Hello friends…My name is Diya and I am a die heart RagLak fan. Although SR has ended but RagLak can never be out of my mind… And so I have decided to write a ff on them.

JANAM JANAM JANAM SAATH CHALNA YUHIN
KASAM TUMHE KASAM AAKE MILNA YAHIN…
Mumbai-
Its Holi Festival craze on everyone. Kids are running throwing colours and water at each other.
A big house is shown. Inside the house a woman is shown who enters a room where everything is scattered on the ground. That lady makes an irritated face seeing the mess. Her face is revealed to be Janki.
Janki starts picking up things and keeping them on their place.
Janki- God… When will this girl learn to be systematic?… Always doing Masti… Always having fun…. That’s all she knows.
She cleans the room and heads out towards the hall.
“Ragini”, Janki calls out looking at all the directions.
Janki- Ragini, come here right now.
“Now what happened Janki? “, Shekhar says while coming out of his room.
Shekhar- Now what my daughter did?
Janki- Like always, she didn’t cleaned her room and god knows where she went.
Shekhar- Arre chodo na Janki… Bachchi hi toh hai (Leave it na Janki, she is a kid only)
Janki- Bachchi!!!! 21 saal ki ho gayi hai aapki ladli. (Kid!!! Your daughter is now 21 years old)
She again looks around the house.
Janki- Vaise bhi yesterday I had a fight with her….since then she is not talking to me.
Shekhar- Why?
Janki- Arre I told you na that my friend’s son is coming to Mumbai to complete his further studies and so I decided that he will stay with us in the upper room which is of Ragini’s. I asked her to come down and shift to another room but she is not ready to listen… She says that why should she give her room to anyone else and also that she won’t let any guy even step in her room… that is the reason for our fight.
Shekhar- Offo, itni si baat. Don’t worry, I will talk to her and she will understand.
Janki- Good, but where is your ladli?
Shekhar smiles- Where can she be.. Of course outside playing Holi with her friends….
Outside scene where people are busy playing holi…All kids and girls are running here and there while some boys are sitting in a line looking at a direction eagerly.
Boy1- Aayi kya? (Did she came?)
Boy2 peeping in that direction and smiles widely – Haan Aa gayi( Yes she came)
A girl in a white churidaar suit is shown running after those girls. Her hair left open. All the boys smile seeing her.
Boy3- Dekho aa gayi tum sabki bhabhi. (Look, here comes your bhabhi)
Boy4- Meri nahi teri bhabhi… Tum sab ki bhabhi(Not mine, she is your bhabhi)
Boy1- Arre both of you keep fighting, but at the end, she will be bhabhi of you all only.
Boy2- Abe ja ja.. Apni shakal dekh, tu aur vo kabhi nahi.. (First go and look at your face, you and her have no match)
Boy1- As if you look like Hrithik Roshan.
They all kept fighting on her topic and she continues chasing her friends. (Song starts to play of Chann Ke Mohalla from Action Reply movie)
JALI TOH BHUJHE NA
KASAM SE KOILA HO GAYI HAAN
LAGI HAI BHUJHE NA
KASAM SE TAUBA HO GAYI HAAN
Her eyes full of masti in them.. A naughty smile on her lips. And then her gorgeous face is shown, she is revealed to be Ragini.
JALI TOH BHUJHE NA
KASAM SE KOILA HO GAYI HAAN
She throws colours on her friends and laughs like a child. Boys kept getting flat on her mesmerising laugh.
LAGI HAI BHUJHE NA
KASAM SE TAUBA HO GAYI HAAN
She comes in the centre and throws colours in the air. She starts to spin around her friends and starts singing dancing with them.
MILA NA KOI AISA
MERE SAPNO KE JAISA
CHANN KE MOHALLA SAARA
DEKH LIYA…
She walks past by those boys singing those words and ignoring them. They look at each other in a disappointed manner.
JAWAANI CHADHTI JAAYE
KAREGA KAUN UPAAYE
CHANN KE MOHALLA SAARA
DEKH LIYA…
She keeps on dancing and her friends join her.. She looks around and acts to search for her dream guy making some cute expressions.
PYAAR KI HERA PHERI KARKE MERE SANG SE CHURA LE
YA MERE DIL KI BASTI NAINO SE LOOT LE
She sits at a place with people surrounding her and continues thinking about her dream guy.
DEKH KE WOH ALBELA MUJHE AKELA APNA BANA LE
HO GAYI NEENDEIN SASTI NAINO SE LOOT LE
From the other side a dashing boy holding a bag and backpack on his shoulders is shown coming to that direction. He is looking at people dancing around him and enjoying themselves. He gives a killer smile looking at them. His cute and shiny eyes are shown and then finally his handsome face… He is our handsome hero Laksh.

Ragini stands up and asks her friends about who can be his prince charming.
CHANN KE MOHALLA SARA DEKH LIYA…
She again starts spinning round gracefully. Her friends pick up some colours in their hands and comes towards her. Ragini starts running and this time they all chase her.
JAWAANI CHADTI JAAYE
KAREGA KAUN UPAAYE
CHANN KE MOHALLA SAARA…
Ragini stops singing as she collides with Laksh who was coming to that direction. Her friends throws Red gulal at both of them. Ragini looks at Laksh. Laksh looks at Ragini and the world around them seemed to stop….They both kept looking at each other with a different kind of feeling, the feeling they never felt for anyone else before. They both felt something strange, a strange connection with each other. They continue sharing their eye lock in silence.
Soon Janki comes out searching for Ragini and sees her.
“Ragini”, she calls out breaking their eye lock.
Both Ragini and Laksh come back to their senses and Ragini moves few steps away from him.
Ragini- Haan Maa..
Janki- Where were you, you also just become like a child with your friends.
Ragini gives her a small smile. Janki looks at Laksh holding the bag etc, and understood that he is the boy whom she mentioned to Shekhar.
Janki- Beta, are you Laksh?
Laksh- Ji Aunty.
Janki- I am Janki, your mother Sujata’s friend, you will stay with us only.
Laksh also smiles at her.
Ragini looks at him with anger.
Ragini- Achcha Ji, so you are that guy… Tell me one thing, can’t you afford staying at an apartment or some other place at rent? Why have you came here haan?
Laksh passes her a confused look and Janki stares at her angrily. She again looks at Laksh and gives him a fake smile.
Janki- Beta, don’t believe her. She is just joking.
Ragini was about to say something but Janki interrupts her.
Janki- Laksh you must be tired na, come inside and rest ok.
Laksh nods and goes with Janki passing a half angry look at Ragini.
Ragini puts her hands on her waist and stares at him entering her house.
Ragini to her friends- Did you saw him?
Friends- Haan dekha na, kitna handsome hai (Yes we saw him, he is so Handsome)
All the girls start blushing and Ragini looks at them in disbelief. She also goes back to her house and saw Laksh talking in a very friendly tone with Janki and Shekhar.
Janki- Laksh, your room is on the 1st floor, you go and rest there. After some time we will shift all of Ragini’s stuff out from that room.
Laksh nods and looks at Ragini who was staring at them with an angry pout. He ignores her stares and starts to go to his room when she comes and blocks his way.
Ragini- Hello Mr. Bin Bulaye Mehman… Don’t even think to enter in my room. Stay anywhere else but not in my room. Did you get it.
Laksh gets annoyed with her behaviour.
Laksh- First of all let me tell you that I am not a bin bulaya mehman.. Your mother herself agreed to keep me in this house… And secondly you seem to be a very dominating and mannerless girl but don’t try to mess with me. I respect your parents that is why I am saying nothing to you, but if once I will show my bad side, it won’t be good for you.
Ragini was taken aback. She thought that she would easily handle this boy but now things seem to get complicated for her.
Laksh walks past her and goes to her…. His room.
Later Janki shift Ragini’s stuff and gives Ragini a small room to live. Ragini tried hard to convince her mother but failed everytime.
At night
Laksh was keeping his clothes in the almirah while on the other side Janki was settling Ragini’s new small room. Ragini wasn’t talking to her at all and was looking outside the window.. Soon it starts raining and some rain drops fell on her face. She smiles a bit and closed her eyes feeling the cool breeze. Suddenly thunder struck and she gets scared.
Ragini- Lucky!!!! (She opens her eyes in fear saying his name and quickly shuts the window panes.)
Suddenly Laksh feels his heart sinking. He starts feeling restless and opens the windows of his room and looks out.
Ragini- Phir se yahi naam. Main kyun leti hoon ek aisa naam jiske baare mein main kuch bhi nahi janti… Phir bhi ek sukoon sa milta hai iss naam se, jaise mera saara darr khatam ho gya ho…. Jaise sab theek ho jayega. (Again I said this name… Why do everytime I call out a name about which I don’t know anything… Still I feel relieved, I feel secure whenever I say this name… I feel as if everything is going to be alright)
Laksh- Phir se wahi ehsaas. Kyon baar baar mujhe yeh lagta hai jaise koi mujhe bula raha hai… Aur main chah kar bhi uske liye kuch nahi kar paa raha….Kyon baar baar mujhe yeh mehsoos hota hai jaise mera koi apna kisi mushkil mein hai… Kaun hai yeh? (Again that feeling… Why do I always feel as if someone is calling me, and I am unable to help them… Why do I always feel as if someone very close to me is in trouble…Who could it be?)
He looks out of the window and so does Ragini from her room. Both keep staring at the night in silence.
