The Episode starts with Shantaram denying the blame. He recalls Gunu ji’s words and defends himself in the court. He says I have raised hand for the first time today, I m sorry. The people say he is right, no husband can tolerate this. Ahilya says you are lying, Shantaram, its not the first time that you raised hand on Krishna, even if we believe it, then why did you raise hand on her, its wrong to raise hand on a woman, when a man uses his power and tortures a woman, then it’s a crime, you should get punished for this. Khanderao says Shantaram and Krishna also gave the statements, you had sent the men to take the villagers’ statements, today they have come here, let them speak. The villagers greet Khanderao. He gives the sword to the guard. He returns to his throne. He chants the shlok. He says where a woman is worshipped, Devtas reside there, Devs will be upset with your thinking, a man’s firstmost duty is to respect every woman and treat her well, a woman gives birth to a child, she deserves respect, how dare you say bad words to your wife, you look at Ahilya, she is Choti rani, she is also a woman, she handles the entire Rajya so well, and also her household, just a woman can balance things and do such work, you have insulted Krishna, Malwa women and Choti Rani also, you insulted my Ahilya… you will be punished.
