Scene 1
Ibadat wakes up and doesn’t find Subhan besides her. She finds a basket full of gifts and a card saying he loves her. She smiles and says I love you too. she dances around with her gifts. The card says he wants to make this day the most special one for her so she should get ready. Ibadat gets emotional and says its already so special for me, thank you.
Subhan brings Ibadat to a place and blindfolds her. She says why this? he says I have a surprise for you. She nods and goes with him. Subhan brings her to a courtroom and takes of her blindfold. She is shocked and confused.
Dua is happy for Ibadat and says I just want her to be happy, Gazal hides and tells Kashaf that I won’t let her celebrate when I had to bear the pain for years. She attacks her and strangles her from behind. Dua screams and asks who is this? Gazal says its me.. your destruction from the past, I am back. You are going to lose everything like I did. She strangles Dua while Kashaf looks on. Dua faints
Ibadat asks Subhan what is going on? he says this is a family court and they are going to get us divorced. She says what is this? is this a joke? Subhan says its not, this is the surprise I planned for you, didn’t you like it? Ibadat panics and recalls his false words. She cries and says how could you betray me like this? it was all fake? He says yes, it was all a lie. She shouts why? why did you do this with me? what have I done with you? Subhan says I had to betray you for your betrayal. Ibadat says you are so stone-hearted, I had doubts but I believed you, you proved me wrong. You think you can free yourself from me? I won’t divorce you. Subhan says at least take the judge’s permission as they called you here. The lawyer says if you didn’t come here then we would have to get you arrested. Ibadat thanks Subhan for giving her this surprise, I know some law too. You had to send a petition first before calling me here. Subhan shows her the petition papers with her sign on them. She is shocked seeing that. The lawyer says you accepted the petition and signed it. Subhan says you signed the papers I asked you to sign and didn’t even read them. Ibadat recalls Subhan asking her to sign business papers and she did without reading them. Ibadat says you have lost your character and for what? Mannat? Subhan says I want to be free from you, you destroyed my and Mannat’s life. You lied to me so I lied back, you don’t even deserve my hatred, let alone my love. Mannat comes there and smirks at Ibadat. She holds Subhan’s hand and tells Ibadat that they will be divorced today.
