The Episode starts with Ahilya asking Dushyant to ask someone if they have seen anything. She signs Tukoji and goes aside to talk. She says no one should know that we are making a plan to control the dacoits. He says no one would know, not even the villagers. She assures the villagers. They all thank her. She leaves. Rakma says you know what to do. Guard nods. She goes to Malerao. He says you think I m venting my anger, what will I do. She says you are getting a chance. He asks what do you mean. She brainwashes him. Guard comes and tells about Mukta’s Van bhojan. Malerao gets angry. Ahilya performs the puja. Gautama and Harku come there. Ahilya asks her to say what she wants to say.
Gautama asks what are you doing, Malerao needs your attention. Ahilya says tell me something, we remove old flowers from shivling and put new flowers, why, it’s a lesson for me, its an inspiration for us, we see every morning like a new morning, we forget everything and make a new start, but Malerao… She cries. She says Malerao doesn’t let me forget the old days, I m his mum, I explain my heart every day that he will change today, he will do something that no one will be hurt, that day didn’t come till now. Malerao threatens the guard and scolds him. Rakma smiles.
She sends the guard. She asks Malerao to calm down. He says Ahilya has angered me, I can’t calm down. Rakma says she doesn’t trust you. Harku says we understand you, but we have to think of Malerao, he is the future heir of Malwa, we are scared that… Ahilya says I m not going against Peshwa’s decision, I know Malerao will become the heir, he has to handle the Rajya, but do you really think he is ready to take the responsibility. Gautama says one side is your stubbornness and other side is the misunderstanding, how will the relation get fine, does this assure Malwa’s bright future. Rakma smiles seeing Malerao. She asks where are you going. He says to ask mum for answers. She says no, calm down, try to understand, you have to accept this bitter truth, until Ahilya has the Rajya in her hand, decisions will be of her, everyone will have to accept it. Kishan says we will meet Ahilya soon. Gautama says Malerao is Mukta’s brother, he will protect Mukta well. Ahilya says no, its not possible. Gautama asks what do you mean. Ahilya says I can’t send Malerao, I have permitted Mukta to go for Van bhojan, it’s a part of my plan, my aim is to catch those dacoits, this Van bhojan will take me to them.
