The Episode starts with Parikshit praying at the temple. Harku comes and praises his devotion. She says I have seen just few warriors having such devotion. He says Guruji taught this to me. She says you prayed for Khanderao that day. He says yes, its a big day today. She asks what’s special today. He says nothing. He goes and thinks maybe Ahilya has thought of something. Dwarka says we can’t be there, else we will get suspected. She says we shouldn’t get into any problem, you will go there, you can come and tell me everything, Acharya was going with Mahants, if he sees anything on the way then… Yamuna says then what can we. Dwarka asks her to follow Parikshit. Parikshit leaves. Yamuna follows him. Harku sees Yamuna hiding and leaving in a cart.
She says is she following Parikshit, I m overthinking. Renu waits for Ahilya. Parikshit comes there. Renu sees him. Her clothes get stuck in the thorns. He asks her not to pull the saree, it may get torn. He goes and helps her. He asks her to take care. Ahilya comes to the temple. She greets Harku. Ahilya says I feel restless, I had a bad nightmare. Harku thinks maybe I was wrong to think about Yamuna. The pandits and mahants come there. They see Renu with Pariksit. The villagers gather. Yamuna looks on and smiles. The pandits scold Renu.
Acharya says you are doing so wrong at a pure place like the temple. Ahilya is still praying at the palace temple. The mahants insult Renu and ask Parikshit not to talk in between. Acharya says Renu will be punished for this Adharm, they both should die, no one should dare to do such a sin. Mahants agree. Parikshit stops them. He holds Renu’s hand. The people pick up stones to beat them. Ahilya comes there. She stands in front of Renu. The people stop. Yamuna looks on.
Acharya says Renu should be punished. Ahilya says she is my friend, I will get hurt if she is hurt. Acharya says you don’t get into this, these two have done a sin. Ahilya asks what did you see them doing. Mahant says we can’t tell it, they both came out from the bushes. Parikshit says her saree was stuck in the thorns, I was just helping her. Acharya says no need to lie. Parikshit says I m saying the truth. Acharya says fine, don’t you remember that she is a widow, she didn’t stop you, she would have chose to die than letting a stranger come close, its disgusting, you both have no right to stay alive. Ahilya says you didn’t see them doing wrong, they are innocent. Acharya says they broke the limits, they did a sin. She says they didn’t do any sin, they are in love. Acharya and everyone are shocked.
Acharya says a widow, love…. no, a widow has no right to love. Mahants shout against Renu. Renu cries. Everyone calls Renu a sinner. Ahilya asks why, is she not a human, does she not have a right to have a family. Acharya says enough, I don’t want to argue, I m asking you to get away, you don’t come in between, we will punish Renu and Parikshit. Ahilya says forgive me, I respect Dharm, but I m Malhar’s bahu, Khanderao’s wife, Malwa’s future queen, Renu and Parikshit are my Praja also, its my duty to protect my Praja and give them a happy life, its my Dharm, I can’t leave my Praja in your hands, if they did any mistake, then the decision will be taken in Rajya darbar, not here. Yamuna looks on. Ahilya says I m taking them with me. Acharya says you want to save them from the punishment, you accepted that this widow has done a sin to love, we will protect Dharm. The villagers say we can’t forgive Renu, else widows will get encouraged to do wrong, they both should get punished. They all shout. Renu cries.
