Scene 1:
Location: Vikrant’s residence
Sarita welcomes everyone, along with abhi to their house. All bless sarita, that she is happy now, and asks about the puja arrangements. sarita says that the priestess would reach soon, and then they would start the puja. She leaves for making other. As she passes by kajri’s room, she overhears kajri thanking vikrant, and happy that he did the right thing. Sarita understands that this was the reason of getting rohan back, and that she was unnecessarily angry at him, and she shouldnt have done that. After she leaves, rohan takes her hand away from kajri and leaves. kajri is happy that she would finally win.

Sarita enters vikrant’s room, and is awkward finding him changing, with a bare torso. She lloks away but then finds that

his sherwani is buttoned the wrong way, and starts laughing. Vikrant is confused. She comes to him and points it out. She herself does it for him, and rectifies the order of the buttons. She apologises for the fact that she was angry at him, for getting rohan, as she was concerned about shiela, being at discomfort. She says that she would get shiela to understand, and piraises him for keeping the importance of Karvachauth. Vikrant inturn thanks her that she wasnt affected by rohan being here. vikrant tells sarita that shiela isnt unconfortable with rohan being here, as she herself wants to be with him. Sarita is shocked to hear this. Vikrant says that vandana told her about this. Vikrant tells sarita about shiela’s challenge to kajri, and tells her to ask shiela to stay away from rohan, as he’s someone else’s husband, and those who eye someone else’s husband are really low level women. Sarita is tensed to hear this. she tries to say that this cant be the truth, but he says that he would have to take care of vandna and kajal. Vikrant says that according to the ritual, he got her a gift, and gives her jewellery. She asks him to be responsible enough too and refrain from breaking other people’s marriages. Sarita is shocked at this kind of behaviour, while vikrant leaves. she still refuses to belive that this is true and thinks that vikrant had a misunderstanding. She decides to talk to shiela. she eys the ring that he had got for her, and takinjg it, she is tensed thinking about what happened between them. She takes the gift and opens her wardrobe and keeps it inside. and before she could shut it, she is called and she leaves.

shiela calls raj to ask him to come soon with divya. She finds rohan confronting him, and is surprised. Rohan gets her a gift for the occasion. She goes on to say why would she take the gift as its kajal’s right. she asks to be let gone, as there would be drama if someone sees them. rohan says that he doesnt care, as kajal and rohan dont exist anymore, and only loves her and wants to marry her. He says that he has become a good man for her. She says that she cant steal kajal’s husband. he says that he wont hesitate to take kajal out of their lives if need be, to get to her. shiela leaves from there, with rohan, in tow. Kajri resolves to avenge this. Kajri goes to vandana and tells everything that just happened. Vandan asks her to calm down, but kajri says that all that shiela wants is hapeneing. Vandna says that her death wont get rohan to her. Kajri says that she can take shiela’s life and then have rohan. Vandna is shocked and asks her if she has gone mad. kajri says that they have no other option, and tries to say that noone would know, amongst all the guests as to who did this. vandana agrees and is on her side. kajri says that tonight would be shiela’s last night.As kajal comes out, sarita tries to stop her, but she doesnt listen and walks on.

As the priestess goes on the story telling, sarita takes shiela aside to talk to her. she tells sarita that all of this was true, andf sarita is shocked. Sarita asks if she’s in her senses, and how can she destroy someone’s life. Shiela says that she has decided that she would have her revenge on kajri, who spoiled her life, and would destroy her marital life too. sarita slaps shiela tightly. Shiela says that she has the right, and she knows tht sarita wont or for that matter, noone would understand, how madly she had been in rohan’s love, and spent two days with him, and now she wont be able to live in peace, until she has her revenge on him. but sarita stops her from talking anymore, and leaves saying that she is utterly disappointed in her. It is shown that somebody was eavesdropping on their conversation, but it isnt revealed.

Finally the Story finishes, and all happily hear it from the priestess. Sarita finds abhi playing, and vikrant asks him not to play here. Vikrant sees sarita from a distance curtly. the priestess blesses them to be married always. They all get up. Granny compliements the priestess for such a nice rendition and asks kamla to think about divya, for whom raj hasnt come yet. they all wish for the moon to come soon. Sarita says that she waits, but isnt in any hurry. divya asks if she isnt hungry. sarita says that she feels that she can keep this fast for life for someone. They compliment her on her devotion. Vikrant is utterly baffled at this. sarita turns back and smiles at him. he too smiles and leaves. She thinks that she knows that she’s still angry and upset, but tonight she would clear everything, and remove all sadness from his life. meanwhile, vikrant goes on to play the Cd that sarita had given him as a gift. It doesnt work. He finds that the cables are unplugged. He plugs them back, and still is unable to see what he does. the screen freezes on his baffled face.

Precap: sarita performs the ritual and breaks the karvachauth fast, by looking at the moon, and then at vikrant, through the sieve, smilingly, while he maintains a curt face.
