Scene 1:
Location: Shaad’s residence, Faislabad, Lahore and Ahil’s residence, India
The new bride is shocked, and doesnt let him touch her, saying that this is a punishment to her, that she loves him and he doesnt. he asks her to let him attend to it. She gets berserk as she screams. he gets her up, while she keeps ranting that he is just guilty that she bears his child. She keeps saying he doesnt care for her, while he helps her to her room, as she smiles evilly. seeing from a distance, gazalla and razaak are surprised to see the new bride captivating ahil like this. she says that this girl is like a magician.

Later, ahil gets a call from the nurse, reminding him of their appointment. Ahil says that they cant meet today, while she says that its very important or else she wouldnt have forced. He asks her to come then. He wonders what she has to say about sanam. just then, the new bride comes dressed in black, asking how does she look, taking him aback. He asks why is she dressed like this. she says that she did this to save the wound from being soon, so that people dont know he did this to her. He says that she knows she brought this on herself, and he isnt to be blamed. she says that the people dont know this, as they would know that he is guilty of domestic violence on his wife, at a time when she is expecting. She chides him, and he asks what she means. She threatens ahil that for his own good, he should present himself before the press conference, just like a married couple should, or else it wont take time for her to show everyone the wound. he asks if she really thinks she can threaten him, as horses are tamed, and not lions. he says that he would treat her with respect, not because he is scared of her, but because she bears his child, as those arent the mannerisms with which he is brought up. he leaves, while she stands tensed.

As he comes out, he finds the new bride taking his arm, while across the border, sanam too takes her arms around shaad and descends down, both for their function today ironically, each oblivious of the other’s presence. Ahil and sanam are greetd by the press, while she is amused and happy. the bride walks ahead. he stares at his lonely hand. Meanwhile, sanam thinks that after such turmoil, the whole world accepts their relationship, she isnt visibly happy. Shaad gets a call and walks ahead, and she too stares at her bare hands. While the new bride takes her place, she is tensed, as ahil stands awkwardly at the stairs. He joins her too. the press starts barging questions at the new bride, asking how she feels today, being the new begum, and she responds by praising ahil galore in every relation, and hopes that she succeeds his expectations. He resignedly listens.

At shaad’s residence, his family receives guests for the grand feast. While shaad and sanam descend down, they are splashed with holy waters, and then made to proceed. Just then, shashi kapoor, from hiding eyes his watch and thinks that just a few moments more, and then this celebration shall change into grief soon, and he shall reach his destiny. The munh dikayi ceremony begins. Shaad finds his entire family getting dizzy and unconscious. While sanam is busy in her world of tensions and discomfort, she doesnt realise that shaad is a little uneasy. Later, Shaad falls on the floor unconscious and sanam is distraught wondering what happened, as she comes across a pool of unconscious bodies on the floor. she is shell shocked as she tries to wake everyone but in vain. she starts hollering for anyone for help. the nurse leaves in scare.

Meanwhile, outside the nurse arrives, and latif asks whats she doing here. she identifies herself and asks her to call ahil rightaway. latif asks her to tell it to her only, as he is busy. But the nurse says that she shall wait for him. nazia hears this, and wonders why and for what this nuse wants to meet ahil, and if the new bride is betraying her in some way. the nurse finally enters and finds the press conference. the press ask him about his reaction to sanam’s disappearance. he says that he is surviving on the hope that sanam is alive and he shall find her someday. The new bride stops him, and says that she isnt there anymore, and they feel her absence, and promises that she would give so much love to ahil and his family, that they would forget about sanam. before the nurse can proceed further, nazia identifies herself and asks her to tell it to her only. But the nurse is adamant that she shall wait for him only. Nazia gets suspicious and finds that the nurse is carrying a bag with some report. As ahil proceeds ahead to her, when she calls him, the nurse takes time to take out the reprots from the bag, whose zipper is stuck. He finds that its taking time, and goes to fulfill the photographers’ demands for pics together. finally she is able to do the zipper and shouts for him. just then, the photographers ask the new bride to turn around and pose. as she turns smiling, the nurse is shocked and scared to see her.

meanwhile, sanam walks around apalled, while shashi kapoor, eyes the sprinkler of pure water that he had contaminated, that caused everyone to fall unconscious. the screen freezes on his masked face.

Precap: Ahil is shocked to find the new bridce having turned around feet, signalling a witch and is stunned in shock, while she eyes him evilly. Eyeing the unconscious bodies, Shashi kapoor finally lifts off the mask.
