Ragini Lakshya Maheshwari (Chapter 2)

Ragini Lakshya Maheshwari sounds like a powerful name and it coincidentally matches this plot of this story. Haha! Enjoy Ragini lovers!!

SS – Ch 2:

Woken up from the moment, Ragini opens her eyes upon hearing the door open, she clearly knew who it was.

“Ragini. . .” The voice tickled her ears and she closed her eyes in frustration and anger rather than pain.

“Just leave from here! I don’t want to see you anywhere near me!” She yelled as anger overtook her, she had to close her eyes to avoid seeing the face of the person who had entered from the door.

“You want more time, take more time!”

The door slammed shut and Ragini opened her eyes, allowing tears to escape.

“Main Lakshya ki thi aur Lakshya ki hi rahoongi.” Ragini murmurs to herself and closed her eyes yet again to drown herself in the blissful memories.

Flashback: (Continue)

Straight after the exam, a break was declared, surprising some of the students, Lakshya, who was following Ragini clashes into someone and stops.

“Sorry” Lakshya apologised without looking at the person and walked forward, soon he felt a hand on his shoulder, stopping him.

“This time I’m sparing you but next time be careful!” The voice of that person reaches upto Lakshya’s eardrum, irritating him. The hand was taken off and Lakshya turns, he sees the person in the green shirt walking away with his back faced towards him and before he could follow him, few people pulled him away.

“Lucky, are you mad? Do you even know you you were about to follow?!” Kavya, who dared Lakshya to rag Ragini on his second day of college.

Lakshya urf Lucky Maheshwari, a newcomer, had joined 3 days before Ragini and won million of hearts already and of course, mainly the hearts belonged to girls, he joined the group in which Kavya, Nikhil and Ray were, Ray and Nikhil got impressed by him but Kavya didn’t and thus gave him the dare.
“No, I don’t know who that idiot is.” Lakshya replied.

Kavya pulled him to the side with slight anger.

“Shhh, will you get us killed? I knew you were trouble and now was about to witness it!” Kavya utters and crosses her arms while glaring at Lakshya. Lakshya eyes her confusingly as he doesn’t understand.

“He’s the same guy from list one, remember…” Nikhil trials off and walks towards them.

“Sahil Bulreja?” Lakshya asks as he remembers.

“Yup, he’s the same Sahil Bulreja who the college told us to spare and not mess with, so leave him na and let’s go eat, I’m starving.” Ray interrupts as he jumps in front of the three.

Nikhil and Kavya agree and walk forward followed by Ray.

“Sahil Bulreja” Lakshya’s mind speaks, leaving Lakshya in thoughts.

“Uske baare mein soch ke pet puja kar le ga kya?” Nikhil queries sarcastically and interrupted Lakshya’s thoughts. Lakshya looks at him as Nikhil drags him.

The 20 minutes break was over, the bell had rang and all of the students headed towards their lesson after emptying the canteen and the playground. Lakshya and Kavya enter the science class which was compulsory for the students to do and gain a degree in alongside with Maths in KILC. Lakshya’s eyes examined the classroom, his grin appeared as soon as his eyes land on Ragini, who hides her face behind her book after noticing Lakshya.

“Seh! He saw me!” Ragini whispers to herself, sounding annoyed and puts her book down, facing the other way.

Lakshya sees a seat behind Ragini and walks in that direction after Kavya had taken a seat besides one of the female student in the corner, Ragini’s bench was singular. As Lakshya moved forward, his foot trapped with the loop handle of a bag that was on the floor and trips forward, but before falling and causing any embarrassment, he holds on to Ragini’s bench and stops inches away from her face, she slowly turns towards him and their noses touch which shocks Ragini but she looks at him worriedly while he was surprised and he froze in that position with the trapped leg up after freeing itself. Time seems to have frozen for Lakshya, he lost himself into the depth of her eyes, not knowing where he was, what he was doing and in which position he had froze.

Flashbacks and memories stop projecting as soon as Ragini had dozed off to sleep, on the floor, making Lakshya’s photo frame her pillow and her own saree as her blanket, but that wouldn’t give her comfort or keep her warm for very long right?

Dozed off into peaceful sleep after a time which was alleged on Lakshya, Ragini’s painful tears dry, giving her an opportunity to relax before entering her painful world again.
