Bhargavi leaves house and thinks Srinivas will never return from where he has gone. She greets her last saltute to Venkatrigi. Bhrigu searches for Bhargavi and breaks down. Srinivas also searches for Bhargavi and cries looking at the places they used to meet. Bhargavi walks senselessly. Bhrigu returns home. Khyati asks if he found Bhargavi. Bhrigu says he didn’t and says surely Srinnivas must be behind this. Vasu walks to him and confronts him for fixing Bhargavi’s alliance with him when he knows that Bhargavi loves Srinivas and making joke out of him in front of everyone.
Bhrigu prays Mahadev to send back his Bhargavi/Lakshmi to him. Srinivas walks to him and says he should be happy instead that his Sri left him and even Bhrigu. Bhrigu shouts its Srinivas’ conspiracy.
Bhargavi reaches Karveerpur temple and notices it closed. She notches Panditji leaving without entering the temple and asks reason. Panditji says years ago, lovers used to hide in this temple and marry secretly, but when villagers found out about it, they opposed and closed the temple. He asks if she came for marriage here. She imagines Srinivas and says she married someone already in her mind. He asks if she wants to go to some other temple. She says no. He leaves praying for her. She lifts a lamp and enters temple.
Srinivas reminds Bhrigu the boon he sought from him and respecting his wish, he gave his wife Lakshmi as a daughter to Bhrigu, but Bhrigu tried to hold her in greed. He says just like wealth moves from one place to another, even Lakshmi moves and only stays in Narayan’s heart; Bhrigu forgot that and is bearing the consequence of Lakshmi’s curse; now he can see what it means to be without Sri. Temple lamps glow with Bhargavi’s entry and lamps at Bhrigu’s house blow off.
Bhrigu accepts his mistake and says Srinivas is right that he got greedy and lost Sri because of that. He demands punishment for his sin. Srinivas says Bhargavi chose a path which is very difficult and seeing his own daughter in pain is Bhrigu’s repentence. Bhargavi prays Narayan that she came here taking an oath that she will never physically marry anyone.
Precap: Villaers refuse to let Bhargavi stay in Karveerpur until they find out who her husband is and refuse to give her food. Srinivas thinks villagers will be hungry for insulting Bhargavi and keeping her hungry.
