The Episode starts with Ahilya asking Gautama why did you remove the jewellery. Gautama says take away everything from me but let the Shraddh happen with rituals. Malhar comes and consoles her. She says we have done a lot of compromises, but not this time, I don’t want any hurdle in my son’s Shraddh. Hari says we have to prove that Ahilya isn’t capable to become the queen, Gangoba just set the game for me, I will play the move. Malerao says Ahilya is wrong and Gautama is right, so I will stand with Gautama. Ahilya says I m talking to Gautama, don’t interfere in between. Malerao says you are bringing a hurdle in the Shraddh, why shall I not say, I m doing my duty as a son. She says I m giving you a last chance, I wanted to talk to Gautama and explain to her. He asks what do you want to explain, explain to me. She asks him to shut up. Gautama asks why, he has a right to talk on this matter.
Ahilya says the people need this money, Khanderao isn’t between us, he loved the people, its better to benefit the people than donating money, try to understand, people are dying in hunger, if we fulfil their needs, then it will be good. Malerao says you will get praised, you always compromise on our feelings, why, you have insulted our feelings. Malhar shouts Malerao. He asks him to talk to his mum well. Malerao says sorry, Gautama is also like Ahilya’s mum, see how she is talking.
Ahilya says we won’t donate grains, not the money. Gautama says I will do my duty towards my son. She faints down. Everyone worries for her. Narmada sees the people crying. The man says royal family has money to donate, but not coming here to help us, when will Ahilya come, after we die. Narmada wishes Ahilya comes soon before the people’s hopes break.
Gautama gets conscious. Ahilya tries to explain. Gautama asks her to stop it. Raj Vaid comes and checks Gautama. Malhar sees Ahilya crying.
