Dev decides that he would celebrate his birthday with his family for half a day and rest with Sonakshi. Asha and Bejoy had invited Dixit’s for lunch. They come. They hear the sound of vessels falling down

Ishwari asked ” asha yeh itni awaaze kyu aa rahi hain kitchen se “(asha why Is so much noise coming from the kitchen).Asha “Ab mein kya batao yeh Sona bhi na ,subah se Dev ke liye khana bana rahi hain, mera kitchen pura kharab kar diya, aur toh aur meri help bhi nahi lena chhathi hain “(now what can I tell, sona is preparing food for Dev since morning, she has spoiled my kitchen and she doesn’t even want to take my help). Everyone laugh. Dev “Mein abhi use milke aatah hoon”( I will meet her and come). All the others sit in the living room and talk. Dev goes to the kitchen and sees Sona had prepared a lot of dishes for him . She was still busy cooking . She was seeing some cooking video in youtube. She had earphones in her ears. Dev called her but she didn’t turn. Dev stood behind her . She turned behind to take something. She was just inches apart from Dev. Dev started laughing loudly.

She was angry. Sona “Dev tum kitne bure ho mein tumhare liye itna mehnat kar rahi hoon aur tum mujhpe has rahe hon”(Dev you are so bad I am working so had for you and you are laughing).Dev hugs her but she couldn’t hug him back as she was dough on her hands. Dev “Sona ek photo , tum itni mehnat jo kar rahi ho na”. Sona says ok. He clicks her photo. She asks him to show it to her. She then understand s why Dev was laughing on her . She had atta all over her face. Both of them started laughing together. Sona “Dev mein bahar iss galath mein kaise aao,please kuch karo ( dev how can I come out like this please do something). Dev”acha ok”. Dev goes out and acts as if he has hit the table and shouts. Everybody look towards Dev. Meanwhile Sona runs to her room. Everyone have lunch and praise Sona . Now it was time for Dev to spend the rest of the day with Sona. Sona was waiting for someone.

Dev ” arey sona chalo na kis ke liye wait kar rahi ho?”( Sona let’s go who are you waiting for ) . Sona” hum kaise jayenga chal ke ?”. Dev ” we have our car “. Sona ” just wait for few minutes Mr Bore”. Dev”Haan Sona tum ne mujhe bore kaha , common mein tumse zyada bore toh nahi . Sona just smiles. A man arrives with a brand new scooty. Sona ” Bhaiya itna late, anyways Thank you “. Dev ” sona yeh tumne nayi scooty kyu kari di hain “( sona why did you buy a new scooty). Sona “tumhare saath ghumne ke liye “. Dev ” haan par, acha tike mein chalayega”( ok fine but I will drive it ). Sona “agar tumhe chalane dena tha tho tumhare hi bike par chalte na, aaj mein chalayega. Tum jante ho humesha se na mujhe tumhara bike chalane ka bohut mann tha par kabhi chala nahi payi, par aaj mein yeh scooty chalaungi aur tum mere piche betoge”. (If I wanted you to drive then we would have gone on your bike ,you know I always wanted to drive your bike but never could do it, but today I will drive and you will sit behind me on my scooty ). Dev “as you say Ms Bose “.

Sona takes him to a golgappa stall. Dev “sona tumne yaha kyu roka ,I mean tum itni health freak ho ki aisa food na khathi ho na khane dethi ho”. Sona “Dev hum hamari life mein itne busy hain ki aisi choti choti kushiya kabhi experience hi nahi kiya toh meine socha for one day it’s ok ab chale”(we are so busy in our lives that we never experienced such small small happiness so I thought its ok for one day ). Dev was touched by her words. The rest of the day they spent in malls , ice cream parlour , went to india gate clicked photos, they did everything they usually didn’t do. Dev was enjoying everything very much. At last they came to their favourite chai ki dukaan. Sona ” dev tum meri life ke sabse best thing ho “. Dev ” sona tum bhi. You really made my birthday a wonderful day. “.

Dev ” acha chalo ek surprise tumhare liye “.(come now their is a surprise for you ). Dev’s driver brought his bike . Dev asked him to take the scooty home. Sona “Dev tumne apni bike kyo mangvayi “.Dev ” sona tumhara mann tha na meri bike chalane ka isliye “( sona you wanted to drive my bike , that’s why) . Sona ” aw, dev so sweet . Pae mujhe nahi aatah”. Dev ” tum bas beto main hoon na “(You just sit I am their right). Sona at last rode a bike because of Dev. They both thought that they had become so busy in their lives that they missed such small happinesses. Sona hugged Dev and said I Love you . He replied ” I Love you too ”
