IN THE WARD:
Kunal: Meghna, how did all this happen? Why did you go back to the hotel?
Karan and Naina enter the room.
Meghna: Kunal, I actually had left my phone back in the hotel itself, I went to get it, I was crossing the road and suddenly there was this car in super speed that came towards and then you know guys know what happened…..
Kunal: Mujhe batati toh mein leke aata mobile. Next time promise me you will not scare like this. You have no idea how tensed we all were. We had no clue where you were also and the probability of calling you and finding you also became zero because of your carelessness.
Meghna: Sorry Kunal, sorry Naina, Karan and Mumma? Mumma kahan hai?
Naina: Mumma is in the suite, even she needed rest na?
Meghna: Acha hi kiya!
Karan: Bhabi, actually now you are officially going to become my bhabi.
He tells her what happened in the hospital. Meghna blushes and looks at Kunal.

Karan: I noticed that there is CCTV camera in the pharmacy on that road. It will surely be open, and the people there might help. I will go and check them. We might find a clue.

They go back in.
Karan: Bhai, Bhabi we will back in sometime.
Meghna: Where are guys going? Naina?
Naina: We will tell you when we come back!
They leave.
IN THE CAR:
Naina: You are sure that the CCTV camera will help us, what if it does not cover that angle of the car while it was approaching.
Karan: I don’t know, let’s hope.
Naina: Hmmm….
They go to the pharmacy.
IN THE PHARMACY:
Karan: Hello, sir today there was an accident that occurred I am sure you know about it. We just wanted your help regarding that.
Pharmacist: What?
Naina: We want to check your CCTV camera- the one outside near the door.
Pharmacist: Arey, yeh hit and run case hai; I don’t want to be dragged into all these matters.
Karan: Sir please, you are our one and only hope, and I promise you will not be dragged into any legal issues.
Pharmacist: Okay fine, come in.
Naina: Thank you sir.
They go in and check the monitor.
IN the monitor they see a speeding car going towards Meghna, and then without even stopping by it leaves the scene.
Karan pauses the video at that when the backside of the car is seen and notes down the car number.
Karan (angrily): How I wish we could see the person sitting inside the car.
Naina: Karan calm down.
Karan: Thanks sir.
They leave after taking a copy of the video in Karan’s mobile.
Naina: What next?
Karan: Finding the owner of the car.
Naina: Hmmm….
Just then a few boys come in bikes and circle the duo.
BOY1: Hey jaan, humare saath bhi aao.
BOY2: Chalo aaja.
They try to touch her. She moves aside. Karan shouts at them.
Karan: Abey, bhaag ja. I will kill you all.
BOY3: Oh, here comes the hero…
The boys laugh…
They stop the bike and get down. Two of them start pulling Naina and two hold Karan. Karan tries to free himself. They try to force themselves on Naina. Karan frees himself and start to beat up the two guys holding him. Hearing the noise the pharmacist comes to their help. While Karan beats up those two boys the pharmacist pushes away the two holding Naina. The pharmacist threatens to call the police and the boys run away in fright.
Karan: If I see you all once again here I will kill you, how dare you touch my Naina!! I will kill you….
Naina looks turns and looks at him.
The pharmacist calms him down and asks him to look at Naina, Karan runs to Naina,
Karan: Naina? Naina are you fine?
Naina: Karan I am fine.
She gets tensed seeing Karan bleeding.
Naina: Karan, you are bleeding… Sir, can you help us once again?
Pharmacist: Yes yes, please come in.
They go back to the pharmacy and there he is given first aid.
Pharmacist: You better visit a hospital also.
Karan: No I am fine.
Naina: Aise kaise “fine” ho?
Karan: You keep quiet.
Naina stares at him and understands that he is pissed with her.

Naina: Karan woh…..

Naina keeps quiet. Karan looks at her hand and he sees how the tight grip had broken her bangle and the bangle pieces have pierced her hand and blood was oozing out.
Karan: Naina, haath dikhao.

Karan: Maine kaha haath dikhao.
He pulls her hand, tries to take the glass piece out. Naina writhes in pain.
Karan: I am sorry, is it paining a lot.
Naina nods her head. Karan takes the glass out and bandages her hand.
Pharmacist: Beta, you are very lucky to get such a loving and caring husband. And Karan beta, you too for getting such a lovely wife who worries for you so much.
They both look at each other.
Naina (gets up to clear the misunderstanding): Sir woh hum…
Karan (interrupts her, without realising): I know sir. I am.
Naina is shocked.
They leave after thanking the pharmacist.
IN THE CAR:
Karan: Naina?
Naina does not respond…..
Karan: Naina, I am talking to you. Okay I am sorry I should not have shouted at you.
Naina still does not respond.
Karan: Okay kaan pakdoon?
Naina still does not respond. Karan is confused.
Karan: What’s wrong with you? (Suddenly with change in tone- a tone with concern) Kayi tumhe dard to nahi ho rahi hai? Kayi aur chot lagi hai kya?
He pulls Naina towards him and makes her face him.
Karan: Jab tak tum nahi kahoge mujhe pata nahi chalega Naina, Batao na.
Naina: I am fine, leave me now.
Karan is still confused, and then he recollects him telling the pharmacist that she is his wife. He understands her anger and silence.
Karan: Oh, Naina, I am sorry, who muh se nikal gaya.
Naina: It’s okay, now let’s go.
Karan (to himself): She is still angry; I better confess my feelings to her.
Karan: Naina woh mein tumse….
Naina’s phone rings. It’s Sharda.
Naina: Karan, mumma ka phone hai.
Karan: Give it to me.
He picks up the call.
Karan: Hello aunty, This Is Karan here.
Sharda: Karan you? Naina teek hai na?
Karan: Yeah yeah aunty, she is sleeping.
Sharda: Oh okay, Has Meghna got back her consciousness?
Karan: Yes aunty, she is resting now.
Sharda: Okay then I will come in the morning to the hospital. Beta, thank you so much for all the help.
Karan: kaise baatein kar rahi aap? Apne ko thank you nahi bolte hai.
Sharda: Okay beta, see you in the morning.

The call ends.
Naina: Why did you lie?
Karan: I don’t want anyone to know about this mission we are on.
Naina: Okay, but why?
Karan: If they know then they won’t allow us to do all this investigation, but meri yeh sab jaan na zaroori hai.
Naina: Okay fine. But if di asks where we were all this time what will we tell.
Karan: We will tell them that we sat and planned a date for them.
Naina; But we haven’t right!
Karan: Yeah “we” haven’t but I have.
Naina: What?
Karan: Even before knowing about this accident remember I had gone to get you food, I had called up my friend to get things ready for a date for Bhai and Bhabi. But now that idea has helped us by paving a way for our investigation.
Naina: Kya baat hai? I never expected you to plan a date and all.
Karan (to himself): Actually humare liye kiya tha but plan ke liye badalna pad raha hai, sorry Naina.
Karan smiles.
Karan: Okay let’s go.
They reach the hospital.
Meghna: Where were you both?
Kunal hits Karan’s hand.
Kunal (to Karan): Date again?
Karan (to Kunal): Shut up.
Karan: Bhabi, actually it’s a surprise for you both from us.
Kunal and Meghna (together): What surprise?
Karan: Bhabi, you will know when you get discharged today. By the way discharge se yaad aaya, doctor has said you will be discharged by evening but you will have come for check up on a regular basis.
Meghna: Okay Karan SIR!!
They laugh.
Karan winks at Naina.
