The Episode starts with Sushila saying Ahilya didn’t return home till now. Khanderao says I will find her. She says you don’t know the routes in the village, you don’t go, she will come on her own. They get worried. She prays for her return. Khanderao thinks come home Ahilya, I will not take your promise. Mankoji comes and says I didn’t find Ahilya anywhere, she left from Renu’s house long time back. She asks is she in trouble. He says don’t say that, I will ask Gangoba and guards to find her. Khanderao thinks Gangoba also thinks like dad, if he doubts me, then… he will question me, if this matter reaches dad, then he will scold me a lot, Ahilya come home fast, I won’t ask you to promise for a month. Sushila cries.
Ahilya prays that she just wants to study. She sees someone coming. She shouts don’t kill me, I didn’t do anything, leave me. Malhar looks at her. She sees Malhar and cries. Malhar says apology makes him remember that he doesn’t make a mistake again, one who is ashamed to apology should remember to not make a mistake. Sushila asks how can a husband apologize to wife. Malhar says he isn’t Lord, Khanderao did a mistake, he has to apologize. Khanderao says forgive me. Malhar asks him to apologize well. Khanderao apologizes and goes. Mankoji and Sushila ask Malhar not to tell anything to Khanderao now. Malhar says I m ashamed, I made Ahilya my bahu and today, Ahilya was alone in that darkness for so long because of my son. Ahilya thinks Khanderao got scolded today, he would have felt bad, he would be angry. She goes to Khanderao. He scolds her for always trying to be equal to her. He asks what’s the use to stay hungry for me when I don’t deserve you.
Ahilya says I didn’t say that, Malhar said that, he had heard you saying about the lie. He argues. He says I decided to not talk to you or look at you, I will not trouble you. She goes. Mankoji asks what’s the matter. Ahilya says Khanderao doesn’t want to have food, he refused to come. Malhar says he would be upset, he has much ego in him, I will not ask him to have food. Mankoji says I can’t have food if he is hungry. Malhar says I explained him many times to become responsible, have food. He likes the food and tells Sushila that its really tasty. Ahilya thinks of Khanderao’s words. Malhar says I have to find out who has attacked Khanderao and Ahilya, else the poisoned roots will ruin down Malwa, don’t worry, your daughter is safe, I will not let anything happen to her. Mankoji says I trust you, I worry for her being a father. Malhar says don’t worry. He asks do you know why did Ahilya and Khanderao fight. Mankoji thinks maybe its because of her wish to study, maybe he also gets upset.
