Pyaar aur Parivaar- Balance b/w love and family (Part 26)

The episode starts with Akshara’s phone ringing. She takes the phone in her hands, wondering who must be calling her at that time of night. Seeing an unknown number on the screen, she decides to ignore it… After a minute, her phone rings again, with the same number popping up on the screen…. She takes the call….

Akshara: Hello! Who’s this?

Voice: Hello! You didn’t recognise me??? Very bad!!!

Akshara: Sorry but who is this???

Voice: I won’t introduce myself…. You will have to guess who I am!!! Don’t worry… With what I give you as a clue, I’m sure you’ll definitely do this!!!

And before Akshara can protest or say something… she hears the phone being kept aside and hears the girl on the other side shuffling her things for something…. After a couple of minutes, as Akshara thinks of ending the call, she hears a tune which is being played on the violin…. This is a unique one… which is generally not what we learn in the music classes…. But Akshara recognises it and she is taken aback as she can’t believe her ears!!!! This tune, which she once loved and adored as more than her life…. The one which represented a special bond she shared with someone very valuable to her….. She is hearing it after one long year…. As the tune went on, beautiful memories of her past with the person on the phone flooded her mind and without her knowledge, tears started rolling down her cheeks as she closed her eyes to feel and live those memories….. As soon as the music comes to an end….

Voice: Did you recognise me now at least????

Akshara: (holding back a sob) A… Aakriti di????

Aakriti: Haa…. Finally!!! SURPRISE!!!! Yes… it’s me!! My chutanki….!

Akshara: Aakriti di!!! (sobs happily)

Aakriti: Arey… arey…. Why are you crying?? Didn’t you like my surprise???

Akshara: No di… I’m not crying…. These tears represent my happiness…. I can’t tell you how happy I am….. (smiles)

Aakriti: Me too… Finally I’m talking to you after an year….! Acha Akshu… Sorry… You always forbid me from calling you like that an I always forget….

Akshara: No di… From now, I give you full permission to call me like that… Because I’m no longer Sonakshi to the world…. I’m officially and personally Akshara now!!!

Aakriti: WHAT!!! How??? When??? ummm… Is this true???

Akshara: Yes di!!! Obviously, nothing changed after you’ve gone to Australia…. but all the things started changing since 3 months…. This was the life changing time of my life…. And now I’m so happy…. And I longed for your presence here, with me…. Because after my mom and dad, you were the only one who knew about my past and my truth… You’ve always supported me…. Always cheered me up when I was sad… Boosted up my confidence when I needed it the most…. And were always by my side like a sister…. Thank you di…

Aakriti: (teary eyed) Chup kar…. Pagli! You exaggerate it so much but the fact is more than me, it was you who supported me the most….. At least, after listening to your past, anyone won’t blame you and they in turn sympathize you….. But for me, it’s not like that!!! My family didn’t support me when I needed it the most…. And when I followed my heart and left the house, people laughed at me, mocked me for defying my parents and said that I’m a rebel…. They didn’t try to understand what made me do that… When everyone shut me out…. it was only you who didn’t judge me and my past by what it looked from outside… You listened to my point of view patiently and supported me…. You encouraged me to follow my dreams… You taught me to stand up for my self respect… Athough I’m elder than you in age but in living life, you are elder to me… I’ll always be grateful to you…. Always!!

Akshara: Ok ok… enough emotional words now… We are each other’s support system….And we ‘ll always remain…

Aakriti: Ok… Guess what??? I’m in Udaipur now…. I guess you are also here right….. So shall we meet???
