ga.( If u don’t agree to my words then it won’t take much time to kill ur mim nd if u show any cleverness nd do any thing to this child then I will say to laksh that u did all this to trap him then u cann’t even think what he will do with you )
By saying this She went out,asked man to lock the door from outside.
Ragini ( whispers ) : Maa. .mein Maa b anne wali hun? . .Maa woh rishta joh ek aurat ko mukamal karta hai us insaan ne diya jis ka mujh se koi rishta hi nahi hai. .( Mother…I’m going to become mother but I’m becoming mother of child of a person to whom I don’t have any relation with him )
Bitter tears flowed down from her eyes Maya’s words echoed in her ears,she hugged her knees
. Karthik just walked in laksh’s study nd says
Karthik : bhai aap ne sign kardiya? ( Bhai have u signed it??)
Laksh thoughts broke bcoz of his voice karthik looked at file which seem untouched.
Karthik ( with frowned ) : what is this? Raat gaii baat gaii,aap kab tak gam manate raho ge? ( Night gone matter gone y r u sitting like this ?)
Karthik : I know u feel bad,but aap ne hosh men to rape nahi kiya naa? ( U haven’t raped her in your conscious na??)You were drunk.
By listening to karthik words laksh shut his eyes in pain of disgust.
Karthik : aur aap ke liye sab kuch khud hi theek hogya,us ladki ne koi scene create nahi kya,mom ke mana karne ke bawajud wo khud hi kahien chali gaii… aur shayd ab tak to kahien ja kar suicide bhi karliya hoga.( Nd for u the matter got cleared by itself she haven’t created ant scene nd after mind denial also she herself left from here nd by now she would’ve done her suicide too )
Laksh roared : karthik… .enough. mujhe akela chor do,get out.( Leave me alone )
After saying this He walked toward window,frustated ran fingerz in hairs Just the thought of something happend to her stabbed his heart maya enters inside nd says
Maya : chilane se sach nahi badal jata.( By shouting truth cant be changed )
By listening to Maya’s words laksh turned to face her.
Maya ( pretended to be sad ) : mujhe to ab bhi yakeen nahi aa raha,tum aesa kar sakte ho.( I can’t even believe now that u would have done like this )
By listening this He just lowered his gaze
Maya : lekin is mein meri hi galti hai,mein tumhari kyal nahi rak paii kya jawab dungi men durga ko.( But it’s my fault I haven’t taken good care of you what will I answer to durga )
He turned his back: I’m sorry mom.
Maya : sirf sorry kafi nahi hai laksh.. wo ladki pregnant hai.( By saying sorry won’t be enough laksh she is pregnant )
He turned in shock.
Karthik : what ? aap us ladki se milo ho?( Have u met her ???)
Maya ( emotinally ) : maa hun na,bacchon ko kese un ke haal par chod dun dhundh liya mene use. ( I’m mother na how could I let my children suffer so I had searched her )
She cupped laksh face,which had turned white.
Maya : preshan mat ho ,mein hun naa mein sab sambhal lungi B as tum wada karo tum meri baat mano ge. .tum us se shadi kar rahe ho.( I will do everything alright please promise me that u will do what ever i say u will marry her )
Karthik shock : mom bhai us do thike ki ladki se shadi karenge? . . ye sab to hota rehta hai,kya zarurt hai?( Mom will bhai marry that low standard girl like this incidents will happens but what is the need of this ???)
Maya : sach mein nahi. .sirf jhoot. ( Not really by fake )

Maya ( continues) : haan sirf jhut,mein tumhari sagii maa nahi hun to kya hua?mein tum se pyar nahi karti mein janti hun tum shadi karna nahi chahte. .Aur ek naukrani se shadi kar ke mein tumhari zindgi kharab nahi karungi tumhe shadi ka jhut bolna pare ga,taake tumhare bache ko naam mil sake b as gaoun walo ko yehi pata chale ga,us ki maa bohut beemar hai,ragini ki wajah se operation karane ko tayar nahi thi is liye tum ne us se shadi karli. ek baar bacha ho jaey phir us se jhuti shadi ki tarhan jhuta talak le lena. . .koi bhi bahana kar dena,us ka cheritr theek nahi hai wagera.
Laksh eyes fall on ragini who was standng at door like a stone.Maya by feeling softness & guilt in his eyes,spoke to laksh that
Maya : use koi aitraz nahi,paise maange hen usne. . .mein humare waris ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hun.( She haven’t have any problem she asked money nd for our heir I can do anything )
Maya : us raat kya hua tha,sach to bhagwan hi janta hai In chote logon ka koi bhrosa nahi hota,dil se nahi dimag se kaam lena,baki tum khud samjhdar ho.( Nd that night too what happened god knows nd we all knows that these low standard people can do anything so don’t think from Herat think from mind nd i know u r mature enough to understand this
