The Episode starts Harku saying we knew you will win, but we were scared for you. Khanderao brings Ahilya there. He asks Malhar to tell them about the battle. Malhar says I know Ahilya would like to know, you are also showing interest, come sit. He tells the battle story. Yamuna comes to Dwarka. Dwarka asks her to not come to her room. Yamuna apologizes. She says you didn’t say anything to Ahilya and Khanderao, they are your family, I m just your Daasi. Gunu ji comes to meet Dwarka. She asks what is the imp work, tell me. He says I have a request, I m much worried, talk to Malhar and free me from Malwa Pranth service, I can’t do this work now. She asks what had happened that you told a big thing. He says everyone has a self esteem. She says surely. He says when I don’t get any respect
Malhar says I have first made Nizam’s army away from our borders, then I had gone to win Delhi with Bajirao Peshwa, but the enemy wasn’t sitting quiet, the other king had sent his minister with large number of soldiers, I had to wait on the banks of river Yamuna, then I went to the other side of the bank, I ruined the enemy army’s plan, Bajirao attacked them, then the winning phase started, we went to Delhi and defeated the enemy, on our return, Nizam’s army tried to attack us again, we didn’t fight them, we surrounded them. He tells them further. They clap for him. Ahilya says good thing is no one lost their blood. Khanderao asks how did you do all this, you didn’t had army with you, you didn’t had support. Malhar says one has to keep his responsibility, one has to make a new way when there is no way. Khanderao nods. Ahilya recalls the poor family.
Dwarka meets Ahilya in the kitchen. She says you had gone to the temple, did you stop anywhere on the way. Ahilya says yes, its good Khanderao and I have seen them. Dwarka asks whom did you meet, tell me. Ahilya gets silent. Dwarka says I know everything, whom you met, what all happened. Ahilya says good you know, you would be feeling bad, right, don’t worry, Khanderao has sent grains to their house, he said we will help them. Dwarka says really, you are still hiding the real thing, you are bringing Khanderao in Gunu ji’s way. Ahilya asks what do you mean. Dwarka says you are making Khanderao against Gunu ji. Ahilya says I didn’t do anything such, why would I do it. Dwarka says get away from my way, else next time I won’t talk, I have to do something else, which you can’t even imagine. She leaves.
Ahilya doesn’t get sleep. She recalls everyone’s words. Gunu ji says I was trying to do it my way, but I have to do what I should have done before. He sees a knife in hand. Ahilya comes to Khanderao. She wakes him up. She says I have to talk to you. She asks him to talk to Gunu ji, he can’t neglect his duty. He says I know Munu ji, he will get angry, I have to find some way. She says Malhar said that we have to make a new way when there is no way around. He asks how do you remember what everyone said. She says one should listen by heart, not ears, what will we do now, we promised Kaki. He gets thinking.
