The Episode starts with Ahilya, Renu and Sarja coming to the village temple. Ahilya tells them about Khanderao’s drinking habit. She tells what all happened. She says it would have not happened if I was with him, but I m not finding time for him, I m busy with household and Rajya work, Malhar is doubtful to make him the heir because of his behavior, if he knows about the drinking habit, then what will happen. Renu asks her not to worry. She says you are lucky that he loves you a lot, you pray and everything will be sorted soon. Some people sing and dance at the temple. The newly weds kids and their elders come there. Pandit asks them to sit and take blessings. Ahilya comes and gives the chadava to pandit. Renu stays away. Ahilya prays for Khanderao’s success. Ahilya sits and looks on. She sees Renu standing away. She says I feel sad seeing Renu standing there with the widows, she is standing alone there, I don’t like this partiality. Renu sees the diya oil falling. She worries. She runs to save the bride.
The bride shouts on Renu and insults her for being a widow. Renu says I was just blowing off the fire. The bride asks what was the need, you are a widow, don’t you understand, you shouldn’t touch anything, you touched the saree as well. She prays to Devimaa. Ahilya says Renu had come to blow off the fire. The lady says but… Ahilya says think, the fire would have caught up. The lady scolds Renu. She says you could have shouted and alerted us. The man says she made it impure. Ahilya asks how, Renu is like us, Devimaa can’t leave her child with whom fate has been unjust, who gave us a right to insult her. The old lady says this widow has crossed all the limits. Renu cries. Pandit says I respect you and the royal family, but our traditions are above all, if this widow stays here, then Devi’s puja can’t happen, ask her to leave, we have to do shuddikaran of the mandap. Ahilya asks what do you mean, this mandap got impure because of one person, Renu’s husband had died as per his fate, did Renu’s life end after that. Renu says its a happy day for them, I have no complains. She asks Ahilya to come, if she has prayed to Devimaa. They leave.
They come back to the palace. Ahilya says their thinking is so bad, they all blamed you. Renu says leave it. Ahilya asks why, how long will we stay quiet. She feels bad. She says we have to bring a change. Renu says Malhar came to my house to explain everyone, people got quiet because of him, but their thinking is still the same, how can a change come, you have raised a voice for me many times, what did you get, you got scolding from Gautama and sometimes punishment, there will be no new way for widows. Ahilya cries. Renu says I have accepted my fate. She cries and asks Ahilya to accept this. She says its wrong to expect this from the entire world, just forget whatever happened. She goes. Sarja cries and says she got sorrow at a young age. Ahilya thinks Renu won’t fight for herself, but I will fight for you and your respect, none can stop me, I will get you the right place.
