Episode 9:
Karan and Kunal reach the hotel where they have left their hearts behind. Kunal knocks the door and Sharda opens it.
Sharda: Come in!!!
Karan: Aunty, where Is Naina?
Sharda: Kya aunty aunty laga rakha hai? Call me Sharda ma. Okay?
Karan: Okay Sharda ma, where is Naina?
Sharda: She has gone to but a few medicines, she should be back now.
Karan: Okay.
Sharda (smiling at Karan): But why is your brother looking so depressed?
Karan: Ma, aakhir Bhai ke liye bahut buri kabar hai, actually bhabi ke liye bhi. (Laughs)
Hearing that Sharda gets tensed and turns towards Kunal worriedly.
Sharda: Beta! What happened?
Kunal (thinking its bad news even for Sharda with remorse and sadness): Sharda ma, there is a problem with marriage date. Dad said that there is no Shubh mahurat in the upcoming days and so we can get married only after our last semester.
Sharda: Baap re! Thank god…. Itni si baat hai na beta, mein toh dar gayi……
Kunal: Arey yeh bahut badi baat hai.
Just then Meghna comes out of her room.
Meghna: Kunal, what happened? Why are you shouting?
Kunal: Dekho na Meghna maa, Itni badi baat ko choti si baat keh rahi hai. Our marriage can happen only after 4 months. We will have to wait.
Meghna is embarrassed. She hits Kunal’s elbow.
Meghna: Thank god, matlab I can celebrate my singlehood.
Karan: Bhabi, Hifi….. Sirf Bhai udas hai.
Just then Naina comes back with the medicines, but she is nervous…..
Kunal: Lo meri saali bhi aa gayi.
Karan gets happy and turns towards like a hero, after setting his hair right and wiping his face with his handkerchief. He wanted to make him presentable before Naina. He turns only to see that Naina was lost in her own world.
Karan: Naina! (X5)
He went near her and shook her and she was back from her land of dreams.
Naina: Huh!! Karan!! Jeeju!! When did you guys come?
Kunal: We came some 10 minutes back but where are you lost?
Naina (trying to hide her nervousness): Nothing Jeeju, nothing at all. I am fine, completely fine. It took time to come because on the way…… (She recollects someone following her, and she turning back and looking at the person she gets shocked)
Karan: On the way…. What?
Naina (fumbles): No not on the way…. in the shop, in the shop the pharmacist had some problem with locating the medicines so I got late.
Karan is somehow not convinced with her answer and tries to ask her question when Naina cuts him,
Naina: Chodo who sab…. I will order something to eat….
Karan: yes let’s make it fast, aaj us Rohan se bhi toh milna hai….
Hearing that Naina gets shocked but does not say anything.
The ordered food arrives and they all sit down to eat.
Meghna: Cheeku, nice food. I was so hungry. But we had to wait because you were so late.
Naina (angrily): Di, I told you that I fell down on the way that’s why I was late.
All of them lift their heads up to look at Naina. Earlier she said that the pharmacist made it late and now a different story.
Sharda: Cheeku, you said the pharmacist had a problem locating medicines and that’s why you were late but now a different excuse, tell us the truth! What happened?
Naina starts to weep. Karan immediately goes to her side and holds her.
Karan: Eh, What happened? (Caressing her face)
Naina: Woh aaya mujhse milne….
They immediately understood who she was mentioning….
Meghna: But I thought he would call you and inform you about when to come and wait didn’t want you to come to VELVET CAFÉ, then why suddenly?
Naina: Di, you know he is mad. HE said he couldn’t wait.
Karan: Batao, kya baat Hui thi?
Naina nods and starts telling him what had happened.

Naina is seen walking on the road and feels someone’s presence behind her. At first she thinks it might be Karan, but when she to see for the first time she doesn’t find anyone. She starts walking again. Someone comes from the hiding spot and starts following her again, and this time Naina’s reflex is so good that she turns immediately and gets shocked seeing the person – IT WAS ROHAN!!!
Naina: Rohan!
Rohan: Samira! Why did you turn so quickly, I wanted to surprise so was following you slowly, wanted to play the GAME OF HIDE AND SEEK…. You ruined my plan.
Naina: You here? I mean how did you come here, you asked me to come to the café didn’t you?
Rohan: I could not wait….See I cannot live without seeing you.
Naina: What do you want?
Rohan: Samira, you know the answer, I want you.
Naina: Rohan please, I have told you this several times, I am not Samira, and Samira is dead.
Rohan: Samira please, don’t say that! I don’t know why you suddenly want to go away from me!
Naina: Rohan, Please understand.
Rohan: You try to understand. (He holds her tightly and Naina starts crying in pain)I love you and I won’t let you go.
Naina: Ro…Rohan you are hurting me.
Rohan realises what he is doing and leaves Naina immediately.
Rohan: I, I am sorry baby, I am sorry, IS it hurting a lot? I am an idiot!! How could I?
Saying this he walks to the nearby wall and starts hitting his head against it. His head starts bleeding. Naina runs to him.
Naina: Rohan, please stop it. What are you doing? You are bleeding!!
Rohan: See Samira, even if you try you are not able to hide your feelings for me. I got hurt but you are going through the pain, this is the love that we share, Isn’t it?
Hearing no response from Naina,
Rohan (stressing his words in anger): Isn’t it?
Naina gets scared and nods her head and cries not understanding what to do.
Rohan: Now you leave Naina, your family must be searching for you.
Naina turns to leave and he calls out to her. She looks back at him.
Rohan: Don’t worry, I will look after the new CHAMCHA who is behind you, I know he is interfering between us. Hamare raaste pe aanewali har kaate ko mein nikal doongi. You don’t worry.
She understood that he was talking about Karan. She leaves that place worriedly without lokking back at him.

All four are shocked and Naina cries uncontrollably.
Naina: Why mumma? Why is this happening to me?
Sharda consoles her.
Naina: Karan there is only one way out of this, I have decided that I will not meet you here after; you also have stop thinking about me. I don’t want you to get hurt in this process.
Karan: You are asking me to die?
Naina (closes his mouth): Don’t say that.
Karan: No Naina, not thinking about you and our future and our love is equal to dying.
Naina runs outside the room and Karan runs behind her shouting out her name. He holds her wrist and pulls her towards him and hugs her. She tries to let herself free from his hold but she has been so tightly that she gives in after some time.
Karan: Never say that again.
Naina: What?
Karan: Whatever you said in that room.
Karan frees her from the hug. Naina puts her head down.
Naina: What do you want me to do? Ask you to enter the fire knowing that it is dangerous. I love you Karan and I cannot lose you.
Karan: Toh jaane ke liye kyun kaha? Our love I believe is not that weak. Is it?
Naina: No Karan. I just…
Karan silences her by losing her mouth with his hand.
Karan: Bas Naina, ab kuch mat bolo, we will fight together and face its consequences together. Kyun ki jab tak hum saath hai na is duniya ki koi bhi shakthi hamara kuch nahi bigad saktha.
Naina: Is Rohan ki chakkar mein we forgot entirely about Di’s accident investigation.
Karan smiles at Naina.
Naina: What, why are you smiling at me like that?
Karan: Kuch nahi, bas dekh raha tha ki ja tum khud itni badi problem mein ho tumhe yeh accident investigation ke baare mein yaad kaise raha?
Naina: I don’t forget anything.
Karan: Really? Toh phir kal ki adhuri baat bhi nahi bhooli hogi!
Naina blushes.
Karan: Oi hoi Kya lagte ho jab tum blush karti ho!
He leans forward but this time does not close his eyes, He didn’t want to be fooled. Just as he was about to take his gift, his phone rings!
Naina smiles and runs away.
