Pyaar aur Parivaar- Balance b/w love and family (Part 23)

The episode starts with Aarohi  taking Akshara aside….

Akshara: (worried) What happened Aaru?? Everything’s fine right?

Aarohi: No Akshu! Nothing’s fine!! I’m happy that it’s your engagement tomorrow…. but can’t we push it???

Akshara: No Aaru…. At first, I also felt the same…. but then pandit ji told there is no option and even Abhi….

Aarohi: (lets out a frustrated sigh, interrupting Akshara) Oh god!!! Why?

Akshara: Oho…. Aaru…. Tell me what’s it??

Aarohi: The thing is….. you know that I’ve transferred admission to… the Birla institute and before the next term starts, I have a project to do in which all the students will be going to a medical camp…. for 8-9 days…. and the camp starts from tomorrow…!

Akshara: (shocked) Tomorrow?? But then you won’t be able to attend any function except….

Aarohi: Marriage…! Thank god atleast I’ll be attending that…. Look Akshu…. I’m really sorry! But I can’t help it…. It’s important for me….

Akshara: It’s ok Aaru…. I understand…. I was also a medical student, so I understand how important such projects are…. Yes… I’ll miss you in all the rasams… but this is more important…. and you’ll be here for the wedding right??

Aarohi: (nods) I promise that I’ll be by your side in the wedding….

Akshara: Then ok… And you don’t worry about the family…. I’ll convince them…. You start your packing…. (smile)

Aarohi: (hugs her) Thank you Akshu…. You’re the best!!!! (goes for packing)

At the Birla House:

Anand and Harsh sit in the hall. They are discussing about the arrangement at the campsite….

Anand: Harsh! Is everything alright? You seem to be in a deep thought….

Harsh: This camp is held every year as a project for the 2nd and 3rd year students of our institute…. And every year one of the senior doctor goes there to volunteer the students and he/she will have another doctor to assist them… This year I thought of sending Akshara and Abhimanyu there for this so that they get some experience but now that they are getting married, we have to change the plans…..

Anand: Then what’s the problem in that?

Harsh: The problem is no other doctors are free at the hospitals as we all will be taking leaves…. That’s why…. We need two people for this job, a doctor especially….

Neil: Sorry to interrupt but if you don’t have any problem I’ll go there….

Harsh: (thinks) Ok if you insist…. and who’ll be your assistant??? Let me check if there is any student worthy…… (checks the list) Yes! Dr. Aarohi Goenka! She’s a topper, has a good feedback in all her internships, I’m sure she’ll have no problem…Neil, I appoint her as your assistant and, remember…. though she is your assistant, she is also a student so be strict with her…. and handle everything proffessionally and no personal talks…. Understand???

Neil: Yes uncle…. I’ll make sure not to let you down….

Anand: And inform Abhimanyu about this…. and you’ll have to convince him…. You know that he won’t like the fact that you’ll not be around in his wedding functions… so take care…

Neil: Yes tau ji!! (goes)

At the Goenka house:

Akshara tells everyone about Aarohi’s project….

Manish: But how will it look? Elder sister is getting married and younger one is not there…

Akshara: But Badepapa…. she’ll be for the wedding…

Kairav: Yes Akshu…. All the functions will look incomplete without her…. Can’t it be left??

Akshara: No bhaiya…. For a medical student, these kind of projects are very important…. And this is her first project in this college… So, it’s important for her to make an impression to be in the good books of her proffesors…. Yes… I’ll be missing her so much but it’s about her career…. Please badepapa….

Manish: (reluctantly) Ok…. As it’s important for her career, I say yes… (a bit loudly) Aaru…. I know you are hearing this, now you can come out…

Aarohi, who was hearing the whole conversation, comes out and hugs Akshara tightly….

Aarohi: Thanks Akshu….

Manish: (hugs her) I don’t want to send you as it’s Akshu’s marriage but your future is equally important as Akshu’s so…. And promise me you’ll be here for the wedding….

Aarohi: Pakka promise…! Love you Badepapa! (hugs him)

Manish: Love you too my bacha!!

After some time, Aarohi packs all her bags and leaves for the bus stop. In the car…

Aarohi: (to herself) This camp is gonna be a life turner for me…. I mean I had plans to meet my Abhimanyu and move closely with him but I didn’t think that it would be this early and this convenient…. All thanks to the god… (smiles to herself) Abhimanyu! I’m coming…!
