Punyashlok Ahilyabai fame Ajay Sharma who joined the show in June this year, has now been roped in to essay a pivotal role in Naagin 6, featuring Tejasswi Prakash, Mahekk Chahal, and Simba Nagpal in lead roles.
Ajay will essay the role of Nagraj Takshak in the show. Talking about it during a recent interview, he shared, “My entry will be shown after the leap when Pratha comes to Naglok for her daughter’s whereabouts. Nagraj Takshak is righteous and a positive character. I am quite excited about joining the cast of Naagin, as it is a popular franchise. In addition, I am doing a costume drama with producer Ekta Kapoor 14 years after my stint on Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki.”
When asked how he is managing two shows simultaneously, he replied, “Working in two shows together is always difficult, especially managing dates. Fortunately, I was offered Naagin at a time when my track in Punyashlok Ahilyabai is on a break for a month. According to the storyline, my character, Shuja-Ud-Daula has gone to find support to avenge his defeat at the hands of Ahilyabai. It’s a negative character. I feel fortunate to be exploring negative and positive shades in two shows at the same time. I am enjoying the best of both worlds.”
