The Episode starts with Khanderao asking Ahilya to massage his legs. Ahilya argues and returns the shank. She says I don’t want any gift, I will never listen to you. She goes. His friends look on. He says she returned the gifts to me in front of my friends, I will see her. Harku explains Ahilya about the mu dikhai. Ahilya asks how will I see them. Harku says you can see them partly through the ghunghat. Gautama comes and says I m Ahilya’s Saas, I will make her ready. She doesn’t like her look and tries to give a new look. She says wow, you look beautiful now, everyone should be stunned seeing the future queen of Malwa. She makes Ahilya ready and smiles. Ahilya comes for her mu dikhai and sits. Everyone comes and gets seated.
Harku asks everyone to come for the rasam. Ahilya
She supports Ahilya. Yamuna asks Dwarka to see that Gautama is chanting queen’s name. Ahilya thinks how can I keep quiet when anyone talks bad about my dad. Gautama asks Ahilya to smile, the function is happening for her. Ahilya smiles.
Gautama says the ladies have praised Ahilya a lot and blessed her. Malhar says you had made her ready, she had to get praised. Gautama says its a tough task to teach her our values. He says I have given you this responsibility. She reminds his promise. He says I do remember my promise, I think it will take time, Khanderao should come to Darbar. She says you said you will declare him as the heir when we return to Malwa, he will slowly learn to manage the throne. He says fine. She smiles and says I have called Gangoba, he will be coming. Gangoba comes. Malhar says I want to declare Khanderao as my heir. Gangoba smiles.
Yamuna says Malhar has promised Gautama, the reason is just one, Ahilya. Dwarka says the date isn’t fixed for the Samaroh/event, I won’t let my daughter lose all the time, I won’t let the event happen at any cost. Ahilya recalls Sushila making her ready for the function. Mankoji gets flowers for her. Ahilya gets happy and wears the garlands. She asks why do you call me a princess. Mankoji says children matter a lot to the parents. FB ends. Ahilya recalls his words. She removes the jewellery.
Harku comes and asks are you upset, maybe you are finding the jewellery heavy, you have to keep it as a responsibility, let some time pass, everything shall be fine. Ahilya says the jewellery is hurting me, he said he is my best friend and asked me to come to his palace, why did that lady say that I look from this family because of the clothes and jewellery. Harku consoles her. She asks about Shiv decorated for the puja. Ahilya says we have to decorate the idol, many people come to see the temple, Shiv ji has to look good. Harku says yes, right, same way, when our new bahu comes to meet people, then she should also look good, right. Ahilya understands. Harku says grow up and make your own identity, you are too young now. Ahilya smiles. Harku asks are you hungry. Ahilya says yes, no one gave me any food to have. Harku says you used to have food early and sleep in the village, its not the same here, you will have food with everyone, puja will happen before that, come.
