SAME DAY ,AT NIGHT

LOCATION-SERVENT’S QUATERS

it was almost 10 at night ,i was standing in front of servent’s quater of my house .There were food packets on my hand ,these were 4 my lado.I know she hasn’t eaten anything after that morning incident .So i was present there to feed her but i wan’t getting any idea to how to enter her room ,then i put food packets in my school bag and start climbing the wooden stairs that was present there ,then after much struggling i reach near her room and thanx to god it was open ,i slowly enter the room through the window ,lado was sleeping peacefully on her bed ,i slowly came near to her ,she was looking so cute and innocent ,unknowngily a deep simile came on my face ,then without wasting any time i start taking her name –

MYSELF- lado !! lado !!

she open her eyes slowly after hearing my voice ,she suddenly shout –

LADO- lucky tu yahan ?? wo bhi itni rat ko !!

then i put finger on my lips to indicate her not to shout

MYSELF- shhhhh…….lado why r u shouting this much ?? do u want baba to scold me ???

LADO(slowly)- nothing like that but why u came here haan ??

MYSELF- arrey buddhu….i came here to feed u ,i know u havn’t eat dinner so i bring food 4 u but instead of saying thanx u r shouting on me

LADO- sacchi

MYSELF-mucchi

LADO- but no, no lucky i can’t ……….

MYSELF- uffo lado don’t think much just have u r dinner and forget all matter

LADO- but…..

MYSELF- i said na don’t think much

LADO- ohk baba fine !!!

she start uncovering the food packets then she look at me and said-

LADO- lucky did u have u r dinner ??

i simply nodded in no

LADO- but why ??

MYSELF- how can i ?? my best friend is hungry ,how can i fill my stomach ,i am not that much greedy like u

LADO- me ?? u r saying that i am greedy !!

MYSELF- yah u heared clearly !!

LADO – but why ??

MYSELF- don’t u remember that day when kajukatli were present on puja thal,u secretly eat all the katlis without giving me a single pieces ,i was just stairing at u like a hungry dog and u were eating like a fatty fox

after listening this she brust out laughing ,i was only stairing at her innocent face then i make a cute expression to make her understand that i was still hungry ,she similed at my cute expression ,then we both feed each other ,we were now happy that no one has came between our friendship ,then after feeding her i went towrds my room leaving lado peacefully ,next day was diwali ,all the day i was planning how to take lado outside from that servents’s quater because as all knows she was not allowed to step outside her quater
after thinking whole day passed like this then night came ,who knows that this diwali night will be a dark night in our lives .

AT DIWALI NIGHT AT 7 PM

LOCATION- LADO’S QUATER

i came infront of her room without informing anyone in my home ,i know everyone was seacrhing 4 me especially swaru .She will be waiting 4 me to burn crackers but i want to take lado also because i know how much she love crackers,so i came here to take her outside so i shouted her name

MYSELF- lado !! lado !!!

then she hurriedly came at the balcony and saw me .she became nervous after seeing me

LADO- what happen lucky why u came here if anyone will see u here then

MYSELF- no one will see me lado all r busy in gnesha puja so come fast we will burn crackers and have fun togther

LADO- no lucky u go i not coming

MYSELF- plz lado plz plz come na

LADO(after thinking much )-ohk i am coming

after this she came running from downstair then we both hold each other hand and run towards the garden , we were enjoying a lot ,at every bump of fire she jump in excitement ,we were burning crackers then she said

LADO- lucky wait i just come within 2 min i am very much thirsty ohk

i simply nodded and she went but after 1 hr passed , she didn’t came so i run towards her quater to see her ,when i entered many people were present there ,i didn’t get the reason that why they r present over there then i entered lado’s room where i saw lado was sitting there and was crying then my eyes stuck toward the body which was present on the floor ,he was none other than lado’s baba , blood were coming from his nervous ,his eyes were closed .People around me were saying that he has committed sucide .THen i noticed my mom dad were also present there ,after this my thoughts were disturbed by lado’s crying voice .I sat beside her and put my hands on her shoulder then she said-

LADO (crying )-see na lucky what happen to him why is he not responding tell him to wake !!!

then she turn towards baba and said

LADO- plz get up baba ,plz grt up see u r lado is crying u can’t see me in pain na then plz wake up,plz wake up

MYSELF- lado plz stop crying ,i can’t see u like this , i think he is dead now he can’t wake …….

LADO- what r u saying ?? u r my friend or enemy how can i live without him howwwwwww??????

MYELF- lado plz don’t cry u should………….

before i could say anything my mom start shouting

MOM- oh !! stop u r drama girl u r father has committed sucide ,he will never come now

then she called ramdeen kaka

MOM- ramdeen !! ramdeen !!! just take out this girl with her father’s dead body and throw them outside .i don’t want see their faces and laksh come with me (start dragging me towards her )

whereas ramdeen kaka was dragging lado ,she was crying heavily seeing her in pain my heart were broken into pieces ,i was shouting

MYSELF- mom plz leave me i don’t want to separate with lado ,she is my best friend ,she has lost her father she needs me mom plz leave me

MOM- stop it lucky and come with me

LADO- lucky …..ha……haa..n.lucky don’t ever forget me i will always there with u in our memories and yah take this (she throws bracelet ‘s one end towards me ) and said
this is my bracelet lucky it’s one end will always with u and it’s other end will with me ,whenever u will miss me just look at this bracelet ‘s end it will make u remind me

MYSELF (dragged by mom)- (i picked that bracelet’s end and put it on my pocket and said )-lado!!! lado !! don’t forget me ever……………….

”WE BOTH WERE SEPARATED BY DESTINY AS JUST LIKE WE BOTH WERE UNITED BY IT,SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND BUT NOW SHE IS NOT WITH ME .HER SMALL INNOCENT FACE IS STILL CAPTUERD ON MY MIND .I DON’T WHETHER I WILL BE ABLE TO MEET MY FRIEND OR NOT BUT I KNOW WHEREVER SHE IS , SHE WILL MAKE OTHER PEOPLE’S LIFE HEAVEN WITH HER CUTE INNOCENT SIMILE AND BY HER SELFLESS ACT ”
