Ranveer Singh Malik, who is known for his role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has been roped in to essay a pivotal role in the upcoming show Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. Ranveer will be essaying the role of Shabir aka Mohan’s brother in the show.
Shabir Ahluwalia, who was essaying the lead role in Kumkum Bhagya is playing the lead role in the show while actress Neeharika Roy will be essaying the female lead Radha opposite Shabir. Now according to the latest reports, Ranveer has been finalized to play the role of Shabir’s brother Rahul. His role of a carefree and spoiled brat.
Ranveer confirmed the news during a chat with BT and said, “Yes, I am doing the show. For the first time I am getting an opportunity to play a negative character, which is a bit challenging for me. I am looking forward to this new journey. I hope I do justice to this character.”
Talking about Pratik (producer of the show) and Shabir Ahluwalia, Ranveer said “I am a huge fan of Prateek’s work. He has the Midas touch. Shabir on the other hand is a fabulous actor. I am really excited to work with them.”
Radha Mohan will go on-air on May 2, 2022.
