Here we go..
When Rajkumari Kamalanayani met Lord Krishna after she was cursed, weeping in her room… She heard a voice, “Putri” and gently raised her head behind the couch and wiping off her face.
“Pithashree… Please come in, why are you standing near the door…” said Kamala by burying her sorrow in her eyes.
“Yeah sure… Actually I wanted to reveal a secret and that’s why I came here..” said Lord Krishna entering her room with difference…
“Secret…” asked Kamala by clearing the couch and allowing him to sit…
“It is something that you need now and see this..” Lord Krishna said by handing over her a ring that he never used to remove…
“I think I have seen this Pithashree…” said Kamala wiping her never ending tears.
“It was given by my love, so I never remove it…” on hearing this from Lord Krishna, Kamala’s eyes filled of tears thinking about her curse…
Gently patting over her head, Lord Krishna said “I know all that happened… and I am proud of you… My secret is also about someone, who did almost the samething that you did this day…”
“Who is that…” asked Kamala turning her face away..
“People call her as my love… but she is actually my soul… My Radha… I was even called by her name – RadhaKrishna…” completed Lord Krishna..
“Does Mata know about this” asked Kamala… “Yes, they all know… It is something this whole Universe knows…” replied Krishna with glorious face.
“This isn’t secret then…” replied Kamala out of irritation and started to concentrate on other tasks like cleaning her bed…
“She took up a curse for me and forgotten everything including me but not our love…” added Lord Krishna. This made Kamala to drop the blanket she held and stood stunned…
“Radha bina… Is Krishn Aadhaa hain...” said Lord Krishna and started explaining their divine union…
Kamala came and sat near his feet…
“She was cursed by my devotee who felt that, she took advantage over me that, she will forget everything about herself and myself and take birth as human… But, she was strong enough to take another vow that, she will not see this Universe before she sees me in this birth… When I met her for the first time, her lotus-eyes opened wide and smiled broad at me… Fate also, had to support our love and we both grew up at Vrindavan, playing flute, dancing together and she always loves to rest her head on my left shoulders… Radhe! She filled my life out of joy and love… A girl of simplicity, my Shakti herself took birth before my arrival to support me… ” extended Lord Krishna and Kamala was able to visualize all that happened…
“When she attained age, her vivah was arranged with another yadava.. but, it was warded off by both of our efforts.. but, I would call it by our true love…”
“But, I couldn’t even think about the second of our separation…” said Lord Krishna with tears in his eyes…
“Why do you have to separate from her???” asked Kamala…
“I also had other duties to be fulfilled… I had to kill Kansa and free your Daada Vasudevji and Daadi Devaki maa… Fates changed… I had to leave for Mathura from Vrindavan with Balram Dau… I was unable to take her with me physically but, she remains as my Shakti every second forever…” said Lord Krishna with a heavy heart..
“Before leaving, she presented this to me… this ring with peacock designs as her power to stay with me forever… So, I never used to remove it… not even during any of my wedding… I use to stare at it during 8 of my Vivahas before taking vows with your mothers…”
He stood up from his seat and got back his ring that, belongs to Mata Radharani…
“I thought that her story might create positivity in you at this point of time…” said Lord Krishna and headed back towards the door.
“But, why didn’t you marry her… Vrindavan isn’t that far… Also, did you atleast see her after that…” questioned Kamalanayani…
The only reply she was able to get was a heavy hearted smile from him and he left…
