The Episode starts with the guard coming to Malhar and saying Peshwa is calling you. Ahilya comes to talk to Malhar and Khanderao. Malhar says Peshwa Sarkar called us, we will talk later. Khanderao asks her to come along. She thinks what to do now. Tukoji and Ramjani take a disguise and come to the fort. She dances. He asks her to be careful. The guards stop them. He asks what’s special there. The guard says canon position is getting changed, people aren’t allowed there. Khanderao asks the matter. Malhar says Surajmal has sent a letter, he is ready to surrender. Ahilya says no, matter is something else, he is trying to distract us, we shouldn’t believe this letter, he doesn’t want to surrender, he has some plan, I m saying right, we have seen some movements at the fort. Shinde asks

do you have any proof. Ahilya says Tukoji has gone to find out, we will know the truth till evening. Peshwa asks what do you think, we should judge this letter based on a doubt. Malhar and Shinde say we should stay alert and wait till evening. Ahilya says yes, we should keep an eye on the enemy, we have to stop the tunnel work till we get the info. Khanderao asks why, this tunnel can help us, why are you scared, if you are saying right, if Surajmal is planning against us, we have the tunnel as a weapon, you said Tukoji will get the news, we will deal with it. Malhar says Khanderao is saying right. Tukoji and Ramjani try to hear Surajmal and Maan Singh’s talks. Maan Singh says if Khanderao comes, then he will die by the canon blast. Tukoji says we have to go close and hear them. He asks Ramjani to keep the knife in hand. Surajmal says Khanderao will come, but he won’t go back alive, he will die. They hear this and get shocked.

Surajmal says I asked two days time from Peshwa, Khanderao will leave the fort in two days, I don’t want to do this, but Khanderao didn’t leave any option, he will die surely. Tukoji and Ramjani leave. He says we have to go out, let us go. Guard says the door got shut, the door will open in the morning now. Tukoji says we have to go to village, let us go. He begs them to at least permit Ramjani to go, she left a little baby at home. Guard asks him to go. Tukoji says please let us go, we have to go. Gautama, Parvati and Harku pray. Parvati asks shall I stay here for sometime if you permit. Gautama says even my heart is restless today, I will also stay. Harku says I will also stay. Ahilya waits for Tukoji and Ramjani. She prays for their safety. She goes to apply sindoor. She checks the box. She says sindoor got finished, I forgot to refill the sindoor box, what shall I do now. She remembers Ramjani. Khanderao says if anyone asks about me, then say that I went for some imp work. He leaves. Ahilya looks for sindoor box in Ramjani’s room. She gets the sindoor box. She takes it to apply. Tukoji and Ramjani come shouting. The sindoor box falls down. Ahilya cries. He says your doubt was right, Surajmal is plotting a dangerous plan to kill Khanderao, we have to tell this to Khanderao soon, go and tell him, I will tell Malhar.

They see the sindoor fallen. Ramjani picks the sindoor box and applies tilak to Ahilya. Ahilya goes and asks about Khanderao. Guard says he went for some imp work. Ahilya prays for Khanderao. Malhar sees her running. Tukoji comes to Malhar and tells everything. Khanderao and the workers are at the tunnel site. Khanderao asks the workers to be careful, one mistake can become a reason for their defeat. Ahilya runs to Khanderao. Surajmal signs the man to load the canon. He gets a firetorch. The queens pray for Khanderao. Surajmal lights the canon and smiles. The queens try to save the diya. Khanderao sees Ahilya. Ahilya sees him and smiles. The canon hits the fireball at the tunnel site. Khanderao flies in the air and falls down. Ahilya is shocked. The wind blows off the diya. The queens get worried.

Ahilya looks on. Malhar asks how can he do this by breaking the battle rules. He hears the canon blast sound. Ahilya sees the workers lying dead. She shouts Khanderao. She sees Khanderao lying wounded.
