laksh has become a famous cartoonist and lives in new york with his father.his mother is in india handling her wedding planning business with sanskar.his parents are separated due to some misunderstanding but both of them miss each other a lot.sanlak have tried a lot of ways to patch them up but to no avail.

after one month
laksh reaches paris and is on a train to reach his office. an attendant comes to him
a:sir would u like something ??
l:no thank u
the attendant goes to another passenger who is sitting on the seat infront of his and asks the same question.that passenger is a girl
g:yes i will have a coffee.with very little sugar …brown one and about a tablespoon of milk…thank u
laksh feels that he has heard that voice somewhere else .he tries to ignore it but can’t hold any longer so he goes towards her seat..
l:excuse me madam
the girl was reading a magazine .hearing him she puts it down and her face is revealed
l:ragini???
r:laksh??? what are u doing here
laksh looks at her face it had lost its glow and her voice had lost its charm.he felt something was not right but then he didn’t say anything about it
l:u remember my cartoon characters hum tum??
r:haan
l:its crazy ragini…they have become so famous yaar.u know my boss told me a book on them in which i have to tell their love story(ragini started collecting her things and put them in her bag)…..and is it so boring that u are getting impatient??/
r:no its not that ….actually my station has come so i have to go ……bye

r:kartik is not there in my life any more
laksh gets confused but before he could say anything she deboards the train and the train starts moving
laksh goes to his head and gets thumbs up from him to start his work…..

laksh finds her no. in the phone book and calls her mother.she gives him her address and calls him to her house……

l:aunty i met ragini the other day and i felt with her way of talking that she has changed a lot
j:beta i will not lie to u but the ragini whom u knew back then is not the same she has become very quiet

hearing kartik’k name janki’s face turned pale which laksh didn’t notice
l:i asked her but she gave a very confusing reply that he is not with her anymore…..

j:kartik left my laado after and year of their marriage

j:i don’t know where he is .all i know is that he broke laado’s heart and left her shattered.
l:aunty please tell me everything…
j:as u know they went to usa after their marriage as he had got a job with a good package.his boss was malika taneja ………a divorcee and a very manipulative girl.she was stubborn who wreck havoc if anyone doesn’t do as her wish.she was very beautiful and kartik and malika used to spend a lot of time with each other due to their work.their close proximity used to make laado insecure but kartik assured her that there is nothing going on between the two.but one thing led to another and they both fell in love.on their first anniversary laado found them together on the same bed in their own house.she was so broken i can’t even explain her situation.when she confronted him that shameless creature admitted that he was having an extra marital affair with his boss.laado was broken .when i came to know about it i rushed there and took laado with me and we both came to india.she became so quiet that even being in the same room sometimes i had to confirm that she was there or not.one day i had to go to the market when i returned i saw that laado had tried to commit suicide by cutting her nerves (janki was crying recalling the horrible past and lucky was listening to it speechlessly)i rushed her to the hospital and the doctor there told me that she was 2 months pregnant but she had lost her baby due to excessive blood loss.that was final blow for us .a relative of mine even suggested remarriage but she didn’t agree because she loved him still.so to avoid all these topics she came here to paris with me.i don’t know what to say ?i have heard her sobbing all night long many times.
janki finished telling ragini’s past to him and she wiped her tear stricken face
l:aunty she had to go through so much.that cheapster how can do that to ragini.she loved him.
j:he not only hurt her heart but even tore her very being,her soul.she stayed mentally depressed for months so to deviate her attention i told her to start her own business.
l:u did right aunty and as for kartik i will hunt him down and force him to apologise to ragini.
j:no laksh i don’t want that even that animal’s shadow fall on my laado.we have come a long way now.there is no need to dig the past
