“Are u out of ur mind Ragini..u will marry Laksh and go to their house..to those bastards house…do u have any idea what they will do to u..They will make ur lyf hell..today dey had tarnished ur character..tomorrow they will completely ruin u..no…never..I cant let this happen..we r leaving dis city and that’s final..”Sumi shouted at the top of her voice when Ragini informed them her motive.
Ragini-“nd Do u think that will end all our troubles..Maa.. this world his full of devils lyk those Maheshwari’s..from how many we will run and till when..”She hold Sumi’s hand-“Maa I know u fear…u fear for my safety..and dis is their biggest weapon..our fear..but not anymore..now they will fear…and bad..”
Sumi turned to Shekhar who was sitting on d sofa lost in his own thoughts-” wont u tell her anything..stop her please..”she begged..”she will listen to u..only u” she shook Shekhar..
“Huh”he replied as if all these moments she was talking to d wall..”I asked u to stop her..stop her before she ruin herself..”she begged again…
Shekhar got up on his feet and sternly spoke-“I have always taught my daughters to stand for justice..now if she wants to follow dat path..I cant stop her..”He came near Ragini and patted her-“Go Beta..go fight…I m always there for u come what may…” He hugged her..
“and I m wid u too” Swara joined d hug while Sumi cried helplessly…

“We r very sorry Mr. Laksh Maheshwari .. we didn’t gave u our contract earlier hearing fake news against ur company..bt now since we r confirmed dat all was rubbish we hope u r okay with d deal” d investor extended his hand towards Laksh..
Laksh shook d hand-“Dats my pleasure..lets den get back to work..” Investor nodded and left..Laksh turned nd smirked..His POV-“Miss Bose..I thought defaming u will be ur loss only bt I didn’t knew it would be my victory as well..”
Bose House, Alipore
Surfing d internet for more Dan two hours Ragini angrily banged d laptop screen down.. “Checked every possible news nd site bt couldn’t find anything suspicious against those Maheshwari” she huffed looking at Swara who was all the while watching outside d window engrossed in her own thoughts…Losing all hope Ragini sadly sighed -“I wish Nikhil was there…he would have definitely got some clue..”
Swara sensed Ragini’s sad voice..She walked to her placing her hand on Ragini’s shoulder -” Don’t think of that coward Di..he doesn’t deserve to be with u..” Ragini nodded with a “Hmmm” but Swara could easily make out she was not at all okay..
“and Besides don’t underestimate the power of Swara Bose..when I m here why fear..”
Swara grinned and Ragini couldn’t hold much from finally smiling..
“Di..Mr. Mehta..” Swara squealed looking down at the laptop screen after scouring for the clue for quite some time..Ragini immediately slogged to her “Mr. Mehta? “she asked clearly with confusion on her face..
Swara turned to face Ragini-“Di..u remembered Mr. Mehta..he was the one accepting his crime about the use of low quality equipments when u catches the Maheshwari’s..”
“Yeah..”Ragini replied a second later recalling the incident..
Swara turned towards the laptop screen-“The record here shows Mr. Mehta was working for the company for 20 years and he was one of the trusted employee of the company..dont u think its too strange he was caught so soon if he really had committed those crime…I mean..firstly I don’t think he can betray the Maheshwari’s after working for so many years with them..and If he really had its very easy for him to masquerade his acts as being an old employee he very well know the hideouts and besides he was caught only when u exposed the Maheshwari’s and not before. Too much of strangeness it is besides he was compelled to be the culprit. ”
Seconds ran in silence in that room and when realisation dawn upon Ragini squealed in happiness.-“I will never underestimate the power of Swara Bose” She gave Swara an arm hug who proudly raised her imaginary collars up
Ragini sighed happily-“Now I got a lead..Thank u Swara..”
“Diiii…”Swara dragged deciphering her fake anger to Ragini for telling her thanks..
Ragini immediately realised-“Oh sorry..”
“Diiiii..” Swara dragged again..
“Are Baba..okay..I love u..”Ragini said out of nervousness and they both chuckled.
Mehta House, CIT Road
It was 4 o’clock in the evening and just two hours left for Ragini to complete her challenge. She and Swara headed to Mr. Mehta’s house for getting a strong lead as of now he was the only one who can help them. Seated in his drawing room, the two narrated their condition and waited anxiously for his response.
“What do u want from me.” asked Mr. Mehta directly not wanting to beat around the bush.
Ragini immediately spoke-“A clue against Laksh..I know u have worked for them for years and you very well know what’s his weakness and I just want to touched his raw nerve to bring about his downfall..
Mr. Mehta thought for a minute and then got up on his feet-“Am sorry but I cant help it..I have worked for them for years and I cant betray them. M really sorry and you can leave now.”
Ragini -“And what’s your loyalty paid u..A tag of Cheater, A culprit in everyone’s eyes, a slap on ur honesty. She got up and continued when he looked at her in shock -“I know everything.. These people are demons. They even care for the lives of innocent before making that cheap products. They can crumble anyone for their benefits. . Dont u think its enough now..I just want to stand for what is right..Tomorrow if ur daughter wants to stand for justice will u stop her too.”
Seconds befell in silence before then Mr. Mehta walked off the room leaving a flabbergasted and heartbroken Swara and Ragini in the room but within a minute he came back with files making both of them immensely happy.
Mr. Mehta extended those files towards Ragini-“These are the contracts paper which Maheshwari’s had signed till date. I always kept one copy with me for fine studies. They can help u and I will pray that my daughter become just like u.” He smiled and patted Ragini who took the files and thanked him.
Hot Bird Pub, Armenian Street
“Cheers” Glasses clinked together and the two people gulped down the drink in one go. Edward after pouring another shot of drink in both their glasses asked -“And why do I got this friends evening out..”
Laksh -“Its just that I wanted to celebrate for winning another war..He smirked “and to thank u too for helping me” he added and gulped down his drink.
Edward-“Don’t tell me Lucky u got some ethics coz u r thanking me. Common bro anything for u afterall we r friends right.”
“Friend or devils” Laksh smirked and they both laughed devilishly before gulping another shot .
Mehta House , CIT Road
Sitting in the study of Mehta House, Ragini and Swara were going through the files for three hours.”Mr. Mehta..every contract has both Laksh and Durga Prasad Maheshwari’s signature but this one has only Laksh signature.” Asked Ragini giving him the file to take a look.
Mr Mehta intently looked at the contract -“Yes..But whenever a contract is made..Both Laksh Sir and DP sir signs it. So, it might be either DP sir forgot to sign or ..
“Or Laksh had made a deal without his knowledge” Ragini completed and he nodded.
Swara interrupt-” And Di..here the accounts says the contract caused Maheshwari’s immense loss”
Mr. Mehta thought for a second and then spoke-“I guess Laksh Sir made a deal without DP Sir knowledge and that deal caused him a big loss and As far as I realised Laksh Sir is too scared of DP sir so he might not have informed him out of fear and that’s why we don’t know about the deal.”
A moment of silence ruled over the room. All the information kept running in Ragini’s head and finally joining the two and two together she banged her hand on the wall confidently-“Got it..”she chimed leaving Swara and Mr. Mehta confused and she turned to them to explain.
Somewhere on Road
Driving his Mercedes Car Laksh was Inebriated humming all the 90s song when his phone buzzed with a MMS from an unknown number flashing around. He halted the car sideways and swiped his phone to play the MMS but what he saw next made him frozen. It was image of the deal that turned out to be his biggest mistake. For he had kept the matter hidden but how can someone know about it he thought. He wiped his sweat of but just then his phone rang with the same no. Answering the call he fumed-“U b*t*h..who are u and how do u got the deal papers.”
Ragini laughed-“Relax Laksh..its me Ragini Bose..or should I say Mrs. Ragini Laksh Maheshwari..U remembered my challenge..Well its still one hour left for that and see I completed it..”
Laksh sighed-“Oh..so its u..I underestimated u and ur childish challenge..but don’t u dare mess wid me ..U forget how I tarnished ur character..next time I might kill u.
Ragini smiled at his anxiousness–“okay..Kill me..but before that let me send this to Mr. Maheshwari..your dad..I am sure after watching this he will dis obey u ..and u will just remain like a piece of shit..or he might even kill u..”
Laksh clenched his fist in anger..All he wanted was to throttle Ragini’s neck but now he needs to save himself. If his dad come to know about the deal..he will be finished..and how can he expect anything else when he had signed the deal without his knowledge and that deal caused him loss of 80 Crores which he Edward helped him to repay. He closed his eyes to calm himself and then spoke- Don’t send this too Dad..I beg u..I will do anything u want me to do.. I will marry u but please don’t send this to Dad..” Ragini ended the call smiling. This was her first step towards justice and now she had vowed to make them pay..
Precap-RagLak married and Ragini got the biggest shock of her life .
