The TV show RadhaKrishn has been entertaining the audience consistently even in these tough times with its storyline, tracks and plots. The show is not only entertaining the audience but also raising their morale by showcasing various facets of Krishna and Radha. While the current plot focuses on Lord Hanuman and his relation with Lord Krishn, the audience are in for yet another surprise in the upcoming episodes.
The upcoming plot in the show will showcase the story of Goddess Alakshmi. For the unversed Alakshmi was the elder sister of Goddess Lakshmi who is considered to be the bringer of misfortune and poverty. According to mythology, it is believed that Alakshmi was born during the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) by Devtas and Asurs together.
In a recent interview with BT Mallika talks about her portrayal of Alakshmi, she said, “The upcoming track on the show will showcase the epic tale of Alakshmi. Essaying her character has been a challenge in itself. I have been given a new look for this new storyline. I will be donning multiple looks, one of which I will be seen in black attire with dark make-up. While playing an adverse role on television is a new stint for me I am excited to venture into this new genre. I hope I will be able to do justice to this character and viewers accept my portrayal of Alakshmi.”
