The Episode starts with Malhar and Gangoba coming to the temple. They leave. Ahilya calls out Malhar. He doesn’t hear her voice. She runs to stop him. Pandit asks what happened, are you fine, shall I get water for you. She says yes. He asks did you have any work with Malhar. She says yes. He says you got late in coming, he will come back in 2 days, you will be related to him, you can talk to him anytime now, he will be your Sasur, both the families will be into a relation now. Ahilya says he is my friend, what’s Sasur. He says Malhar had asked for your hand for his son, you will be marrying his son. She gets shocked. She cries.
Pandit asks are you fine, what happened. He goes. She says Malhar did this, he is my friend, how can he do this, he isn’t my friend now. She comes back. Ahilya tries to talk. Sushila says we have to do puja now. Ahilya washes her feet and comes for the puja. Mankoji thanks Shiv Shambu. Ahilya looks on and thinks pandit was saying the truth, I m getting married. She cries.
Sushila says everyone is happy except Ahilya. Mankoji tries to cheer up Ahilya. She stays upset. He says it can’t happen that you don’t listen to me. She runs out. Sushila stops her and says look at that plant, when your dad goes for puja, you take these flowers. Ahilya says I know, I pluck flowers always. He says if you don’t pluck these flowers, what will happen. She says it will get dried up. He says if this flower is still on the plant, it will get dry, that’s why we pluck it and take it to temple, or decorate it in the house. He says flower’s life gets complete by helping everyone, did you understand.
He says you had planted this one, you always fed water to it, you were waiting for the flower bud to blossom, you know that a flower isn’t with the plant for a long time, same way we humans are also there, we have to move on from our roots at some point of time. Sushila says flower and tree are hurt at that time, but they tolerate it, thinking flower will help someone, same way, a girl’s life completes when she gets married. Ahilya says I don’t want to marry, you all are here, I love you all, why shall I go away, tell me, will you like it.
He says no, you are our life, we won’t get happy, we have to give a real house to our daughter, that’s also our responsibility. She asks isn’t this my real house, will my brothers also go away. They laugh. Sushila says your brothers won’t go, just daughters go home, your Bhabhis will come home. Ahilya says I won’t marry.
Sushila says every girl gets married, no one asks such questions to her parents. He says our daughter is different, we know this. She asks why does girls have to go to other’s house. He says she will understand it soon, a girl has to go and make a family. She asks will she stay upset till then, look at her face. He says don’t worry, everything will get fine, lets leave her alone for some time. They leave Ahilya alone and go.
Ahilya recalls her parents and brothers. She cries thinking of the happy moments in the house. She sees the house. She says do I really need to leave all this and go, why didn’t Malhar ask or tell me.
Gautama waits for Malhar. She says Malhar is coming back today. Dwarka asks really. Gautama says yes, I m making the servants cook his fav food. Dwarka says we didn’t know it, if you told us, then we would have got prepared as well. Gautama says soldiers just inform the queen, what’s there to complain, I m informing you all now. Gangoba and the soldiers come. Gautama looks at the gate. She asks Gangoba where is Malhar. Malhar says he has gone to Peshwa, he has sent me to give you an imp message. She asks him to say, is everything fine. She says I m glad that my husband isn’t in danger, he is fine. Soldier gets a letter. Gautama reads it. She smiles. She says I have invited a royal family, I wanted to see Pawar’s daughter for Khanderao.
Dwarka says you sent the invite before Malhar came. Gautama says yes, why, so not, we will call Pawar again, I will talk to them till then, I m Khanderao’s mum. Gangoba says sorry, its late, no use to call Pawar, refuse to him. She asks why. He says because you all have to go to Chondi village with Khanderao. She says you all stayed there, right. He says yes. She asks what’s our work there, tell me clearly. He says its Shagun Nariyal, Malhar has fixed Khanderao’s alliance with Chondi Patil’s daughter Ahilya. They all get shocked. She asks why are you folding hands in front of me, it doesn’t look good. He says you are going to become a queen. She thinks everyone is scared because of my marriage, I won’t let this marriage happen.
