The Episode starts with Ahilya asking the girl who is she. She consoles the girl. She asks the girl to come to her. The girl comes. Kaka scolds the girl and asks her to leave. Ahilya says Kaka, you don’t scold her. The girl falls in her feet and cries. Ahilya looks at her. The girl tells about her poverty. She says I didn’t steal anything, forgive me. Ahilya helps her and asks her to drink water. The girl cries and says not a single sack is open, I didn’t steal anything. She misses her dad. Ahilya asks do you also stay away from your dad. The girl nods.
Gautama says the marriage is auspicious for Khanderao, he is declared the heir. She sees Harku lost. She says I will make the garlands, just tell me what are you thinking. Harku says its not right to give responsibility to Ahilya. They argue. Harku says Ahilya is from an ordinary house, she may do any mistake then… Gautama says why, she can’t make any mistake, she has impressed Malhar, if she makes a mistake then she has to pay for it. She asks Harku to go and get the idol. Harku goes and thinks Malhar isn’t here to help Ahilya. Ahilya is still with the girl. The girl narrates her dad’s leaving. She says once we didn’t have food for two days, dad got punished for our mistake, he was sent to jail. She cries. She says I promise I will not come here again, just let me go now, forgive me, don’t put me in the jail.
Ahilya sees her pain and cries. She gets an idea. She says my best friend asked me to regard this house as own, but it doesn’t look so. She tells her problems and cries. She asks will you become my friend, there is no friend in this palace. The girl shakes hands. Gautama leaves from the temple. Dwarka says I was coming to talk to you, you have to give the salary to everyone today. Yamuna says I will do the work tomorrow. Gautama says Alilya will do the rituals, she is the bahu, she will become the queen later. Ahilya gets the girl home.
Dwarka says she is a thief’s daughter, I know the case well. Gautama calls the girl. Ahilya says because she is my friend. Dwarka goes. Gautama says its not good to roam with such people. Ahilya says helping someone is a good thing. Gautama says this girl is from thief’s family. It will be her habit to steal, she isn’t a good person. Khanderao asks Gautama to give work to the girl. She reminds Gautama and gets scolded. Khanderao looks on. Gautama gets angry and says this girl won’t step in our palace. Harku asks Ahilya not to worry. Ahilya asks what will they talk. Gautama asks the staff to take the girl outside.

The way Ahilya is portrayed in this series comes across as a whiny girl who may/may not
have autism, hence her inability to follow instructions. Please treat her with justice
that is due to Ahilya Bai Holkar.
